My Ipad 4 wont charge on its original 12W wall charger
My Ipad 4 wont charge on its original 12W wall charger but when i charge it to an ASUS 7watts charger it runs and goes 100%. Thus Its cable is good.
Please advise what would be the next move to address this issue. I dont want to use other brand of charger just to use and appreciate the new 12W adapter.
Current OS: IOS 8.1.2
So when you use the Apple charger it doesn't work but when you use the Asus one it does?
Suggests to me that the charger is bad.
If your charger is less than a year old, make an appointment at your local apple store and take it in. It should be covered by the warranty against manufacturer's defects. If it's out of warranty, you can buy replacement chargers at any major retailer. (I got one for my iPad at Walmart)
Just make sure to get an Apple one, not a knock off.

The iPad 3 with retina display came with a 10W charger. The iPad 4 with retina display comes with a 12W charger that you can buy.

My Mac Air no longer charges from its original power supply?
The Mac Air was used on the charger for the Mac Powerbook. It no longer charges from the original Air power supply.
How can this be corrected?Yes. The Mac Air worked fine on its originial charger. My wife needed to use it when her PowerBook died. She plugged it into the PowerBook charger which had the same plug at it worked on the PowerBook charger. When I tried to charger it on the original Air charger, it no longer would charge on the Air charger.

Cannot charge ipod touch (3G) with wall charger, only using MAC.
I've had my Ipod Touch for over a year. Suddenly yesterday the device will not charge with either a wall (a/c) charger or a car charger. I have two wall chargers and neither one works. It will only charge when plugged into a usb port on my MAC computers. I took it into a Genious Bar today, a both of the employees there replicated my problem, but had no clue why it is doing this. They also verified that both of my wall chargers function properly. Any ideas?
Ah! I am having the same problem! All charging methods were working fine, and all of a sudden only the computer charger works. I've got two cables, and both charge via computer, and neither charge via the wall or car charger. The connection automatically starts the iPod, but charging does not occur. Have you resolved this issue yet? Thanks!

Charging Shuffle 3G using A Wall Charger
my shuffle 3G can be charge using a PC. But when using regular USB wall charger it is not showing the light to indicate the Ipod is being charging! So I bought following charger from ebay!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/120671316940?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m143 9.l2649
But the result is same!
Is shuffle 3G need data signal from PC to charge?
(I'm using the USB cable which comes with shuffle)No, there is no need for a data signal to charge an iPod. However, the quality of ultra-cheap items from eBay can be questionable. $1.98? How good could it be? It is likely that the item you bought does not provide sufficient power, or is otherwise faulty.
Apple just announced the "USB Power Adapter Takeback Program" to provide customers of Apple devices with high-quality power adapters for a reasonable price ($10). Details here
http://www.apple.com/support/usbadapter-takeback/
You may want to take that one from eBay and exchange it for an official Apple USB power adapter (on or after 8/16). -
please help
You may have to hold the home and power buttons down for more than 10 to 15 seconds. That is the normal amount of time it should take to do a soft-reset on an iDevice. But I have had a similar problem and found that if I held the buttons down for a couple of minutes my device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) would finally unlock and start up. You just have to be patient and hold the buttons down. You might also try doing this with your iPad plugged into the charger.

HI
this happened today suddenly while i was working on my iPad it kicked my out of the app that i was using then white screen with black apple logo came out, i thought it was an ordinary thing cause this happens all the time with me, but this time it refused to turn on! After the white screen with the black logo vanished i wad waiting for my lock screen but no, a black screen showed up just like that! And could tell it was black "lighten" screen i tried more than 10 times to do the home+power thing but it wont work, whats wrong with my ipad!If the battery is completely drained it may take some time while on the charger before the iPad responds. Plug the iPad into the charger that came with it and plug that into a good wall outlet. Wait one hour. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. If the iPad restarts let it continue to charge until the battery is 100%. If it doesn't start up make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. They will examine your iPad and explain your options.

IPad 2 won't charge using its outlet charger.
I've had my iPad 2 for about 6 months now, and it recently just started this problem last night. I try to charge it using the official wall charger that came with it, but it doesn't charge it at all. It just beeps on and off as if I'm unplugging and replugging the cable in (althought the cable is securely in and I'm not touching it). I connected different devices to the same charger (my cellphone that's not an iPhone, for example) and they charge just fine. But connecting my iPad to the charger and it completely goes nuts.
I should point out that I'm in Germany at the moment and the iPad is from the U.S. (where I'm usually located). But I've been to Germany with this same iPad, the same charger, and the same adaptor before (a month ago) and I had no problems last time. I also am able to slowly charge the iPad via USB connection to a friend's laptop (albeit very slowly). I just really want to know why my wall outlet charger will work with other devices, and the USB cable works from iPad to laptop (again, although very slowly), but together the two things wont charge my iPad and the iPad beeps on and off as if I'm unplugging and replugging it in. Someone please help!!!The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. My ipad wont respond when i plug a charger into it
So about a week ago my ipad wouldent respond when i connected the wall charger to it, But if i turn the ipad fully off and leave it over night it would charge to 100% but then run out of battery fast, ive updated my ipad and the update said it would fix a battery life bug but nothing seems to have happend...last night it was at about 56% and then it randomly started charging again and then stopped at 58%'i dont know what i did but all i know is that the ipad charger still works and the cable still works, any ideas?!?
Correct, as most computers do not supply sufficient current. It may charge, but very, very slowly. It would be best to use the included power supply.

Wall Charger of new iPad is not working
I just got a new Ipad 64GB and I observed that the wall charger adapter is not working.
I checked the cable and it is fine as it charges the iPad when connected to the computer USB and it syncs.
I also tried the wall power adapter of my iPhone and it works perfectly fine. It charges the iPad as expected.
Thus it is the iPad power adapter.
Anyone with this issue?I have the same problem and found a solution. I have two 16 GB ipads and several ipods around so was able to isolate that when using the sync cable provided with the ipad (the slim ones) the ipad and ipods did not charge correctly (very slowly if not at all). When using one older sync cable (fat connector) on the wall charger, the problem is gone. Unfortunately, I have juste one of those, but at least I am sure that it will work.
I also encounter sync issue with those small connectors : connections goes on and off without a predicable pattern.
So from my experience: the problem is not related to the ipad, the problem is not with the wall charger and using an older ipod sync connector solve the issue. The issue is with both usb connectors included with the ipads, so getting a new similar one is unlikely to solve the issue.
