My Ipad Air will not let me close the app i cant go to multi task either and the only thing on screen that changes is the date time and whether i have silent ringer or not, i also cannot access the control bar. Help would be much appreciated

Try this. Press and hold both the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own.

check the overall trash on the 'dock'.when files are deleted from programmes, they always go to the general 'Trash' as general files and you will need to delete form there as well. if there is still a lot of missing files taking up space try reloading or deleting 'Iphoto' and uploading again.

I have just had a system update. Safari 5.1.7, a security update 2012-200 and Remote app update and now when I go into a site with flash it says I do not have adobe flash. I have installed it from the site but still no luck? any help would be much appreciated Cheers Dave

Did a clean install 10.9.4. on a Apple Stock 1TB Fusion Hard Drive. When I run "diskutil list" via Terminal, everything is wrong. I have "EFI" and "apple Boot Boot OSX" in every dev/disk** Everything is out of place, How can I repair? Im willing too reformat if need be, however thats what I did in the first place. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

I have an iphone5 that is eating up data time and I can't figure out why? Any thoughts? I have closed everyting I can, even took the phone to Verizon and they are not sure what is going on. My company email is active and pushes to the phone....I use Safari regularly to look up stuff for personal and work use. I am on Facebook but have turned it off in notifications. Four phones and a hotspot on the account....we have 6g and have never come close to it, until lately and it's my phone that's eating up the gigs. So what the heck is going on?
Go to Settings/Cellular and you can see how much data each app is using. You can Reset Statistics, then track all of the apps data usage.

I can't see any videos in sites like Youtube. I have Quicktime Mac versions 10 in the application folder and Mac version 7.6 in the utilities folder. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks.
*** may have found a fix ? *** Thanks to your post re: GDI objects I checked task manager ( added column "GDI objects")and saw 700+ whereas working 6.18 was 160 ish Got thinking - what could possibly use that many GDI objects ( firefox only uses a few hundred and it's a platform ) Then it hit me - emoticons ! So in tools/ options/ IM&SMS/ IM Appearance unchecked "show emoticons"and also unchecked "show images and other media previews"restarted Skype and GDI objects now only 164 ( down from 729 )and all other windows are repainting fine and are usable again( my problem was RDP sessions that became unusable, as I work remotely ) To be sure, have rechecked the options and restarted skype and see 700+GDI objects ( goes up from 660 when place call to echo/sound test )and removed them again to get only 164have also rebooted a few times and gone through the whole processof unchecking emoticons, restart, rechecking emoticons, restart to make sure itsnot a fluke. pretty sure this has fixed it for me ( so I now have a working 7.6.0.105 on XP SP3 ),and as your problem "sounds" the same I hope it also works for you. I just checked your account, and see that it's active. Are you trying to sign in via Adobe Reader? If so, please choose Help > Check for Updates in Reader and make sure that it-s up-to-date. The most current version, 11.0.07, should alleviate that sign-in error.

I used to be able to download files from the Harddrive of my Sony Handycam, but now it won't let me import them while going through "log and transfer." I have tried to update my settings, but this doesn't seem to work. Any help would be much appreciated
Hard Drive: The Hard Drive is on my camera (Sony Handycam)
Just needed some info on what is going on with your particular system.
Knowing the exact camera model will also assist us.
If this camera is standard AVCHD you should be able to connect with USB to Mac with FCE open and use Log and Transfer without all the fiddling around converting etc.
What FCE does during ingest is convert files to AIC. (Apple Intermediate Codec)
FCE cannot read the individual files in the BDMV folder, that's why all the converting is required when you use that method.
BTW: regards formatting drives/cards/memory on cameras; it is wise to use the actual device to format rather than a computer. This is a prime cause of read/write goof ups with solid state media. This applies to still or video cameras.
Keeping the COMPLETE card/memory structure in tact is vital for successful transfers.

Is the something wrong with the link to verify my iphone?
The only thing that Im thinking could be the issue is that I just got the phone yesterday and it started to download is06 and didn't finish. I can't resume it where I'm at right now because there is no WI FI access so I will have to wait until I go home. Maybe because the software is updating it is causing it to time out? But then again why are you having the same problem! UGH frustrating!!

Forgot, it's an ipad 3rd gen wifi.
Ok guys, made an appointment at the Apple store to go in and see what's up but I never made. My daughter asked if I did a hard reset and I wasn't sure what that was. So she held down the power button and home screen button at the same time until it rebooted. Problem solved! Now videos play on the video tube app and on youtube.com. Wow easy fix and Im happy.

I Tried to backup my contacts but I got all the 1'st contacts list in the 2'nd Iphoe it was download from cluod to both.
How I can make sure the icloud backup will be separetly between both ?

Can anyone explain what I need to do. I am buying a new computer, need to de-authorise my old computer and then put the library on a new windows computer. I have my library backed up to the cloud for which I pay extra. I am not at all technical so if anyone could give me idiot instructions I would much appreciate it. Finding the instructions from apple assume I know basic,s and that confuses me!

not sure why it would keep trying to connect.
First I'd look in Finder on the "Go" menu up top as "Connect to Server" and see if Rick-Pc was listed in there and remove it from the list.
