My iPad Air with Wifi has been stolen. What can i do?

My ipad has been stolen. Is there any way to block it so that the thief also cannot use it by the time it is tracked? I don't remember whether i ahve activated Find My iPad feature on the iPad. Please help me.

    Oh no..sorry to hear .  Read about the "find my mac feature" if you had it enabled: http://www.apple.com/icloud/features/find-my.html.  Also, read this: Reporting a lost or stolen Apple product.  Other then this and filing a report with your local authorities, there isn't much more you can do.
