Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

I have iPad3, iPhone3GS and iTouch all set up with latest software. I sync with a Sony VAIO and the sync is fine and complete with the iPad and iTouch. The iPhone refuses to allow syncing of Outlook Notes from laptop to iPhone. On both other devices the sync of Outlook Notes and everything else works fine. I have follwed other blog suggestions and erased/added accounts, checked that there are not any Notes with no data or headings and all the other ideas but to no avail. The difficulty is only with Notes syncing to the iPhone, works fine with iPad and iTouch.
What do I do next ?The apple store fixed it for me. They basically said I had too many "calendar" sources checked. They eliminated all but the calendar "from my PC". When I open the iPhone calendar, and click on the upper left calendar button, only one calendar shows up (from my PC). iCloud calendar is off, google calendar off, etc.

1. No, she cannot connect her iPhone to her iPad to sync music. It has to go through iTunes.
2. You can set up two accounts on your MacBook Pro. When she logs into the MBP with her name and password, she has her own library. She can back up her iPhone and iPad to that Library. Anything she bought from iTunes will still be authorized for that computer. Besides, she can have her own privacy that way. -

I'm staying at my house in Peru, South America. From my PC laptop I can see my neighbor's wifi service network, but I also have my mini iPad and I can not figure out why I can't get any wifi connection from my area. Is there a setting I need to do?
Yes, I did try to go on my settings>wifi and was waiting for any wifi signals to pick up, but nothing shows up. But on my PC I get a whole list of networks to choose from. Regarding my neighbor, I already have her password that is why I was able to get it on my PC, the problem is that the mini Ipad is not picking any signal neither can it locate me when I go to maps.

My Mac laptop has two email accounts. Both accounts are set up to be received on an iPad and iTouch without any problems, but only one email's contacts list is available. How do I sync both contacts lists? I have synced through iTunes and the "info" tab. It does not provide a checkbox. It says next to "sync contacts" that my contacts are being synced with my iPod touch over the air from iCloud.
If they are, it's only from the one account, not both email accounts.You should be able to merge the contacts from the PC with the contacts on the iPad when you sync this information from the info tab of iTunes. You have to import his contacts into an address book on the PC (sorry, I'm not a Windows user) and then you can sync them from that address book into the contacts app on the iPad.

Our picture transfer from iphone, ipads and or Sony DSC-W150 camera ended when we changed int providers from xfinity to frontier. All attempts to troubleshoot have not corrected problem. The only changes to the system that was functioning properly are Fios int service and router. All apple components are using the fios router. Can anyone Help get us up and running again? Thanks

If WiFi, have you changed the WiFi encryption method or WiFi password? If so, each device need the new information netered into it manually to get onto your "new" WiFi Network. -
while using my aftermarket (Brookstone) IPAD 2 key board the circular search icon never stops moving (setting tab, "Bluetooth" connect)...is that because the Bluetooth is always in the "search" mode while the keypad is in use?
This is the same experience I see with both my iPad and iPhone. Doesn't seem to cause battery drain, so I just don't worry about it. My bluetooth devices work and if yours do as well, just don't worry about it.

I have an apple ID which I use to sign into icloud for my iPad and iPhone.But when I use the same ID for setting up iCloud on my Macbook it says INCORRECT ID or password, try again. I tried changing my passwords several times but it does not work for the macbook.
You will have to provide the correct password to delete the existing account, if you have tried but are not getting the password reset email, contact Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click More Products and Services>Apple ID>Other Apple ID Topics>Lost or forgotten Apple ID password.

I hooked up new iMac to wireless network and now iPad and iPhone do not work using wireless. They did before hooking up the iMac. I am using a Netgear N300 router. Also my Netgear ethernet/homeplug for wireless TV internet no longer works. Any ideas? I have tried unplugging, restarting, and resetting. No luck! Thanks!

Is the status light green?
Your Airport device may be in Bridge Mode.
Airport Utility 6:
Open Airport Utility, select the Airport Express and click Edit. Navigate to the Network tab and change Router Mode to DHCP and NAT. Then click Update on the bottom right.
Airport Utility 5:
Open Airport Utility and click Manual Setup. Navigate to the Internet icon and change Connection Sharing to Share a Public IP Address. Then click Update on the bottom right. -

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)

4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

I own a new iPad and a MacBook Pro. An Apple store assistant changed my Apple ID on my iPad, and the new ID showed up in the iCloud setting on the iPad. However on my Mac laptop the iCloud still shows my old ID, so there is no synching of documents going on between the iPad and the laptop. What do I do?
On the mac's system preferences: click the iCloud icon, then "sign out" button. After, you can enter the new ID.
