My iPad can not still sending e-mails after several informations on the internet forums
Who can help me. I have tried many options from the internet to get my iPad connected with my outgoing e-mail but nothing helps. I changed everything SSL on and off changed the port into. 587,25 or 225. What do I wrong? Provider is Tele2 with Versatel SMTP.

1) Check the battery condition using a program like the widget iStatPro (free). If the battery health is less than 80% then Apple have a free replacement program for this.
2) Switch the machine off and disconnect the power supply. Remove the battery and leave out for several minutes - to allow complete discharge of all electronic components, I think. Then re-instal the battery, etc and restart. I'm not 100% clear on all steps in this procedure but it provides a reset which sometimes resolves problems at least temporarily.
3) Disconnect all peripherals and see how it works. One of these might be calling for more power than it should.

Can a vi. send data to another .vi when ONLY the internet is between?
I seem to have hit a hurdle.
- I have one computer behind a Firewall at a university. This computer has a MIO-16E card in it. No administrative privileges to run datasocket server.
- I have another computer(laptop)with an E series MIO that I have full privileges on, but project requirements only allow me to find wireless connection points so there is only the internet as a medium between the two.
- If possible, I would like to pass a one way data stream from the university(UT).vi side to the Laptop .vi. By I could accept the dataflow in the other direction.
Things I have tried: I can do Remote Panel where the UT machine controls the laptop (good); but, if scenario is switched, the laptop cannot use Remote Panel to control the UT .vi. Of course web browsers and User interfaces do very little for me since the DAQ and control signals will be unmanned.
If someone has experience on how to make one .vi can send data to another .vi using just the internet, I would truly appreciate some advice. And, to be honest, I am solely a hardware individual and have not figured out how/what to setup for this experiment.

If your labtop has a well known IP address/name you could always create a little TCP/IP server in LabVIEW and run it on that computer. Then have the university computer regularly try to connect to that labtop computer and on success start streaming the data you want to the server. The server then will receive the data and do something with it.
Take a look at the VI examples in examples/comm/tcp.llb. Especially the Simple Data Client.vi and Simple Data Server.vi might be interesting for you.

A few things to try. Any one or a combo mayhelp
Reset your iPad.
Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. Then plug it back in and see if it is seen now.
Try a different USB port
Reboot your computer
If you have a PC:
If that doesn't fix it, go into the control panel, add/remove programs. Uninstall iTunes, apple Mobile device service, apple application support.
Then redownload and reinstall iTunes. then try again. -

Yes, but you should consider this.
A: Laptops usually last only about 4 years.
So if you take your investment into the machine + add any software that can't be transferred to a new machine and divide that by 4, you'll get the per year value.
Take that and estimate how many years of value you have left, then judge if the repair is going to be worth getting that remaining few years left or not.
For instance if you have $2800 invested in a machine, that's $700 a year and it's 3 years old, that means it's likely to have only $700 of value left, so it makes little sense to spend a lot to get that remaining $700. Sell it for parts and apply the funds to a new machine.
I suspect you upgraded a older machine to 10.7 and it likely killed it.

hello. I can not configure my major mail account at Mac Mфail - other accounts such as Hotmail and Gmail are working great. Also, I am using that major account at iPhone and iPad with no problem. I had contacted mail provider - we had followed step by step all the settings,, they are correct, and I was suggested to use another mail program. Why, for God's sake I should use different programs for different mail accounts? Anyone, had the same problem?

When Outlook donwload the e-mail from the server the IPAD can not dowload
I have a google acoount.
I configured the e/mail in mi Laptop using microsoft outlook (POP), and also configured the same email account in my IPAD (Also POP)...even if I configure in the google mailbox and in the Outlook (tools, account settings, more setings, advance)and mark the option "leave a copy if messages on the server" and "remove from the server after "7" days" the problem exist.
When Outlook download the message first, the IPAD can not dowload... is it like IPAD doesnt see the message... dont appears any wrong message... just refresh but doesnt appear anythig.
When I download first in my IPAD, everything is ok and Outlook see the message at anytime...
I hope you can give me the solution for it.
Thankstoday, i noticed that when i try to log into my gmail from my IPAD or from the IPHONE, i get message that says, username or password is incorrect, but when i log into the GMAIL website and open the email it opens normally without any problem, noticed that yesterday, everything were normal in my ipad and my iphone and i could check my email normally from these devices. this problem also, transfered to my macbook pro, i cant open the gmail from it. I checked the setting in all of these devices and there were nothing weird about them, username and password are correct as well.

I can not view ANY videos on Vimeo, I have 'reset' the Ipad, original IOS 5, cleared the history and cookies, I haves changed the DNs number to 8.8.8.8, I have worked on this for 3 days now, HELP!!!!
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

When trying to send E-mail via AOL i get the message "rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying" I have checked settings as per answers to similar question
From which account does the email not send? When sending from an account, the iPad will first try to use the aoutgoing server for that account. If it can't it will try the other accounts listed.in the setting on the iPad for that account. It soulds like the server for the account is not working and that the alternate server is resjecting the messag since it did not originate ffrom the account associated with that server, That is to prevent sending spam.

Can not get my voice mail while in canada
Hello i can not get my voice mail while in canada.. help call forwarding is off.. when i dial my 10 digit number and hit send it says call ended.... but as soon as i cross back into the us it works just fine .. all was good till approx 6 weeks ago.. i have not added any thing or removed any thing either.
While in Montreal PQ I don't receive voice mail notifications and *VM does not work. However if I dial my ten digit phone number I can retrieve my voice mail.
Also when I get to my hotel I can dial my phone and retrieve that way.
Another way is to use the backdoor Verizon voicemail number then follow the prompts to enter your cell number and password code.
It is not toll free but I have never been charged for using it.
Of course I don't know if it even is still available. -
My Iphone and Ipad will not pick up my new email messages..for the last few days...I have tried deleteling the account (a number of times..) and setting the account back up? and it still only picks up the old messages? Anyone else having tis problem? Any ideas how to fix it?

I used migration to send photos form my Mac Book to my I Mac now i get an error message "iPhoto can not be opened because of a problem" Check with the developer to make sure iPhoto works with this version of Max OSX. You may need to install any available updates or reinstall IPhoto.
I tried installing Iphoto it said it was downloaded successfully. I still get the error messafe, and can not open any photos of program, any suggestions?What version of iPhoto do you have on the Macbook and on the iMac? What systems are you running on the Macbook and on the iMac?
