Expand on this issue I would be glad to assist? Have you recently added a new SIM? A restore may be the fix needed here. Or try reset network settings.

Nope. You cannot connect sim cards to iPads. You can insert them into the iPad's sim tray if it has one. Which if its is a Wifi only model it wil not have the tray nor the cellualr hardware to do anytihng with it. -

If your iPad does not look like this on the side, you have the Wi-Fi only iPad.

Try a new SIM card.
If your phone was hacked to unlock it, it will require a SIM card from the carrier to which it was originally locked. -

Why is it, ever since we all have updated our software everyone's getting trouble with their SIM card? My iPad is not even reading my sim, sort this out, am on a 2 year sim contract and I've gotta pay for it when I can't even use it Bcoz of your mistake
The phone was originally locked to AT&T in the US and was hacked to allow it to be used on another network. Restoring the phone has re-locked it to AT&T.
AT&T does NOT unlock iPhones for any reason. You can't use that phone except on AT&T.

I am trying to store movies on sd card from traveling. I want to play movie from camera card reader.i transferred the movie to sd card, I change the name to DSCF... and put in new folder created by my camera. the movie loads to ipad just fine but the ipad wont open it. what am I missing or it it not possible?
In THEORY, you can. However there are a lot of hoops to jump through. And the last time I played with it was when my device was running iOS7.
You put the movie file on an SD card. Follow the naming convention. Give it a file name of 8 characters. Put it in a folder named DCIM.
You can't watch the movie off the SD card. You have to import the movie onto your device (so you need plenty of free room) watch then delete.
What you may be running into is if those movies were downloaded from iTunes or some other source they may have digital rights management on them prohibiting you moving them around and watching them like you're trying to do. -

You may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPad a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPad (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages. -

4G is a cellular service and requires a Sim. Wifi has nothing to do with 4G.
Contact your cellular carrier of Choice and get a Sim with a cellular plan if you need to have internet access where there is no Wifi.
