Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:

   1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
       other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.

       until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
              * If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
                Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
                release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
       device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
       let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
       charge, and then start with step 2 again.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
       When this screen appears you can release the Home button:

Hi yes that works well when the new ipad hasn't been used. Trouble new one has been used for two months or more, has lots photos email etc etc. I am worried that these will go. When we did iPhone thru same process finished up with two of most things pics and emails. The emails alone were over 2 thousand and wife reluctant to delete them all. I would and just sort pics. Any other ideas

You can only update the iPad to iOS 5.1.1and you cannot go any higher. If you never updated that high, you can do so by using iTunes on your computer. You will have to connect the iPad to your computer with the cable and launch iTunes
You can read more here. Make sure that you read the section about using iTunes. The article starts off with using the Settings on the iPad for WiFi updates. That only works with the iPad 2 and higher that is already running iOS 5.

2. Try another wall socket
3. Try another cable (make sure it's an original Apple cable)
4. Try another charger (make sure it's an original Apple charger)

I did a raccheck on my new installed RAC nodes. OS is linux redhat, oracle version is 11.2.0.3.
raccheck results has one : fast_start_mttr_target has NOT been changed from default.
Our existing unmigrated system has not set up fast_start_mttr_target.
Do we need to setup this parameter?

The fast_start_mttr_target enables you to specify the number of seconds the database takes to perform crash recovery. You need to set optimal value.

iCloud Mail is down. Has been for a while. I would hope this will be resolved soon.

Your Ipad isn't infected -- it is very likely the router that you are going through to get internet service, has had its DNS servers changed.
The message you got is legit. Google announced they would notify people here: http://googleonlinesecurity.blogspot.com/2012/05/notifying-users-affected-by-dns changer.html Go search news.google.com for DNS changer. Your ISP may also have been trying to notify you over the last few months as well.
Check the DNS server settings on your router. The malware sometimes changes the DNS server settings on your router. If you find the DNS servers on your router have been changed to the bad ones, change them to something you trust (your ISP's, Google's etc) and then change the password on your router. If there are other computers in your house, check those as well - you might have a pc that is the source of the infection. Make sure your router is secured so only you can get on it, not your neighbors.

How do I prove that signed and finalized PDF has not been changed?

My organisation would like to use the PDF signing facility that comes with Adobe Reader. Users will be working on Windows 8.1 touchscreen devices and they will ask clients to sign documents using a stylus on the screen. I have been asked how we would know if the PDF has been changed after it has been signed.

I have heard of this possibly happening after insurance claims but nothing coming from a sealed box. I'm so frustrated by this as my touch screen doesn't work sometimes and this is causing big problems trying to answer calls. I have only had the phone since August. That change is not the issue, does not need "fixing", and is not the source of your slowdowns. If it were a real issue, Apple would be providing a fix for it every time (else the genius Bar would be swamped with visits to fix that).
Please describe the SYMPTOMS you see in the greatest detail you can so that others can help you determine exactly what might be happening to your Mac. Slowdowns happen for dozens of different reasons.

CD Insert with mosaic is not printing, just the text prints....never a probem before. Has this been changed?

The CD insert selection of MOSAIC does not print album artwork, only the song title text. What is wrong? This has never been a problem before.

I see you're having print issues. I would like to help!
There can definitely be compatibility issues between a 2.0 USB device and a 3.0 connection port. I'd recommend plugging into a 2.0 port.
I'd recommend starting with a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I'd also suggest downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor.

Try giving it a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let it reboot and see if that helps.
If not, contact your local apple store and make an appointment for them to look at it.
