How to solve a frozen/crash iPad or restore it?
Seems like my iPad cant login into home screen (now only appears the apple logo).
When i press home+power, i connect into iTunes and detect the iPad for restore.
(in the iPad screen appears apple logo & usb cable)
And while iTunes download the firmware, disconnected while there is 55 min left.
After that, I can't connect my iPad to iTunes.... (now only appears the apple logo).

When restarting my iPad 1 freezes on the apple logo. It even does when I try and do a reset by holding power and the hold button for 10 seconds.
If the reset doesn't work, you have to force the iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost. -

Have you tried rebooting your iPad?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that does not work, you can try restoring your iPad iOS Software.

Make sure that you read the article all the way through and pay attention to the last part that talks about using recovery mode. -

I turned my iPad off the other day now its freezing on the apple logo. Its still freezing now since about 6 hours, I tried to reset it (home+turn off button)...no effect and I tried to reset it with itunes but itunes isnt showing up my device. I tried to let the battery run out but its taking really long or its just not running out of battery.
I really need help.

It wont turn off. It will reset by holding down the home and power button but only goes back to the apple logo again. Have tried plugging into Itunes

I wanted to erase my ipod so i went on settings, then general and then i erased my ipod
but when the apple logo comes up, it just freezes right there and i try to reboot it but it keeps freezing

I have rebooted it at least ten times. I have been unable to get it to connect to itunes too.
Try the iPod Disk Diagnostic refer to this post by tt2. it wont fix your problem but help us troubleshoot with its report. If you is not able to do this, then bring it in to the Apple Store for the Genius to have a look.

Hi, while i was connecting my ipad to my PC, the system prompt me to upgrade ipad version. When i click yes it tried to download but was having error. I terminated and my ipad got hang with the apple logo with the emply downloading symbol. Help!!
You need to put your iPad into recovery mode, follow these instructions.
the iPad (which should NOT be connected to your PC) and hold down the sleep button (on the top of the iPad) and the home button (front of the iPad) at the same time
After about 10-15 seconds, the unit will power off (do not do anything when the "slide to power off" screen appears, just keep holding the buttons)
When the iPad turns back on, you will see the silver Apple appear on the screen. Continue holding down the home button but release the sleep button and immediatly plug the iPad into your computer running iTunes -

Just upgraded my iPad to IOS5 and when the download was completed, a window said that there was an error and it could not restore. Now I have a black screen with the Apple logo and the circle lines. None of the buttons respond. Help, please!!

Maybe this will let the iPad reboot and then you may need to restore again but see if this helps to start the iPad first.

Intermittent problem with cross dissolve and chroma key
