Try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own.

When I use it on my laptop there is no problem the songs and videos are there but when i use the ipod directly they just don't appear... :S

It sounds like the iPod has a software issue. I would try the following troubleshooting tips:
1. Reset the iPod: reset the iPod by holding the sleep/wake and home buttons simultaneously for 10-15 seconds until the screen goes black then shows the Apple logo.
2. Make sure the iPod is on the latest version of the software, if it's not then update it.
3. If the iPod is on the latest version of the software or the software update didn't resolve your issue then restore the ipod to factory settings, which will put a new version of the system software on your iPod.

Are you talking about your lock screen passcode? If so, go into Settings>General>Passcode Lock, and Change one of your Passcodes to match the other.

Try the standard fixes to rule out a software problem:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod
if still problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Guys, do you also encounter the same problem? My facetime screen turns green after 5 minutes of call.

I have the same problem..I am on macbook air 10.8.4 when i call facetime to india the receivers end on ipad sees only a green screen though it works fine if i call within US.the audio is clear but the visual is a green scree.
Now if i call from my iphone to the same ipads same connections work fine.

That will only work if you can set up your BB as a wifi hotspot. If so just connect the iPad to that wifi hotspot as any other wifi network.

How to resolve that problem?

After removal of my last posting I try a censored version of my problem:
I had an important job two days ago.
When I imported the pictures to my old (upgraded from v2) lib the pictures that I exported as JPG were scrambled in blocks. I tried to repair the library - realized that that will last for hours and that would not have been compatible with my timeline for the job :-o
So I cancelled that process. After cancelling all information with albums, projects ... all was gone - only the 50000 pictures remained.
Anyway I had to develop my RAW data - quickly, so I set up a new library. Made some color corrections and simple processes. I was not surprised that I had to wait (too) long - aperture 3 is slow (I have a new macbookPro with 4GB RAM). What really knocked me out was the fact that around 1/3 of the pictures
- Exported as JPG - had the same blocked areas, scrambled quarters, kinda artwork.
I made the job in PS4.
My last backup of Aperture 2 library is January 28th.
I never made a backup of aperture 3 lib. It was my fear that I would "write" all the problems I had with aperture 3 on my backup.
I alread contacted German support a few weeks ago. They said that a new library would help. As I see now: my main problem, the scramble JPG export is not resolved by that.
*What is my starting point?*
I have a System 10.6.3
Aperture 3.0.1
A backup (made within Aperture 2) dated from jan 28th.
A "flat" library aperture 3 without any structure I made but with all the pictures I added since Jan 28th.
What would you suggest? Do you think I have a chance to get Aperture 3 running correctly?

I set back to think about it. What to do?
I set the _precondition that aperture 3 can work without any flaws_. If there are any doubts I would have to return to the working solution aperture 2.
*My to do list*
• buy a big external drive and make a complete duplication of the present internal HD
• open aperture 3 and export all pitures made since jan 28th to external HD
• start from system 10.6 dvd and make a clean install erasing internal HD first
• boot then and make all updates on system
• install aperture 2, make all updates
• recover from last aperture 2 backup
• export projects separately to a HD
• install upgrade to aperture 3
• make new database - erase the old
• update to aperture 3.0.2
• import all pictures
? shall I install all other programs after the aperture process or after the clean system install??
hope this will work. What do you think?
I think it will last 2 to 3 days.

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure.

I got a IPad 2 for my birthday. It is preloadet with songs and photos and some apps. No I want to by some new apps but it still is under the ID of the person who gave it to me. If I sync it with my ITunes it will deleet all the songs, pictures and all the apps I got on it as a present.
Is there anny way to use my ID on the IPad with out deleting all the things I have on the IPad?
The IPad has been synct with Itunes on a PC that is 9000 miles away from me and I am using a apple wich I use to sync my Iphone.

Apps cannot be transferred between seperate users accounts. The person who gave you the iPad with apps pre-loaded on it actually was breaking the law by doing so. It's effectively software piracy.
If someone wants to give you an app or music, there are proper methods of "gifting" items in the AppStore.
If you want to use the iPad as your own you'll need your own iTunes Store account, and to sync it with your own computer. That means wiping what's already on it (the apps and music owned by this other person) and starting again with your own legally obtained content.
