Hi~
I bought a iPad 2 weeks ago in New York for business trip and I am here in south korea.
My iPad has a fault of display screen. It must be 2 point of dead pixels.
How can i get the service? or change it? or fix it?
Unfortunately in Korea apple store they doesn't sell a iPad so I think it's is a problem. and also i couldn't make a call to apple engineer. (can only canada & US)

That may not be true, Apple specifically state in the iPad warranty :
"Apple may restrict service to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the hardware product."

You could have a hardware issue, but try this and see if it helps.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Hello, iPad data extending beyond the display screen borders. Model MC770LL/A OS7.1(11D167) I have performed a hard reset and it did not appear to make any changes. I have an iPad2 with no issues and compared General settings to making them the same. Preformed hard reset no change. General, Accessibility, Zoom = off, some game applications for this iPad cannot be used because the application extends beyond the usable screen border.

Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.

On a different thread, someone suggested dropping the iPad on its back onto a carpeted floor. I did this from about two feet high with no effect. Then tried from about 3.5 feet high, and VOILA the red disappeared! Many others reported same miraculous fix. Hope it works for you!

You can try to reset your iPad:

Can I get the notebook replaced / screen replaced if i have a single dead pixel?

Hi,I have a 2 days old notebook, and there's a stuck pixel (red) on the display.It's an expensive notebook, costs more than a thousand dollars, and HP website tells me I cannot get it fixed or replaced if i have just a single bad pixel.I'm HATING my Envy for this. I'm typing this on my old notebook, the very sight of that ugly stuck pixel is getting me irritated. Sure you can ignore it, but once you know there's a problem, your eyes always tend to go to the problem place. Is there a way I can get it replaced or repaired under warranty? I went for the 3 years extended warranty option, and now found out a dead pixel is not covered. Sucks.

IMac 8.1 dual core intel 21.5" 2007/8 has vertical streaks on display screen, what is the cause

my display has verticle streaks tat seem to be on everything, they are not differently colored than the background, just spaced about every 2.5-3 inches with a light dark light band space of about 2 inches and then again, repeated across the screen. It shows up on everything, but is more visible on some content than others. is it a video card going or what?

Thanks a lot! If i am going to spend a lot to get it fixed, i think I will wait a while and maybe get a new Imac or maybe a mini mac. with a separate monitor. I do love my imac, and before we got our macs we had many problems with viruses, crashed hard drives & various other problems. With the Imac, even though my husbands and mine are supposed to be the same they have suttle differences. but I have had a problem with the computer I have on warrenty it needed something replaced, Then this last fall we had 3 power outages in a row. They are on surge protectors, but even so, they shut themselves off, or the power did like a cold boot. after the power came back on, I turned it on, and then shortly thereafter the power went off again. Thensame scenario. and one more power failure. i think it was not the surge as I don;t think there would or could have been one, but because it was basically a cold boot 3 times in a row and the computer did not shut down properly, it crashed and would not come on. My husband, worked on it for a week and finally got a blue screen, and was able to get it going enough to format the hard drive. and re install everything. But a lit of files would not reinstall. I had a small 1 terrabyte backup and it was plugged in and programmed to cycle every day at certain times. Well to make a long story short, it did not like the cold boot any more than the computer. we ere able to save about 1/2 of my files. part of which was my photos. I had had 23,000 photos, and now i had 87,000, unorganized photos with many duplicates. it is a slow proceedure, but I have got that # down to 60,000 so far. I am missing my best folder I had with some genealogy info & other stuff in it. Was my personal folder. It would not load into the re done computer. but I still have the hard drive in case things change. Make an appointment at your local apple store and have them check it out. If the screen or guts inside area dead it's beyond a user fix.

I uploaded iOS 7 and the ipad came up with a black screen with pictures of iTunes logo and power cord. It wouldn't turn off or respond to any actions. A terrifying moment. I followed some suggestions from these discussions, connected iPad to Macbook with iTunes open and prayed. It took 3 separate times to completely reset the iPad, because of several "errors" that would occur throughout the lengthy process. This necessity to completely reset my iPad (and it is very shakily alive now, I fear) was a direct result of uploading the new OS. I am furious. What is going on with Apple? I see this has happened to people for quite a while now. Good Lord.
