My iPad has a restricitons code on it which I cannot remember. I have wiped it completley on my computer, but I backed it up before hand. Nothing will work - I can't get my apps back!
I really don't know what to do. I went into KnowHow to sort it - they backed it up for me in there. Now when I am trying to re-download everything back onto it - it is saying there is a billing problem! What do I do!!!!!!! Also I still cannot delete any apps. I NEED HELP!!!!
when you back up a dvice it backs up the settings as well, so by restoring your ipad from the backup you used your just putting the passcode back on the dvice.

The personal hotspot is not an app or an icon; it is a setting. You must first have your carrier provision it, then you turn it on in settings. Most carriers charge extra for tethering.

You do know tht if you created a new Apple ID - that is different than changing the Apple ID. Apps are always tied to the ID that was used to make the purchase. If the old ID is popping up, it seems like that ID is rid to the apps indicating that you created a new ID. Of course, I could be wrong or misunderstanding what you're saying as well.
If you go to Settings>iTunes & App Store, tap your old ID and sign out and then sign in with the new ID, that should be all that you need to do, if you changed the ID. If you created a new ID, that will not work. -

You can try this first and see if it helps
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
If the iPad still is not recognized in iTunes you can try recovery mode. I hope that you have a backup that you can restore from.
Recovery Mode Instructions
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore iPad. -

Yesterday evening Norton ran a scan and found a threat, not saying it was Mozilla Thunderbird I ran it. Following that all my inbox emails had disappeared. All other emails are still there, including trash and folders.
I have recd emails in inbox from midnight this morning.
None of the previous options offered have helped.You may be able to recover something following these instructions.

Otherwise a restoring a recent profile backup is your best bet.
For the future don't let your anti-virus s/w scan your Thunderbird profile folder. It won't do you any good, as you found out the hard way. -
ever since i uploaded the new firefox i cant get my texts and pictures back to the size i had them before. ive tried everything i could think of to get this problem fixed. now my texts are running into each other because the texts windows are so small and the texts are so large. i love firefox but ever since i uploaded this new one i cant use it.

I have Windows XP and downloaded Firefox 4.0.1. After it was installed 5/7/11, I noticed all my Yahoo search bar apps were missing. Rebooting did not help. Hold the home and power button down until your phone restarts. If that doesn't work, backup and restore using iTunes.

i accidentally deleted iPhoto on my mac and it says the the app was downloaded with a different apple id and now i can't get the app back without paying $14.99
Did you install it yourself are somebody else for you?
If you installed them yourself, but do not remember which AppleID you used, try all AppleIDs you might have used in turn.
If somene else set up your Mac for you, ask the person to reinstall it. If you bought the mac second hand, the previous owner needs to contact Apple to transfer the iLife apps. If that is not possible, delete the apps that you cannot update and buy them using your AppleID. -
Okay so about four days ago my ipad says it has apps to update but whenever i go to the update apps page it will not load and i have tried rebooting signing out but nothing will work, any suggestions?
If you are getting the blank app update screen, many, many people are having this problem over the last couple of days. It is a problem that Apple must fix now.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this. It is a workaround only until then.
