My ipad has been killed by 7.02 update! Help
I finally managed to get the update to actually download. My ipad wont start, stop, make a noise nothing. I get a larger than the usual apple logo in center for about 40 seconds then blank again. It doesnt even appear to be recharging. Question - as it took about two weeks to download and verify and verify and ages to do whatever else it did whilst i was patiently waiting - what if half way thru the actual update the battery ran out? It was fully charged at start but I begin to think that there were problems. When i plug in with itunes running it doesnt recognise it. Ive done tech tests in iTunes and it says ALL connection tests were sucessful. The iTunesHelper is not working? is this what recog the ipad, phone, pod? in services? It tells me ipad running firmware vr 7.0.2. so yes done. Then Most Recent Device Not Currently Connected - it was still connected. This logo what does it mean please and how do i get iTunesHelper running and stay running - had once before cant remember what i did. Cheers my ipaddys and may all your trubls be little ones x
If your iPad is not recognized by iTunes anymore, then you need to restore your iPad using recovery mode:

By the way, if you don't want your battery to run down, simply plug the iPad into the charger, which itself should be plugged into a mains outlet.

My IPAD has been disabled as I lost it in the office and it was just recently returned to me. It says on the screen that IPAD DISABLED and says please try again in 22,641,304 minutes. Can you please advise how to enable this as the computer I am using now (MAC RETINA) is not the original computer that the IPAD was synced on.

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

My whole family shares the same MacBook and itunes library.
For awhile my ipad has been syncing other peoples music to my ipad, and when I check on itunes these albums aren't even selected.
Someone please help me!!!! How do I stop the unselected music from being synced to my ipad? (and for specific music, my ipad won't let me delete some music right from my music app)My wife, daughter and I all shared one iTunes library on one Mac and synced 6 different devices and never had problems selecting exactly what we want to sync to each device.
Even though you do not have these particular songs or bums selected to sync, do you have "Sync only checked songs and Videos" in the Summary Tab of iTune? If you don't have that option selected, makes sure that you so check it before you sync again.
You should be able to swipe across songs in the songs tab of the music app - Swiping from Right to Left - and that will bring up the Red Delete Button. You cannot delete entire albums but holding down on the icon to bring up the X on the album icon. That doesn't work in iOS. 7.
If you are seeing songs in the Music app with the cloud icon on the right hand side, those songs are not on your iPad but are in iCloud and can be downloaded if you want to do so. If you do not want to see those songs, go to Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Show All>Music>Off. -
My iPad has been syncing for 18 hours / back up process since I tried to work with the iCloud. Some items ie., contacts are synced to my new iPhone 4si and also books from the app store and also kindle stuff is okay. No photos yet. iPad has 5 gb of photos on it. What happens if I stop the back up/sync process before it completes? Does it mess up my iPad??? Thanks

My IPAD has been asking me to bckup my info onto icloud for over 2 weeks. i was travelling and was unable to do the same. now that i am trying to back up the ipad using the ipad device.....the reminder notification on my screen is locked.......i cant get rid of it.....as long as the notification remains, i cannot even switch off the ipad or access any other screen or icon....i have now logged on to the icloud site using my pc but have been unable to locate where i may be able to sync my data remotely so that perhaps the notification on my ipad dissappears......any help? is there another way to do this?

My iPad has been stolen. Someone broke into my house on Tuesday. I have already tried locking it through icloud. I have reported this to the authorities but they cannot do much unless I give them the serial number to the iPad. With the serial number they can put it into a database and send that inormation to pawn shops, so i the theie tries to pawn it, the pawn shop employeee can convscate the iPad and hand it over to the authorites. I need the serial number to report it to the authorities. I dont have the box it came in or the receipt and its not on my itunes on the computer because I didnt use it or music, just pictures. Can someone please help??? btw, some words are misspelled becasue the letter that comes ater the letter E, doesnt work on my keybord.

Hi there, ok so my ipad has been either turning off or just locking itself for sometime now but last night it turned itself off and when i tried to turn it back on it just came up with a blank screen with the back light. When i put it on the charger the sound of it charging happenes but nothing else. I hav tried resetting it but as i am not very savvy with all this stuff i thought i would get some advise before doing anything else. it anyone can help me that would be fantasic
thank youIf a reset doesn't work, try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -

You can only restore the backup to another iOS device. You can't download it to your computer. Also be aware that Apple reserves the right to delete iCloud backups after 180 days of inactivity so make sure you do this before that. Also, you can't restore camera roll photos from a backup to an iPad. They would have to be restored to another iPhone, or iPod touch.

Apple can't help you find/lock a lost or stolen device. If you've can't locate it via Find My iPhone, or http://icloud.com on a computer, then you won't be able to try and locate it or remotely wipe it.
You've reported it to the police ? You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc. and contact your carrier.

Why would Fireworks suddenly freeze on launch after working fine?
I can't get past the welcome screen before the color wheel shows up and the program freezes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, running disk first aid, etc. Other programs like DreamWeaver launch fine, so this is very confusing.
