My ipad has been switched off since 2 week of no charging..now wen i kept charging it first displayed charging symbol then it became blank.after a whole day charging also its showing blank i holded home n sleep buttons even but not even logo appears.

The type of battery that's in your iPad is quite resilient. However, letting that battery run down completely, and leaving it that way for a few weeks is a quick way of destroying it's useful service life. I suspect that you may need to have it replaced.

i have a white screen and i tried rebooting the ipod touch by holding the home and sleep button simoltaneously but it still jus tappears white. i also attempted to connect my ipod to itunes but my itunes wont even recognize my ipod touch 4g. What should I do now?
Just let the battery drain until the screen shuts off. When you charge it back up it should boot up normally.

Hi, My ipad has been stolen and I set up the erase data function in i cloud "find my device". I then changed my mind and wanted to change this to locate my device rather. When I deleted the "erase" option it removed my ipad from the find my device list. Can I restore it back onto the list?
Once a wipe is sent, it cannot be stopped. You will not be able to track your iPad after that.

Hi there, ok so my ipad has been either turning off or just locking itself for sometime now but last night it turned itself off and when i tried to turn it back on it just came up with a blank screen with the back light. When i put it on the charger the sound of it charging happenes but nothing else. I hav tried resetting it but as i am not very savvy with all this stuff i thought i would get some advise before doing anything else. it anyone can help me that would be fantasic
thank youIf a reset doesn't work, try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -
My sons iPhone 5 was stolen out of his blazer pocket while in a games lesson, this was last period and on return to get changed find that someone from his class had stolen his phone from his zipped pocket. Straight away I went onto the find my iPhone on my phone and it has been showing offline since the phone was stolen. The phone had a password set on it and I have notified the police, school and also our carrier. The phone has been offline now for 32 hours, would this mean they have been unable to access the phone and switched it off? Is it possible for the phone to be jail broken while this password has been set. I am most angry that this has happened and the changing rooms are always locked while the lessons take place, so this is someone within my sons class that has stolen the phone. Being a Friday And last lesson the phone is long gone now but I'm hoping with the security measures we have put in place with the pass code etc.... That they won't be able to unlock the phone to use it. The phone was only 2 days old as my son had only just upgraded :(
All you may infer is the device hasn't been turned on where it can connect to Wi-Fi.
The phone may be jailbroken if there is no lock passcode to prevent access. However, the phone can be completely erased and restored as new. In this case you will have no ability to locate it or prevent it from being jailbroken.

My Ipod Touch has been frozen for almost two weeks now. I have truning it off by useing the sleep and top button and it is still not working. I have been pluging it in my laptop and it is sycning but still did noting. What should I do?
It seems as your iOS Software Is most likely corrupt. Try doing a software restore in iTunes by clicking in your iPod and clicking the Restore button. This will restore your iPod to factory settings. So back up your Music, Videos, and purchases before restoring.

My iPad has been going crazy since the iOS 5.0.1 update.
Touch screen seems to be selecting things on its own and it types on its own. Pages in iBook turn by themselves and the screen keeps flashing. Sometimes, it won't let me move beyond a certain point on the screen. Happens about once an hour. Turning it off helps, but it usually starts again. Any way to go back to ios 5.0? Any help would be appreciated.
LaurieDowngrading the iOS is not supported. Have you tried closing all apps completely and doing a reset and seeing if that helps ?
To close all apps, from the home screen (i.e. not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
To reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

Thank youSometimes the reset can take 20 seconds or longer. How long have you held it? I would just hold it until you see the logo. Is the battery charged? If the battery has had a chance to discharge, you will have to plug the phone in to charge. If it gets to a point, it may turn on by itself. I would use the main charger for this. Also, if this method doesn't work, and it is not being recognized by the computer you may need to make an appointment with the Genius Bar as there could be a hardware defect causing this problem.

Help. My old @us.army.mil email address was terminated by the army. I used that address to register my first apple id account on my iPad. I can't remember my original Apple ID number and if I ask to reset my password, Apple sends the reset link to my old non-working email address. I have a new gmail address and a new Apple ID number associated with that address. How do I get my iPad to use my new gmail address and new apple ID number? Remember, I can't log out of my old account because I can't remember the password. Amd Apple will only reset the password by sending a link to my old, non functioning army email account. Lastmy ipad has been downloading ios 8 for about 13 hours now. what should i do?
last night at 6 I decided to download IOS 8. When I woke up this morning, 13 hours later, it still had the black screen with the apple logo on it, not downloaded. Can anyone help me? Does any one else have this problem?
Try reset iPad and continue with update.
Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down together until you see the Apple Logo.
