since updating my iphone 3gs software it has developed the so called "white screen of death" this happened immediately after software install. It has never been dropped or damaged. I have tried the solution which seems to pop up most of holding down the power button and the home button for 10 seconds but this hasnt helped at all. Actually don't hold down the Power button, but instead hold down the Home button until you see a graphic on the iPhone screen telling you to connect to iTunes. This is putting your iPhone into a Forced Recovery Mode.

Plug it into an electrical outlet let it sit a few minutes. Then try performing a hard reset, by holding the home button and the lock buttons at the same time until an apple logo appears.

First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not help, set it up as new device, explained here:

Are you able to go back to the store that you bought it from and ask them to activate it properly ? We are working with the InCopy feature (checking in and checking out ICML files).
The problem:
I might have saved a document with an ICML file still checked out.
The question:
Is there a way to find out which document was saved with the ICML file still checked out?
or in other words:
Is there a way to find the document in which an ICML file has NOT been checked IN again before saving the doc?

thank you for your answer and your reasonable recommendation. Unfortunately, this only works when the ICML content is used in one INDD file. In our case, we use ICML content in multiple docs (various manuals with the same safety instructions, warranties, adresses etc.).
So, is there a way to trace back where an ICML has been used?
Is it possible to find out in which document the ICML is still checked out? -

Good morning I received a 25$ itunes card as a gift yesterday, I know it was bought in the target located in 10880 Olson Dr on friday November 30th, but it says that the card has not been activated, currently I dont have the receipt can you please help me
Normally what you should do is go back the retailer from whom you purchased the card and discuss the problem with them. They should either correctly activate the card or give you a new one. Since you have no receipt, though, it's unlikely that Target will help you, so go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

Since I joined creative cloud, I have not been able to sync. Why the difference? Worked good during initial trial.
Also I had installed the Mosaic app for ipad before Lightroom mobile came out and I cannot seem to get rid of it. How can I get mosaic out? I have cancelled, I have deleted, I have looked through the files for visible remnants.The sync count is 60 and static. The total number synced so far is 500+. None have been synced from the ipad except for corrections made there on those already synced.
I have deleted the Mosaic app from all machines and checked the library folder and have contacted the Mosaic tech support and they have discontinued my subscription. I still get mosaic messages on initiating Lightroom and sometimes at closing.
I have not tried to sync fewer yet, but some catalogs that I have tried are smaller numbers. Initially, it did well on good connections. Nothing works on my home connections over satellite. -

Yes, you won't be arrested for shutting it down. Depending on what was being updated, the machine may or may not start up properly (or at all) afterward. If it doesn't, post back for advice.
