You can't keep changing the ID you use with iTunes, you are limited to once every 90 days.

Once a wipe is sent, it cannot be stopped. You will not be able to track your iPad after that.

How do you "accidentaly" upgrade to iOS 5? Are you a registered developer? As I understand, Apple has told developers that they do NOT support downgrading from the Beta. You'll have to go over to the developers forums and see if someone there can help you.
If you're not a registered developer, then congratulations. You are now the proud owner of an iBrick until you either pay to enter the developers program or until the final release comes out in the fall.

Swipe from screen to screen to look for it. It cannot be deleted from the iPad.
You can reset the the home screen layout but that returns the home screen to the original out of the box set up - but it will restore the icon to the home screen.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

Hello, I have an iMac and an iPad 2. one of my kids have an iTouch and the other an iPhone 4S.
When their friends call, it shows up on my iPad 2 and the list of friends is the list of friends for my child
who has the iPhone 4S. To my knowledge, we all have to share an APPLE ID to share music and apps?...
So is that the problem....what happens if we have separate APPLE ID's....?
Even though we are an APple fam, I am still not sure how the whole thing works....
How do we get separate facetimes? Thank you so much in advance.

Actually you can have separate apple ID's for icloud and facetime but use the family one for purchases so you can share your apps, music..
Each owner opens up a Apple ID for only their device(s).. Log into icloud using new apple ID on each device for each person. Hit facetime in settings, and input your new apple id as facetime ID.. Done..
Now go to settings > store and make sure your family account is inputed there on all the devices so you can share your purcahsed music, apps, videos, etc....
I am sharing purcahses with my entire family but we all have separate icloud, facetime, apple ID etc.. Its imperative you have split Apple ID's for icloud otherwise all your phonebooks will mix and match.....
Also as far as iphone goes.. Iphone can be set up to use apple ID to call or phonenumber (by default) So if you facetime a number it will ring only on that phone, if you facetime an apple ID that is on the iphone it will ring on all devices associated with that apple ID

Unused Ipad has been sitting around a long time without being plugged in... when I plug it in nothing happens... help!

Give it time. Half an hour at least. If your battery is totally flat it has to build up some charge before it'll even chirp at you.
Plug it in over night and see what happens. If it's still dead then, you can try a different charger to make sure that's not bad. If that doesn't work, then it may be dead, Jim

You will need to connect the phone to iTunes, like the message said.
The code was tried too many times, and it was locked out for security. This is to prevent stolen phones from being accessed.
If you cannot get the phone to work after you have synced in iTunes, then I would try restoring the phone as a last resort.

MacBook Pro - Hard Drive replaced now external won't allow me to view any of my back ups from my previous hard drive that crashed folders have red circle with minus sign in them and says I don't have permission, how do I get around this?

My MacBook Pro's hard drive failed a little while back and the hard drive was replaced, however all my items on my external were linked to that hard drive apparently, now I can't get into my back up files for my business as I'm getting an error telling me I don't have permission to view the files, I can't figure out how to over ride this setting to get to my stuff for my business which is really NOT GOOD for my clients or the contracts I'm under, does anyone know how to get past this and get the external to work like it is supposed to?

Select the drive and Finder > Get info and at the bottom "ignore permissions on this volume"
You can copy the files, but the ownership on the files still belongs to the other user account, once your done copying, then perform a #6 Reset Users Permissions and that will set all the ownership to that account.

Another method is to copy the entire folder, then change it's permissions.
