Recently, I have encountered a bizzare issue with my iPad mini's touch screen. The left side (portrait orientation) has begun to not function as expected. Namely, random taps occur while my own taps are not registered on the left side, while the right side is just fine. What is most interesting is that this distance from the left side is fixed at precisely 2cm.
Now, I know that this question has been asked about a hundrend times already, but, strangely enough in my case a reboot DOES fix the issue, temporarily anyway. After about 2-6 hours later, the problem reoccurs. This has led me to believe that it is a software issue and not a hardware one, although, that is hard to believe. I installed iOS 7 not too long ago but it has been working just fine (no touch screen bugs on iOS 6.1 whatsoever). Unfortunately, my warranty has expired about 2 weeks ago, with the problem occuring last week, therefore asking at Apple Support is impossible.
Does anyone have any ideas on what this is, and/or how to fix it?
Any support/question/solution is appreciated.
Ps. I will add pictures showing the unresponsiveness of the display if requested. Drawing a line appears as multiple taps on the left side while right side is still a line.

Not normal. Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation. They may work with you on the warranty issue, if the iPad does not show any evidence of being dropped.

These examples are from AmazonS3, but the same happens on Apache.
It looks like a problem with cacheing in Safari. The movie fails to play if Safari includes If-Modified-Since in the first byte range GET request and the server responds with a 304, Not Modified.
Has anyone encountered this problem and found a way to work around it?

I would do that, soon as I'm done with stretching/timing adjustment; thing was I was still 10 seconds from the end when it started acting up. But Just as a safe precaution in case it would do something like that I had already backed up a couple of times so thankfully I don't need to do it all over again!
So, you don't think that "set beat markers" (or something like that) can be locked to beats in MT? For example if I run the "Find and Mark" beats in EV and then use those beats to snap to the closest beat in MT, stretching the file as need be in order to get it there.. ? Maybe I'm dreaming out of this world.. Next time I'll have to force my clients to sing until they sing it dead on right!

My Ipod touch 2gen has problems locking up and not starting

I have a 2gen Ipod Touch that has locked up a few times lately when I was using it. Frozen.
Then some times it would not start at all when I tried to turn it on. .
So I made sure the software was updated and it was at 4.2.1 and it said it was up to date.
So I restored it but it locked up again and at times would not restart. I restored it again once I did get it restarted.
It is still having the same problem. Sometimes when I go to start it won't start so I rehold the two buttons again for 30 seconds and the apple logo appears.
Sometimes it starts with the white apple logo and sometimes it shows that the battery is red (very low).
It doesn't seem to do the same thing each time there is a problem. This has been going on for a week.
It just did it again and I tried to start it but it wouldn't take the 30 second boot so I plugged it in. It took several times of trying the 30second rebooting but finally it came on with white apple logo but then it said the battery was at 100%. Not low.
What do you think? Is the battery going bad or what?
I'm ready to buy a new battery and try to install that.

From what I understand about your issues is that your iPad will currently not turn on. In attempt to resolve this issue please follow the steps in order below:
Resolution
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more about restoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.

I made one simple report with detail of Item Code & Name. and try to display in iPad.
While clicking on the menu for that report it shows the blue screen only.
Is there any configuration on iPad side to view the CR ?
My report is very simple and even not used parameter.

ICal has problem receiving event invitation - not in the address book

My iCal has been working flawlessly for 4 months and then I started getting the error message in iCal that "There was an error receiving the event invitation" It says that the email address isn't in my address card, but I've checked and it is. I've tried adding and deleting the email address as well as deleting the address card, creating a new one, and designating it as me. It still gives that error, and this was all working previously. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I get these all the time, and have yet to figure out how to get them to add to my calendar.
I'm trying to figure out how to "open" it so I can see what the address conflict is. There appears to be no way to view the actual event, so I can see what address the event thinks is "missing.
I will keep trying to resolve this (what I call a bug) problem, and will reply here if I come up with something.

Ipad has wifi connection but will not download

Hi, I'm having an issue with my Ipad 2 iOS 7.1.2, it only started happening last night. IPad can see and is joined to wifi but will not download or send anything. Always times out after spinning wheel.
Have tried connecting to and joined, various wifi routers in other houses. So know it's not the router. Still no Download or send.
Have done a hard reset.
Have reset the network settings.
Any other suggestions. I'm at a bit of a loss.
Oh and the iPad is away from my mac so can not reinstall or restore.

It sounds like you are unable to access the internet on your iPad, but you are indeed connected to a Wi-Fi network. I would use the troubleshooting from the following article to help you get that resolved:

IPad has update software but will not work with iMac with updated software

I have the iPad running the 5.1.1 and when the iPad is plugged into the wife's new iMac running iTunes 10.6 I get a message
The iPad “Ase’s iPad” cannot be used because it requires iTunes version 10.5 or later. Go to www.itunes.com to download the latest version of iTunes.
I check the iTunes and it's at 10.6, and iTunes will not even recognize the iPad under devices.
Again while plugging in the wife's iPhone you get the following:

Again the iTunes is at 10.6
Any help with this? Do I remove the iTunes completely?
Shouldn't be this hard.

Locate the iTunes app in Applications folder, highlight it and type Command I (I as in Ivan) and look to see what version is installed. If it's still 10.4 then navigate to

Then download and install following the on-screen directions. Once it installed it wouldn't hurt to restart in Safe Mode, this will clear some caches, it's possible one or more is corrupt.

My iPad has been disabled due to not having enough storage for backup in iCloud. I attempted to download photos to my computer, however, I get the message that no photos were found. In the meantime, I cannot access my pad.

iPad4 - unable to backup due to lack of iCloud storage . The pad is frozen. Cannot access any info.

However, if the iPad is frozen, a reset may allow you to get back into it again. It hurts nothing to try this. It is like rebooting your computer.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Try the above. If you cannot contact the original owner then the iPad is useless to you and you need to see if you can get a refund/ Apple will/can do nothing to help you.
