Try the above. If you cannot contact the original owner then the iPad is useless to you and you need to see if you can get a refund/ Apple will/can do nothing to help you.

It's not clear what you're trying to do. On a computer you can log in to icloud at icloud.com. You can't do that on a mobile device. What is this about VPN?

No. You cannot link your contacts to hers. However, you can use Home Sharing to share the information:

If those don't help you can try a cleaning disc or a quick shot of compressed air. Chances are that your drive has failed, join the club it's not all that uncommon. You can either have it replaced or purchase an inexpensive external drive. Don't buy the cute little Apple USB Superdrive, it won't work on macs with internal drives working or not.

If the movie has completely downloaded, I recommend deleting the movie and downloading it again from your list of purchased movies. See this article for the steps:

I am asked to restore my ipod first, but i have tried using all the examples stated and still can't help. Please please, can some one help me out ?
