My iPad has the message. Your iPad has not been backed up to iCloud for 2 weeks This will happen when its plugged in and locked and connected to wifi. Even though I press ok, the message won't move and I can't use my IPad because of it. any clues to fix?
Exactly how can I get this message off my Ipad, am I to syc it with Itunes or just plug it in to charge? Any help would be appreciated.
Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

The info window has an OK button, but clicking on it does nothing...cannot power off the iPad either...and the voice prompt has been useless...just keeps wnating to search the web.

I charged my Ipad last night and this morning there was a message from icloud that it has not been backed up for two weeks. I tried to click the ok but it will not respond. I cannot even power off the Ipad. Does anyone know what I should do?
A reset should help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button at the same time for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons and await restart. No content will be affected.

Try restarting the phone and trying again.
If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again. -
I keep getting a message that my iPad has not been backed up to icloud
I keep getting a message on my iPad that my iPad 3 running iOS 6.0.1 has not been backed up to iCloud for 2 or 3 weeks even though Settings>iCloud>Storage and Backup indicates that the iPad has been backed up that very same day. Generally the iPad backs up every day, automatically, when plugged in and locked. I get the messages about once per week.
Another iPad 2, running iOS 5 backs up to the iCloud on the same account and we get no similar messages on this iPad.
To be on the safe side I also backup both iPads to iTunes at least once per week.
Anyone have any ideas why this is happening.synching your iPhone to your computer has nothing to do with iCloud backups.
Force an iCloud backup: Settings>iCloud>Storage and Backup>Back up Now
Be sure that Settings>iCloud>Storeage and Backup>iCloud Backup> is ON -

The Message is displayed on my iPad's screen saying:
"iPad has not been backed up to iCloud for more than 2 weeks; backup happens when connected tp WiFi and iPad is locked and plugged in".
I cannot get rid of the message, I cannot unlock the iPad to do anything...it is fully charged, but I don't know what to do to get rid of the message display - it is "stuck" like this! HELP!!SORRY! You had actually answered the other question, so all's well in my world.
I even answered re: my own post on the other thread (DUH!) - I hope that's not a problem...
The instructions were easy to follow, and everything is working just fine. (I didn't know about holding down the 2 buttons simultaneously to get it back to the Apple on the screen. I don't think my old iPad did that - maybe I just didn't have an occasion to need it! (My 1st iPad was the ORIGINAL iPad. I'm SO happy to have the "newest" iPad with Facetime, etc. SUCH a wonderful toy! SO much easier to carry than my MacBook Pro! I'm a happy camper, randers4. :-) -
My IPad screen is frozen with a message stating that the IPad has not been backed up to the ICloud for 7 weeks, this is not correct. I cannot get the messageto clear and cannot access any of the other icons; is there an emergency reboot process?
Have you tried resetting your iPad?
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).

Hold Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds until your device restarts, so you will be able to use your device again. Finally, open Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, and make a backup. The device will be backed up when it's plugged to the charger and connected to your network -
