My Ipad has suddenly stopped playing music and videos??

You needed to enter a passcode before using the touch id.
If you touch id isn't working, then erase the old print and re do it.
I use two prints and have no issues using it.

We bought this itouch for our daughter for Christmas (2011), It has worked fine all this time until now. All of a sudden it will not connect to our home wi fi. All the other ipods/iphones/laptops and desktop are connecting fine so I know it is not the router itself. I have tried all the standard troubleshooting tips (forgetting the network and resetting it on the ipod, turning it off an on, plugging it in and updating the software, we even restored it completely from itunes as a new ipod). It lists the network as available but then when you try to connect it just sits there with the little circle icon thing spinning, trying to connect but never does.Please help!
So you also rebooted your router correct? Does the iPod still connect okay to other networks?

my apple tv (1st gen) has worked fine for a year/ All of a sudden it has stopped displaying any movies or tv. It only displays my movies or my tv that has been previously down loaded. however it appears connected wirelessly with good signal strength. Have tired swithing off both router and apple TV. Any ideas?
This is a known, ans ongoing issue. Rest assured you're not the only one affected. There are several threads here already discussing this, I suggest searhing them out if you want more details, and possible work-arounds for locally hosted content.

Have lost ability to open Boot Camp on start or restart. Icon does not show up. Had been working for 2 years, then nothing. Recently had problems with Kodak Easy Share in PC partition. Any connection? Any hope of reopening Boogt Camp without losing data already there?

Paragon CampTune is a commercial product that is designed expressly for this task. http://www.paragon-software.com/home/camptune/ It consists of a downloadable ISO that needs to be burned to a disc and booted from in order to resize the partitions. During testing it was available free, but now costs US$19.95. MR user Rodus reports that it damaged their OS X partiton and a reinstall was required, so heed the warning and have a backup.

From the makes of CampTune is a commercial tool that is similar in functionality to GParted Live, but has a more polished/friendly user interface than GParted Live. Securing Dual-System Configuration
Imaging is still the most affordable and robust way to secure computer data. Unfortunately Mac OS X backs up only HFS+ volumes, leaving Windows with dual-system configurations unsecured. You can permanently lose all of your data unless you have a Windows-compatible backup solution.
Paragon’s CampTune and Paragon’s Drive Copy for Mac can secure the entire dual-system configuration. CampTune creates traditional images of volumes or entire hard disks, Drive Copy can copy them to other disks. In case of an emergency, you can restore the previously created image or copy all your data back to its original state.
Winclone/Disk Utility
Winclone is a free tool for creating and restoring backup images of your Windows partition. One of its key features is that it can restore to a larger partition than the one the image was created from.
NOTE: Winclone has been discontinued, but for now remains available and capable of completing these tasks (including creating and restoring Windows 7 images).

Disk Utility can resize HFS+ (Mac OS) partitions, but is currently incapable of resizing NTFS partitions, so you could use it to reduce the size of the HFS+ partition and create a new larger placeholder MS-DOS (FAT) partition
The full process would be:
Backup Windows partition with Winclone.
(if the new Windows partition is smaller than the old one make sure you set the preferences in Winclone to save the image as an uncompressed dmg)
Delete old Windows partition
Resize current Mac Partition
Create new Windows partition as MS-DOS (FAT) in free space after Mac OS partition.
(If the new Windows partition is smaller than the old one an additional step is required: shrink the filesystem on the image by selecting Tools->Shrink Windows (NTFS) Filesystem)
Reboot your computer for the new Windows partition to mount properly (winclone may not restore if you don't reboot)
Restore Winclone partition over new Windows partition

FaceTime worked fine for a year and just quick working??
I had no problems with the Face Time usage on my MACPRO ...then a couple of months ago it just quit working? Says it is off - I click on and preferences and the eternal circle goes non stop?
Anyone else have issues with Face Time?I called AppleCare yesterday to find out if my Logs had been analyzed and if they had an answer for my FaceTime issue. They did indeed have the answer. It was a "serialization problem". The original logic board in my Mac Pro 1,1 needed to be replaced, right after I purchased it, and the ASP didn't "serialize" the new board. The AppleCare rep told me to take it in to any Apple Store and they will serialize the board or replace it if necessary!!! And they refunded my $19.00 for Single-Incident support since it was due to an oversight by the original ASP! AWESOME!!!!!!!!
I shot over to my local Apple Store and within 5 minutes (FIVE MINUTES!) FaceTime was working!
Not sure if this will help anyone else, but paying $19.00 for AppleCare support is definitely the way to go, and you might even get it refunded!
This was a one week process, since my initial call to Apple, but they reviewed the logs and found the problem. The reps were all very professional and very knowledgeable. I can't say enough about this!! Very Happy! -
My bluetooth disconnected from my iphone 3. I have been using it for months. I checked the bluetooth and it connected on my husand's iphone4 but won't reconnect on my phone.
Try doing this:
Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Connections
Phone will reboot, you will have to enter your WiFi Passwords again - BUT should resolve the problem. -
When i was trying to play the LP cover to show a friend the intro video of the Deadmau5 "helmet" being put together through the animations, it highlited the song name and I typed in deleting the original name. The whole LP works however the intro video will not play, suggestions to resolve this problem?
Figured out in another forum--it was the Album Artist field that also needed to be changed.

When I try to send e-mail I get an error message stating that the e-mail address was rejected by the server. When I send to e-mail from another address, I get back an error saying the e-mail address is unknown. My e-mail has worked fine for years until yesterday. HELP!
The specific text of the error message is very important here — I'm not sure exactly you're encountering here.
If you're able to connect to your email server and are able send email to other email addresses and if the failures are specific to one email recipient address, then please contact the intended recipient of the failing email, and confirm their address is valid. (This is the way I'm reading your question.)
If you are unable to send any email to any other email addresses and this is specific to your email address, then try the web mail client interface (if one is available) to verify your login user and password, and check with your email ISP for assistance. If your email password works via web mail, follow this Apple troubleshooting guide, then — if everything else fails — I'd probably then entirely remove the email account from Mail.app and re-add it per your email ISP's particular setup requirements. (Some issue with the setup or maybe a corrupt setting in OS X or a problem at the mail ISP servers is a common problem, but this effects attempts to send to all email addresses via that account.)
An email account setup is specific to an email provider, unfortunately. If you're using one of the more common email ISPs, then there are usually setup guides and frequently-asked questions posted online. -
my photos won't "load" - it has worked fine for at least two years, but suddenly now when I plug in the chip, iPhoto opens up as usual, but the window just says "loading photos", and the little wheel keeps on spinning - can anyone help me?? What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .
