I also have a Zyxel VMG1312-B10A set up to use VDSL on my ISP's FTTC service. (i'm in the UK)
i swapped this out from a BT Openreach VDSL modem and a Technicolor 582n
weirdly (and i've yet to still work out where the problem is exactly...) my iPad mini running iOS 7.1 (the latest version my ipad can download i think) and i cannot stream anything. Youtube, BBC iPlayer, ITV player all cannot stream. weirdly in the apps i can do all searching for clips fine, but when it comes to playing it i seem to get the spinning icon in the middle then the message "playback error".
i even try streaming youtube via safari and chrome but i get similar problems, the stream doesn't even begin to play.
i cant say for how netflix or other premium streaming services because i don't use them.
my HTC smartphone and blackberry smartphone stream from youtube and iplayer in the web and on my desktop.
i swap back to my openreach/technicolor setup and the ipad is suddenly able to stream fine.
obviously by going back to my previous setup it proves that there is no apparent issue with the ipad, but at the same time with the zyxel installed, it stops the ipad from streaming but other devices don't seem to be affected. it must be some kind of bug specific to this router and my ipad.

If you are trying to view YouTube content from Safari, that requires Flash which cannot be installed on an iPad.
A workaround would be to download the You Tube app > YouTube for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad on the iTunes App Store

You don't download anything at all. The feature is built into the iPhone 4 already. Your carrier has to support the feature and there might be an extra charge to use it.

This, Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.70, is the current version of Flash. It should work with Snow Leopard or later.

Did you restore a backup after you restored to factory settings? If you restored a backup, you should try restoring as new, but if hope that support already told you this.
Have you tried using another WiFi networK? Do you have a computer running iTunes? If so, can you download apps or music on the computer?

Really strange problem you have there. I have a few questions though.
Please try again and try to make the phone as a new without restoringen with you iCloud-data or backup-data from iTunes. Maybe it is something wrong with the data (strange).
Anyway, i think you should call Apple Support or visit an Apple Store, don't forgot to make a Genius Bar reservation.

recently my n8 cannot play youtube pc vers. Understand it is caused by the latest update of flash 10.2 in youtube. Any solution to it (not by using mobile vers)?

If you get a message on Youtube that says " an error has occured - try again later" Follow these steps:
1) Disable all RealPlayer Plugins or Extensions on FireFox then close Firefox.
2) Open RealPlayer and click on the RealPlayer icon at the top left.
3) Click Preferences
4) In the Category panel click Download and Recording.
5) Uncheck (remove Check Mark) from Web Download and Recording and click OK.
6) Start Firefox and try to play videos.

I posted a couple of days ago about a problem my iPhone 4 was having trying to stream video via WiFi
Basically, since I upgraded to iOS 6.0.1 I cannot stream YouTube videos via the app or via Safari, Netflix will not work nor will services such as BBC iPlayer.
I've also discovered this evening I cannot stream any radio apps either.
All of them will play for 10-30 seconds then stop buffering making them impossible to play.
I was given several pieces of advice including restoring the phone to factory settings, restoring it as a new phone, hard resetting twice in a row, deleting all the cache/data in Safari but nothing that has been suggessted has solved the problem.
I know it is not a problem with my internet/WiFi as I have a laptop and a PC both using it and streaming YouTube/raddio stations etc. with no problem. Also, my girlfriend has a 3GS with the old YouTube player and that works with no problems at all.
Can anyone please help me out as it's getting a bit frustrating not being able to use the streaming function on my iPhone.
One thing that is odd, I have no problem surfing the web on the phone via WiFi or streaming over 3G. It is only a problem when trying to stream video/audio over WiFi.

If YouTube videos are buffering in you browser, then it sounds more like a problem with your Internet speed.
If you contact your Internet Service Provider, they should be more than happy to help.

IPad guest users cannot see YouTube videos but Android devices can

Hi all,
I am in the process of moving a guest SSID from a local Wireless LAN Controller to it being anchored for security reasons to another WLC in the DMZ. I have created a test SSID which is anchored in the DMZ and have found that everything is working perfectly except for YouTube videos. While those guest users that are connected on Android devices can watch YouTube videos just fine, those connecting via iPads or iPhones are unable to watch these videos. Any ideas?

I did two packet captures: once with a working Android device and once with a failing iPad. There did not seem to be any difference in packet sizes when trying to download a YouTube video (both seemed to be around 1368 bytes per packet). The packet capture with the failing iPad showed a number of TCP resets and attempts to connect to 224.0.0.251 MDNS) - that seemed to be the only difference with the packet capture from the working Android device.
What I did notice when looking at the existing local WLC (from where the iPads can successfully connect to YouTube - remember that they are failing when they are tunnelled to a test SSID in the DMZ) the local WLC contained a Layer 3 MGID for 224.0.0.251 with a number of users in that group which were iPad users. When I looked at the anchor WLC in the DMZ it did not have this MGID listed - or any other Layer 3 MGID for that matter.

Frozen song on iPhone 4- cannot play or be removed

I downloaded a new song from iTunes, and then synced it to my iPhone 4. The iPhone will not play the song, and the song that doesn't play cannot be removed from the iPhone 4 either. If I try re-syncing it again to the iPhone, it still does nt play- it is frozen.
(However the song does play fine on my computer in iTunes, just does not play at all on iPhone).

I realize this question is 8 months old; but I just had the exact same expeience, and I found a simple solution that may either help you, or help others who are having our same issue (song plays in iTunes on computer, but not on iPhone--even after resetting the phone, updating everything (iOS latest version, iTunes latest version) and re-synching/restoring from backup).
Whichever song doesn't play on your phone, simply go to the iTunes app on your iPhone (the pink "store" one, not the orange "player" one) and go through the process of "buying" the track again:
Search/[track name]/Click "$1.29" or whatever/ Click "Buy Now"/ [enter your password]
At this point, the Store will see that you've already purchased the track, and it will prompt you with "You Have Already Purchased This Song. To download it again for free, click Download." (Usually takes about 5-10 seconds for this dialog box to pop up).
Answer this prompt by clicking the "Download" button at its bottom, and you're good to go!
One more thing: the first time I listened to any Playlist in which my re-downloaded-for-free song appeared, I found that some of the songs were mis-labeled on my screen. For example, one song would play, but another song's album art and name would be displayed. To cure this, I manually track-advanced through the entire playlist one time. After that, everything was back to normal...
