My iPad is being hacked. How can I get rid of this and prevent it?

Hi, I'm getting spam in my hotmail from Facebook, saying I tagged someone's photo. There were about 20 of the same messages in there. Plus there are some sites I cannot access at all now and my hotmail and iPad passwords are being stolen or changed so therefore, I have to go in and change them all over again. Can anyone help?

That depends. If it's an email you should never move it. Doing so will corrupt your mailbox folder which could cause you to lose additional email. More importantly, if you have an IMAP account or a POP account where you leave messages on the server it will just be redownloaded the next time you check for email. All email must be deleted from within your email client and if it's a gmail account the only way to permanently delete it is to use webmail in your browser. If you need to do any of this get back to me and I'll explain more about how to do all that.
Tell us what it found. There are a couple of new Trojans floating around that need to be analyzed further so that ClamXav and other AV scanners can catch them.

That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash. HT1920 I was recently asked for account info on an account that used an email address that had been hacked. how can I get rid of this account record or the account itself.

I was recently asked for a password for an email on the App store. The email was very old and was one that was hacked so I removed it from my email list. Now I have no record of the account, its password or security questions, and obviously I can't receive email on the account. How can I eliminate this account. I may have already divulged ninfo to this address that could get into the hands of a hacker.

Email size limits are imposed by mail providers, not the operating system. They usually vary in the 20-25 MB range.
The limit is for an individual email plus any attachments it may have. The only way to release that email message is to reduce the size of the attachment if you can do so. The limitation itself is from your email provider so there isn't anything you can do to change the limit.

You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. In Mail on iMac, successfully running OS X Lion, one mailbox on My Mac for "Recovered Messages (from AOL)" keeps showing 1 very large message (more than 20 Mb) that I just cannot seem to delete. Each time I go into my In Box, the "loading" symbol spins and the message appears in the "Recovered Messages" mailbox. How can I get rid of this recurrent file, please?
At the same time, I'm not receviving any new mails in my In Box, although, if I look at the same account on my MacBook Pro, I can indeed see the incoming mails (but on that machine I do not have the "recovery" problem).
The help of a clear-thinking Apple fan would be greatly appreciated.

I worked it out.
Unhide your hidden files ( I used a widget from http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/developer/hiddenfiles.html)
Go to your HD.
Go to Users.
Go to your House (home)
there should be a hidden Library folder there (it will be transparent)
Go to Mail in this folder
The next folder ( for me ) is V2
Click on that and the next one will be a whole list of your mail servers, and one folder called Mailboxes
Click on that and there should be a folder called recovered messages (server) . mbox
Click on that there a random numbered/lettered folder -> data
In that data folder is a list of random numbered folders (i.e a folder called 2, one called 9 etc) and in EACH of these, another numbered folder, and then a folder called messages.
In the messages folder delete all of the ebmx (I think that's what they were from memory, sorry I forgot as I already deleted my trash after my golden moment).
This was GOLDEN for me. Reason being, when I went to delete my "recovered file" in mail, it would give me an error message " cannot delete 2500 files". I knew it was only 1 file so this was weird. Why 2500 files? Because if you click on the ebmx files like I did, hey presto, it turned out that they were ALL THE SAME MESSAGE = 2500 times. In each of those folders in the random numbers, in their related message folder.
Now remember - DONT delete the folder, make sure you have gone to the message folder, found all those pesky ebmx files and deleted THOSE, not the folder.
It worked for me. No restarting or anything. And recovered file. GONE.
Started receiving and syncing mail again. Woohoo.

Launchpad on my 3 week old 13inch macbook pro with OS Lion, is displaying all sorts of strange files and icons, some of which include: disk image mounter, dock, how can I get rid of this? ods agent, 50onPaletteServer, spotlight.service, SCIM, TCIM, makePDF, PressAndHold, MassStorageCamera- to name but a few! Theres over 100 of these icons and I have no idea what they are and where they came from? whilst using googlechrome yesterday my macbook suddenly slowed down and all running programmes froze. i eventually got all programmes closed and restarted twice and was still running slow. Today it is up to normal speed but I noticed how Launchpad is totally messed up and I dont know how to get rid or move any of these icons, that is if they are even meant to be there. Im not sure if it is relevant but I shall also add that the Hard Disk Icon was randomly being displayed on my desktop as well.
Any help on whats happening to my launchpad and what these icons are would be greatly appriciated.

Had this happen to me after a recent update, was super annoying. To turn off, go to Settings > AirPlay > Conference Room Display > Off.

Ok....so I have found a work around....if not a complete solution.
I'm not sure if deleting your music, uninstalling ITunes and reinstalling and adding your music back will actually affect it but I tried it again. Started from scratch.
I checked the box for "Manually manage music and videos"
Then I moved my music to phone via drag and drop, usually just boxing a row of albums at a time.
I went back into my Iphone and began the sync. The message popped up, "1 Item could not be synced" and the sync stopped. At that point, I just clicked sync again and it started back up again. It took a few go's but eventually I got all my music on my phone.
Ironically enough, the only songs that wouldn't sync were songs that I had actually purchased from Itunes....kinda odd

You cannot stop it from popping up.
it will continue every few minutes until its installed.
just keep using the back button near right side of home button.
