My Ipad is blinking/flashing

Hi there!
I just installed OS 4.2.1 on my ipad, after i use some applications for a minute, it starts to blinking/flashing vertically (with rainbow colours).
is there any solution for this kind of matter?

You can try to do:
1- turn the iPad off. Hold the sleep/wake button until the red slider on the screen comes up...slide it to turn it off. Hold the sleep/wake button again to turn the iPad back on. Did this solve your problem?
If not
2 - do a hard reset....press and hold both the sleep/wake button and the home button for 8 top 10 seconds until a black screen comes up and a white Apple logo appears. Let it start back up....can sometimes take a couple of minutes to come on. Did this fix the issue?
If not you may need to do a restore.

Try to reset it. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot. If that doesn't help then you may need to make an appointment at your local apple store and have them look it over.

E75 display blinking/flashing

My phone has just developed the following problem: about every 5 seconds, the display goes blank (the backlight keeps on, if it was on), but I can see the flashing with backlight off. With the power save mode on, the display flashes quickly.
The phone does this continuously. I have already tried removing the battery and also backup and factory reset, with no result.
Has anyone experienced this? Is it a hardware issue? The phone is not under warranty, so if the repair is expensive, I would probably go for new phone.

I would suggest that you force close the app, then relaunch it to see if the issues persist:

IPad Development Question - Flash CS5

My friends and I were thinking about creating a few games for the iPad. With Flash CS5, there is an option to publish to iOS. With the conflict between Apple and Adobe... If we create a game in Flash and publish it to iOS, would Apple allow it in their App Store?

They mostly kind of work.
Look at skyfire, photon, iswifter, puffin.
Read some reviews and see if one will work for you.

Not in Java proper, since there is no platform-independent way to do it. You can use the java.awt.Window.toFront() method, but it's probably not what you were thinking.

Brief water contact; black apple logo blinking/flashing white screen

Ok, this idiot didn't take his phone from his pocket & it briefly was water submerged. Maybe 20 seconds; feeling stupid about it.
Phone has been in a bag of (uncooked) rice for a solid 48hrs. I thought that was long enough to plug phone into lightening cable charger into USB port for iTunes...saw a white screen black apple logo that is blinking/flashing. Immediately unplugged it & put back in bag of (uncooked) rice. Did not have it plugged in longer than a few seconds.
Suggestions other than make an appt. with the Genius bar?
Is flashing/blinking a significant sign of permanent damage?

No where near long enough. Should be 5-7 days normally.

Genius Bar appointment is the best alternative. More than likely the device is trash. You should be able to purchase an Out Of Warranty replacement.

You can use SOME usb drives to move photo or video file. Emphasis on some. I once had 14 laying around and only got half of them to work. There was no consistent size or brand.
and like stated above, only for photos and videos, only if they follow a a strict naming convention. you can't transfer any other type of files.

@fanboy512 The sites are not changing to be iOS compatible, is also changing for ALL devices that are HTML5 capable like most modern Android and Windows Phone 7 devices, not just for iOS devices.
One single example from many is Adobe just announced HTTP Live Streaming (a protocol developed by Apple) to the Adobe Flash Media Server so all iOS or any HTML5 device including the Motorola Xoom can stream Live or On Demand video using this Media Streaming protocol when Flash is not available. There is a video by Adobe demonstrating this on both the iPad and Xoom.

There is no way to download anything onto an iPad - the only way is through iTunes and the store. if the programme is not in the store, it cannot work on the iPad.

Correct - the press has been going on about the iPhone & iPad not having Flash for about two years now. It will never have it - there are many threads explaining the reasons here in the forums. Just use the search facility top righ for 'flash'.
I am afraid you will never be able to use that site on the iPad unless they move to an open standard, along with Youtube, Facebook, Hulu etc.
