My ipad is broken

my ipad have fell down,the back cover and protection glass was broken...i need to replace them so please advise

Accidental damage isn't covered by the warranty (unless you are in the US and bought AppleCare+, which covers your for 2 cases of accidental damage for, I think, a $49 excess).
In the US the price for repair (i.e. replacement) for the iPad 2 is (from here) $249, and here in the UK (from here) it's £206.44

I dropped ipad. screen no longer functions. How do I access data from ipad to back up to our computer before having ipad repaired?

Some iPad users have been able to revive their dropped iPad. Turn the iPad over and give it a HARD SLAP on the back. May take several slaps.

If you take it to Apple, you'll get a replacement iPad, so all your files will be gone. Check with some of the 3rd party repair places below. They should be able to repair your iPad with the files intact.

It will be difficult but I won't be buying any apple products anymore, I really feel like I was abuse that was half of the price of a new iPad. I have never complain in my life but this time I think apple is abusing me as a costumer.
I'm really upset, I'm furious that apple uses his dominance in the market to Rip off costumers like me.

I downloaded a book but my ipad was broken so i got a new ipad and now the book is gone.

You should be able to re-download past ibook purchases (as long as they are still available in the store) by tapping the Store button at the top left of the iBooks app and then going into the Purchased tab at the bottom of the store page : re-downloading.

If so, if you purchased Apple Care +, then contact your local apple store and you can use one of your two accidental damage repairs to exchange your broken one for a refurb for a $49 fee.
if you don't have Apple Care + then you're looking at 'out of warranty' repair, which starts at $299 for an iPad 2 (goes up depending on how large the memory is)
You can also look into local authorized repair places and see what they charge. THere is also the option of the cheaper unauthorized repair places, however if you use them then you will void any remainder of your factory warranty.

Ipad 2 Broken Screen

I have two ipad2's both with broken screens. Only the glass is broken and I have so far there has been no issue with the software. I am wondering what apple does with ipad such as mine, the cost and what I get. I am also wondering if they offer something where they buy the ipad off me and use it for parts, etc. Any answers would be much appreciated.

Ipad screen broken. HELP!

Hi, my ipad screen broke this morning. It's hasn't cracked, and has always been fine before, but this morning it just went off, then when I pressed the lock button the screen light up slightly, but not the way it should have, sort of a grey colour. After a few taps and tricks on the screen it light up, but it was really fuzzy, a mixture of white, pink and other colours. I can faintly see my background (the apple logo), but after a few seconds it just goes off again. I've looked through some forums but haven't found an answer. I want to try and keep away from the 'go and get it fixed at a shop' route. As all the do is over charge people. Any help is welcomed. Thank you!

You're down to getting it fixed. It sounds like something is physically broken inside.
If your device is still under warranty they MIGHT consider it a manufacturer's defect. If they do, then they'll replace it with a refurbished replacement. If they consider it accidental damage, they might offer you the option of an out of warranty replacement. Which starts at 249 and goes up (if your device is a 64 gig one, it will be more expensive than 249)
You can try unauthorized repair places. If you use them, they might be cheaper, but it's use at your own risk and you will void your warranty (course, if it's expired, doesn't matter)

IPad Air Broken Camera

Hi everyone, I'm new to this community. Nice to meet you all. My iPad Air Wifi Version 64GB Camera doesn't work. I have tried everthing like restart, soft reset, and even restore. The problem is the Camera lens seemed to be broken. When you enter Camera app, you will see the screen is black, and even if you capture the image, it is shown as black. I was wondering if anyone had the same problem as me? I am thinking of return this back to Apple, but the problem is that I'm not sure whether they going to replace with the refurbished unit or repair the camera lens by changing it as I heared that Apple starts the repair since June.
Note: I just got my iPad Air and it is still under warrenty.

Bought it in november. Today back camera wont work. Looks dark and takes dark photos too. When u try to switch to face camera, camera app freezes. Problem also happens in other camera apps that I have downloaded. Anyone with help, advice or that may have a solution or that have taken ipad air to warranty, that can tell me their experience. Need to have this problem solved asap, first Ipad Ive ever bought and it works crappy. Please advice.

Backup of an iPad with broken screen

I have an iPad of a collegue with a broken screen, it just gives a few brightly colored lines. I can't see anything and can't type in the PINcode. There's no current backup and I would very much like to make a backup. I now, my collegue should thought of that befare, it's probably a lesson ;-)
When I connect it to iTunes it asks me unlock the device but I can't see the keyboard and it isn't working at all.
Is there a way to enter the pincode on a different way? Can I connect it to the iPad keyboard dock and type in the pincode?

In order to save on shipping and repair costs, you might want to look up a local Mac expert. That way, you save on shipping and repair. Find one who offers a warranty, and comes with references.
