Thanks, Stedman, that is helpful (I seem to be able to get past the "bubble" somewhat) but it is still there....I have, in the past, stroked across the music of choice and that was it...now the "bubble" with the choice name comes up and if I go all the way across I get a delete choice? You need to restore the iPad.
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support

Try to force your phone into recovery mode. Disconnect it from the computer's USB cord. Turn it off if you can by holding the sleep/wake switch until you see the red slide to off. If you can't turn it off, please continue. Press and hold the home button while plugging it into the computer's USB cord. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo. If it's showing the red disabled screen then you will need to connect it to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/re-sync your content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If you do it via a different computer then :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

Everytime I start up my Mac mini I'll be able to use it only for a little while then the beach ball appears and it won't let me do anything I have to keep forcing it to turn off by holding the power button can someone help me?

I have no external devices connected to my Mac mini but still everytime I use it after about half hour to an hour in whatever I'm using wether it's the Internet or iPhoto or iTunes the beach ball appears and I cannot get it to stop I always have to press and hold the power button and force it to switch off I then do a safe reboot and it starts up again fine but same thing again after a certain amount of time it will freeze. I have also had on some occasions a bright white screen with a folder and a flashing question mark appear but it's not because of any external devices as they have all been removed please can someone help me as I have no idea why this keeps happening to my computer and I'm worried that there's something seriously wrong it's only about 6 months old and I have no experience in dealing with computers ??

My machine was patched to date 10.x.x. I was lucky to get an internet connection and I selected the option to re-download Lion... its curruently being downloaded. What if that doesn't work?
