My ipad is frozen on an error message

My iPad is frozen with the error "This iPad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks." It won't allow me to hit "ok" to make that go away. It won't let me slide to unlock, and it won't turn off. Help!

Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.
Note: You can't delete post, only the moderator can do it.

Quit iTunes, restart your computer, restart your iPad and try again. If it doesn't work with a restart of the iPad, try a reset of the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Ical is frozen due to error message that I can't resolve

I received an error message that has frozen I call when I attempted to cut and paste notes. I cannot erase, delete, or any way resolve the error message to hopefully enable ical to function again. Any help would be great!

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

I am trying to restore my locked ipad however, I get an error message in itunes, what do I do next?

I am tryint to restore my locked ipad 2, however, in itunes I get 2 popup messages. The first pop up says "itunes can not connect to ipad because it is locked and requires a password" So I attempted to restore the ipad and an error message "itunes can not connect to this iPhone because of an unknown error occurrred"... Does anyone know what I do next?

Just wanted to say I found out the answer. I should have looked first to see if anyone else was having the same problem but I didn't.

IPad won't open iBooks - error message that book isn't formatted correctly, iPad is fully updated and I've tried deleting and reloading iBooks - only thing that has happened between when it used to work and now doesn't is that I took the iPad to singapore

iPad used to open iBooks purchased off iTunes no problems but since I took my iPad overseas on holiday it no longer opens iBooks - they appear to download ok but when I tap to open the book I get an error message saying the book isn't formatted correctly or is in a format that iBooks doesn't recognise. I have tried
- deleting and reloading iBooks
- making all updates have been done
- turning on and off airplane mode
And still have the problems

Ok, I got the 1.3/1.4 thing straight now. There was a java.exe in System32 that I now see the PATH was calling first.
And in the TextPad version of the problem, I was curious -- I don't remember setting the specification of the executable called by the Run Tool button, but I must have at some point. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it and it created a default button that apparently points to what it's supposed to point to, since it now works and runs my program OK.
Still, I wonder how it can be that explicitly directing the button to C:\j2sdk1.4.0\bin\java.exe makes TextPad's Command Results Window say "NoClassDefFoundError"
I'm up and working now, but if anyone has a clue I can learn from on the TextPad issue, thanks

I was trying to sync my ipad to a PC and a message saying "mobilme app an error occur some datas might have not been saved etc..." something like that.... So im scared how can i be sure that i do have a valid back up of my entire ipad ?

You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized.

Apps fail to update on iPad. I get the error message that the app cannot be updated at this time

I keep getting the error message "the app cannot be downloaded at this time" when I try to update any of my apps.

Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again.
