My ipad is frozen with the spinning circle in the middle that continues to spin and spin.
I tried holding the home button and the sleep button and nothing happens. I also tried to see if it would connect to itunes and no such luck. Is all hope lost?? Don't know what to do now...
How long did you hold both buttons - for a reset you need to hold them for 10 to 15 seconds

My iPad is frozen with a white rotating circle in the center. How do I unfreeze it?
OK if I understand whats going on.
You have to restore your ipad.
If you backed it up prior to this problem you may not loose everything.
I can tell you how to restore it.
Hold the on/off button and the home button at the same time until the device turns off.
Once the device has turned off without letting go of the home button release the power button and keep holding until the connect to itunes logo appears.
It should be rather obvious now that you have to connect your iPad to the computer.
iTunes on your computer should open automatically if it doesn't open it.
on the side bar of iTunes your ipad should appear.
Click on it.
Then in the centre of the window there should be a restore and/or restore and update button.
Click restore.
the rest of the instructions should appear on the screen.
Assuming the restore was successful.
Leave the iPad plugged in and If you backed up the iPad before it stopped working then you should see a restore from back up there if not you may have to start from scratch. -
My ipad is frozen with a black screen with a picture of a cord leading to the itunes icon. i tried to shut down my ipad but the turn off icon wont show instead the itunes icon with the cord keeps coming out everytime i open my ipad. what should i do ? and i dont want to lose my pictures, videos and other documents in my ipad please help me ....
I hope you have a backup if you don't want to lose your iPad contents. You have to restore the iPad now using iTunes on your computer. That's what the message on the screen means.
Take a look at this.

My iPad is frozen with the message not enough storage. Options are close and settings but it will not respond to buttons and will not allow me to turn it completely off. How do I get past that message?
Delete some apps, files, photos, videos, movies, etc to free up some space.
How much space is your Other using? You may be able to reduce.
How Do I Get Rid Of The “Other” Data Stored On My iPad Or iPhone?
http://tinyurl.com/85w6xwn
With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. If you sync lots of documents to apps like GoodReader, DropCopy, or anything else that reads external files, your storage use can skyrocket. With iOS 5/6, you can see exactly which applications are taking up the most space. Just head to Settings > General > Usage, and tap the button labeled Show All Apps. The storage section will show you the app and how much storage space it is taking up. Tap on the app name to get a description of the additional storage space being used by the app’s documents and data. You can remove the storage-hogging application and all of its data directly from this screen, or manually remove the data by opening the app. Some applications, especially those designed by Apple, will allow you to remove stored data by swiping from left to right on the item to reveal a Delete button.

My iPad is frozen with a message on the screen that says "iCloud backup is full" and it gives me the option of cancel or settings but will not go to either one or allow me to exit the message. How can I restart? It will not let me turn off or doesn't help to plug into computer
Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple logo.
Data will not be affected. -

I am trying to sync my Ipad 2 to my Itunes account on my laptop. It will only sync my purchased music. All of my personal CD music that is on the account is grayed out with a red circle at the end. Please help.
Did you select all of the music to sync by clicking on the playlists or albums or whatever you use in iTunes - in order for them to sync? Or did you click on Entire Music Library if you want all of your music on the iPad?

TS4036 My ipad is frozen with the message it hasn't been backed up in 27 weeks
My ipad is frozen with this message; "icloud backup. This hasn't been backed up in 27 weeks. Backups happen when this ipad is plugged in, locked and connected to WiFi". I have backed up this ipad on icloud SETTINGS a couple of weeks ago and through itunes. I've plugged into itunes and clicked on icloud back up but it doesn't change anything, it is still frozen. I can't do a hard turn off either, this message does not go away. Please help.
Reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.

My mini Ipad is frozen with a message saying, This IPad cannot be backed up because there is not enough Icloud storage available. You can manage your storage in Settings. But it is locked up and I can't get into settings or turn it off
Try this: Hold the power button and home button at the same time for about 10 seconds or so, then let go. This should have reset the iPad. Hopefully the iPad will show the boot up Apple logo.

My ipad has frozen with a sign which says cannot access icloud account, can either press ignore or settings and whichever I press it wont let me. It has frozen it and wont even let me close down or go onto anything else...
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons

My screen is black on my iPhone with the little circle in the middle like it is powering down. It's been like this for over an hour! Help
Hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears. If it hasn't appeared after 30 seconds your phone is probably broken. If something other than an Apple logo appears see: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808.
