My ipad is in recovery mode and the update corrupts everytime! what do i do??

I tried to update my ipad 2 from 4.x.x (cant quite remember exactly). It wasnt connected to the mac i was assuming it would do it over wifi... it didnt. So left in recovery mode i plugged it into mac and tried to update again but i must have tried 10 times now and shortly after the download when "processing" i get an error with "corrupt softwae download". Ive checked security and firewall but no luck still. So its currently bricked REALLY NEED HELP!

Ipad 2 in recovery mode and will not connect to itunes after trying to install ios5.

tried to update to ios5,finished d/ling and when about to install, syncing-related(don't quite rmb) popup showed up and interrupted the installation,asked to continue or cancel, I cancelled, finished syncing ipad, clicked update again, installing but recieved error 1602, now ipad = recovery mode,BUT wont connect to itunes. help!

so I tried using a differnet computer, restoring it to the ios4.3.3, then once my ipad is out of recovery mode, i went back to original computer, connection worked, then i tried to update to ios5 again, success.. but when restoring, got stuck at "preparing ipad for restore" for 10 min, then got error 1602, then back to the same problem, ipad is in recovery mode, and wont get detected by computer. That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

Ipad stuck in recovery mode and won't restore--error code 1604

I tried to backup and update my ipad this evening and when doing so it now is stuck on the itunes and USB screen. When I connect the Ipad to the Itunes it says the Ipad is in recivery mode and to restore. I click ok and it tells me i can't restore the ipad and gives me an error code of 1604. I have no idea where to go from here or what happened. Any ideas?

Error 1604: This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, uninstalling and reinstalling USB ports, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections, device not recognized properly, computer won't recognize a FireWire or USB device). If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
   1. Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode, put it into Recovery Mode.
   2. Restore and wait for error 1604.
   3. When prompted, click OK.
   4. Close and reopen iTunes while iPhone remains connected.
   5. iPhone should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
   6. Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.

I would try aain placing the iPod in recovery mode See:

And then try restoring the the iPOd.
Next I would try placing the iPod in DFU mode and then restoring the iPod:

Last, use this program to cycle the iPod out, in and back into recovery mode.
