My ipad is lock and wont open

how to open my ipad when it says go to itunes

Have you attached the iPad to iTunes on your computer?  Is this a new iPad?  If new, you need to connect it to your computer and invoke iTunes to set it up.

  • Z10 locked and wont open

    Hi ,
tried  to  unlock my z10 , it immediately showed attempt 6/10 , entered my password and nothing happened , didn't  even  show attempt 7/10 , carried on and nothing changed , tried entering any password again  and  again and nothing happened , still  shows its  6/10 .
I'm receiving calls , emails ( can't see them  as  the  phone  is  locked ) , all  other  notifications etc .
Tried connecting to my Mac but BB link  wont  work  unless unlocking the device .
Tried  restarting , took  out  battery , nothing .
    Help  please .
    Thanks ,
    Laurence

This is very unusual. I use a number of Z10's and other Blackberry phones and never seen this.
Did you try calling Blackberry support?
I would guess you have a backup of the phone. You can try to re-install the operating system, and then restore the phone. Hopefully the backup is not password corrupted.
It is possible you installed a third party software and that is causing your grief with the phone. I have seen some very weird problems caused by independently written third party software.

If you do not know the passcode to unlock your iPod Touch, you'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with in recovery mode and restore.  See this article for instructions on getting your iPod into recovery mode.

my ipad is locked and i have to connect it to itunes but now itunes wont accept it unless i unlock the ipad but i can't, what do i do?

I have no clue what you're talking about.  Perhaps you can rephrase with correct spelling and real sentences that include initial caps and periods and other grammatical niceties.

  • Ipad is black and wont turn on

My ipad is black and wont turn on the only thing i get a the apple icon in the center of the screen. I tried restarting it. It is fully charged and it is upgraded. Please help

    Try a reboot first.
If a reboot doesn't work, try and force iPad into Recovery Mode (data will be lost)
    1. Turn off iPad
    2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
    3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
    5. Release the Home button
    6. Open iTune
    7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
    8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

  • HT4113 My ipad is locked and I have forgotton my passcode. I have never synced with itunes. Any advice as I will lose purchases and photos? Many thanks

My ipad is locked and I have forgotton my passcode. I have never synced to itunes. Do I lose all purchases and photos? Many thanks

Removing Disabled erases the contents of the iPad. You can redownload your apps, but the pics will be gone. If you have important files on your iPad, you should always backup frequently.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.

my ipad is locked how can ı open it again, my ipad is locked how can ı open it again

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad into Recovery Mode
