My iPad is no longer connected to my iTunes account.

The iPad does not show up in my Devices under iTunes - however, it did before iTunes updated.  It does show up on my iCloud account.  iPad, iTunes and iCloud use the same Apple ID. When I connect my iPad to my computer, it does not bring it up in iTunes.  How can I get my iPad reconnected to my iTunes account?

I have done everything that is listed in the support article and found no issues.  It still will not recognize my iPad.  I have uninstalled iTunes 3 times and all of it's files as noted in the following article.  Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 - Apple Support
Still nothing.  And in addition - iTunes takes more than 2-3 minutes to load.  None of the new installs seem to be working properly. Is there an older version of iTunes that I can run?

  • IPad 3 no longer connects to iMac iTunes.

The first few weeks my iPad was recognised by iTunes (10.6.3) on iMac (OS X 10.6.8) using the USB cable provided.
Now when I connect iPad to iMac via cable the iPad symbol no longer displays in the iTunes.
I can't back-up the iPad nor add music from iTunes library to the iPad.
I did add some anti virus software recently (Avast) and quickly uninstalled it. But that didn't yield a result.
I turned off the Firewall - again, no satisfaction.
Over the past week, I've read all relevant literature from this community.
I guess I can wirelessly connect with the iMac (I haven't tried that yet as I'm not very good at this)
but I would really work out why this problem arrived in the first place.
I love to hear any suggestions to remedy this issue.
    All The Best,
    Marv

    The problem has been resolved.
After exhausting all options (following all the documents & tips on this site and chatting with other Mac users) I called Technical Support / AppleCare (complimentary 90 day phone support) and an American fellow, Tim was simply fantastic.
Put simply; he mentioned the issue was not common and was resolved by uninstalling the iMac's iTunes software and re-installing it (which was easiler done while we were talking).
He said it was some parameter called Mobile something, something (I didn't take notes while working) which was inaccessible to technical laymen like myself needed to be overwritten with the new copy. When the new copy of iTunes opened the iPad was instantly recognised by iTunes on the iMac.
Problem solved - I can now easily Sync & back-up iPad on the desktop, wirelessly or cable-driven. Great stuff.
I can't tell you how wonderful Tim, the Techical Support guy was - patient, knowledgable and affable.
Well done, mate  - 10 out of 10.

  • My iPad wont let me connect you my iTunes account or do the new upgrade, Help!

    I need help please.
My iPad wont let me do any apple updates for apps etc. I can't download music etc. used to be able to but doesn't seem to connect to I tunes. Everything else works

    Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year. Then see if you can connect to the store.

    Hi,
When Zeen's battery level goes below 5 %; it tends to Reset to Default where it looses all the connections and sync to the printer or router.
So its very important to make sure that Zeen's battery does not go to low. To avoid this I would suggest to charge Zeen regularly.
You may try the steps below as of now and check the results.
We need to Factory Reset the Zeen making sure it is connected (Docked) on the C510a printer.
Once it is docked try the steps below:-
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02844556&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_r1002_us...
Open the above link; and then perform the Factory Reset as shown in Solution Two.
Once completed try connecting to Wireless and check the results.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

My itunes displayed a message at the top that it was connecting to the iTunes Store. My laptop is connecting fine with the internet, yet not through the iTunes program, or at least it seems that way.
