My ipad jumps apps and internet tabs, Why?

My ipad jumps apps and internet tabs when I am using it to watch videos and produce mini art.
I have reset factory settings and such, but it still happens.
Has anyone else had this problem or is my ipad buggered.
Any help or response much appreciated.

Take a look at the iPad User Guide, which is linked below, and make sure you aren't accidentally using multitasking gestures when the issue occurs.

Multitasking gestures
You can use multitasking gestures on iPad to return to the Home screen, reveal the multitasking display, or switch to another app.
Return to the Home screen. Pinch four or five fingers together.
Reveal the multitasking display. Swipe up with four or five fingers.
Switch apps. Swipe left or right with four or five fingers.
Turn multitasking gestures on or off. Go to Settings > General > Multitasking Gestures.

IPad 3: Apps and Internet not working

Hallo,
A week ago I noticed that none of the applications on my iPad is working. When you click on it they open but unable to connect to the server. I then noticed Safari is also not working. I checked the wireless connection, turned it off and back on again, restarted the router and the wireless shows that it is connected.
Yesterday I took a backup and reset the pad by deleting everything and set it up from scratch, unfortunately this also didnt work.
What could be the problem?

1) Without connecting your iPad to your laptop, start iTunes. Click on Edit. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
2) connect your iPad to your laptop and start iTunes.
3) When iTunes starts, right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select Transfer purchases etc.
4) After it finishes transferring all your apps to your new laptop, right click on your iPad and select Backup your iPad.
5) After it finish backing up your iPad, right click on your iPad and select Restore etc.
6) After it finishes restoring, left click on your iPad , then click on the Apps tab on top, and check the box next to Sync Apps, then click on Apply below.
If everything on your iPad looks good after the sync, go back and click on Edit / Preferences / Devices and UN-check the box next to Prevent your iPod etc. The only other thing you may want to check is if your contacts, bookmarks, etc. are syncing correctly now. If not, go to the Info tab after connecting and make sure you indicate which features you want to sync with what sources.

How to save the tab app and group tabs ?

The Tab App and Group Tab are nice ideas but tend dissappear physicalky.
I do not understand when then dissappear and when not.

Does restoring tabs work or is that failing as well?

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox Profile Folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

If you do not use cellular data then you can't be charged for something you don't use. You could turn airplane mode on and then turn wifi back on when you have wifi available and you want to send pics if you are paranoid

When Syncing ipad my apps get dropped. Why?

Did you transfer the apps from your old computer to the new one? The good news is you can download the paid apps again without being charged.

If you have not jailbroken your iPad, then no one can be doing anything to it.

Why does my ipad close apps and exit safari only when in our Tesco smart case?

We have just purchased a Tesco smart case for our Ipad 4. When we use it now though,it automatically closes apps, kicks us out of Safari, and enters sleep mode. But all is fine if we remove it from the case. Is this a known problem when using 'non-Apple' cases? Any pointers appreciated.

High-quality, correctly made and fitted third-party cases should be fine.
Check that the openings on the case are not pressing any of the buttons.
If all appears fine, take the case back for replacement or refund. It's clearly not doing the job you bought it for.
Generally, you do get what you pay for, and although more expensive, Apple products are higher quality and work with the products they are designed for.

Probably memory fragmentation. While on the Home screen double-press the HOME button. Then swipe the screen image of each open app up to close the app. When all of the apps have been closed press HOME again, then reset the phone by holding HOME and SLEEP at the same time until an Apple logo appears. You will not lose any data.

IPad remote app and apple tv (gen1)

I have the remote app on my iPhone 4 and iPad. Everything is up to date. The iPhone works fine controlling the apple tv, but I cant get the iPad to connect.
I start the remote app on the iPad get the 4 digit number. I enter it on the apple tv, but it won't let me select the done button.

The Album art is a known issue. Your other problem sounds like your network.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first.
The reason it would work again for a while is that switching AirPlay off and on re-establishes a network connection. Whether that's what is happening isn't certain, but it could explain:
...... but that wouldn't explain why each time, it starts playing again correctly when I unclick and click the ATV in the Multiple mode dropdown.

(iPhone) Remote app and internet radio

Does anyone know why the Remote app does not show the (internet) Radio tag in iTunes, when all others are present (except the Apps tag)?
This of course is to remotely cause the computer to play internet Radio over the house WiFi & Express - not to get Radio on the iPhone itself. There seems no obvious reason for this tag being missing from the control set - or is there something wrong with my setup? (but it works from iTunes on the computer).

You can create a Playlist called RADIO and drag all of the internet radio stations (or the ones you want) into that and it works fine. Works for Front Row too if you have a Mac. The only issue is that some radio stations change URL now and again, so the list can go out of date.

Remote App and Internet Sharing Problem

Ok so basically heres the setup we have, we have one of the recent iMacs, a Macbook, and 3 PC's, one running XP and the other 2 Vista. All of these computers are on a network together. All our music is on one of the Vista PC's, called "SERVER". This PC is connected to the speaker system, so is what we use for music.
Now I've been trying to use an iPod Touch we have (most recent firmware 2.2, and most recent Remote app version.) and the remote app to control the itunes on this PC. This is not an issue when the iPod is connected to the Wifi the router itself provides (its one of those wireless routers), but when I switch the Wifi the iPod is using to the Wifi provided by the iMac using internet sharing, it suddenly can't find the library anymore. Internet (safari) still works fine from the ipod when connected to this Wifi point.
My guess is that because the iMac using internet sharing seems to act more like a router than a wireless access point (allocating its own IP adresses ect..), the iPod thinks its on a different wireless network, and thus cant see the itunes library. Obviously the iMac is connected to the router directly by ethernet, if I hadnt mentioned that.
So, my question is, can I fix this ?
Is there any way to make the internet sharing mac behave like a wireless access point and not like a router ?
Help would be much appreciated.

asuming you mean internet sharing as in you connect adhoc to 1 computer using wifi and the rest of the network is wired
problems is the middle name of adhoc wifi though cause everybody problems imho
and wifi routers are soo cheap most people don't bother
even if internet sharing is used remote app should still work if not connecting adhoc at least it's working for me right now
with a setup of many computers 1 wifi router
1 computer sharing internet using an usb 3g modem
remote app works with all my computers and my appletv

How do I export photos taken in an Iphone or Ipad Camera app and retain each of the photos location data?

I know this question must have been answered somewhere but I must not be searching for the right terms because I haven't been able to find clear instructions. I am using iPhones (4s) and iPadminis on IOS 8/8.1. I run ITunes on a Windows PC.
I want to be able to export photos which keep their metadata/exif data, including the location data that is acquired when the photo is taken. I have location services turned on for the Camera app. When I view the photos in the Photos app it appears to have kept some location services because it accurately identifies the place the photo was taken. How do I export these photos so they retain that location information?
I have previously exported the photos by using the iphone and ipad as an external hardrive and just copied the files off the devices. When I open these photos in windows explorer they do not appear to have maintained more than the time the photo was taken. They do not show any location information in third party software like Picasa or Geosetter (My previous experience has been exporting images from a non apple camera and then syncing it with a handheld gps to update the exif data). I don't find syncing photos through Itunes very intuitive.
What are my options? What are the solutions? If you have a solution can you please explain a little about what is happening to the files and the metadata/exif data at each stage of the process.
