My Ipad keeps shutting down and rebooting, is this fixable?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. I have ipad mini 32gb. I updated to IOS 7.1.2. Since then ipad keeps shutting down and rebooting to the apple logo. It happens so many times I cannot use the ipad. Sounds like a hardware issue to me going by the CRC error you mentioned. I'd make a Genius Bar reservation (you'll need your Apple ID) if you have a nearby Apple Store and get it evaluated. The evaluation is free but repair/replacement could incur other charges.

Because there is something wrong with the iPad? Try restoring the device with iTunes. Start with that.

I've just updated ipad software now it keeps continually shutting down and discharging battery whilst in sleep mode,. Can't do anything as turns off every 10 seconds
You should try restoring the iOS software now if resetting the iPad did not help. This explains how to do it. I hope that you have a backup, because restoring the software erases the device, but you have the opportunity to restore from the back after the software is installed again.

My iPhone 5 keeps shutting down when left unattended. This requires a full reboot and this doesn't always work either. Sometimes it requires a full reboot several times. Has anyone else had this problem?
I am having the same issue with my iPhone 5s. I travelled to the UK and my phone started having this issue over there (i have turned the cellular data off). I restored my phone last night but when it asked me to set it up again, i chose for it to set up from the back up i had stored on my Mac. The problem is still presistent even though it is shutting down less often. I am going to restore it to the factory settings tonight and see if I keep getting the same issue I will take it to a Mac Genius. However if it works i will let you know

Why does my iPad randomly shut down and then restart?
This has only happened since the newest iOS update. It has also had problems with the wifi happening since the last 6 level update: randomly drops wifi signal etc.
What can I do? I've tried backing up and doing a factory restore, the problem doesn't resolve.I'm not sure. I didn't buy it, I won it in a contest at work and I don't have any of the reciepts or anything for it.

Have an iPod touch 4th gen. It is completely charged, but once I disconnect from a power source it shuts down and then the apple logo just keeps reappearing. I have restored via iTunes and reset all the settings. Any suggestions?
If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.
