My ipad keeps telling me i have the wrong password and is now disabled, how do i get it to accept the password i created.

I am not at my home computer to connect will this be a problem?

If you are talking about your iPad passcode needed to unlock the device - you can't retrieve it. You have to restore the device and sync with the computer that you always sync to in order to retrieve all of your data. This article is a starting point for you. You will need your computer - unless you want to restore and wipe the iPad completely by using another computer to restore.
