Anyone have a. Solution to solving this issues with my iPad mini battery?

What kind of ipad mini / ipad 2 you got?
AFAIK,
1. ipads drain battery with 3g/4g on (regardless on wifi or not) 1% overnight.. so for 7 days .. 65 is about correct.
2. Are your ipads setup to receive remote push notification? (more push = more battery drain.. as the screen lit up)
3. With iOS 6 vs iOS 4 .. there are more stuff running in the background and more toggles.. that could also contribute to battery drain.

In terms of not charging when connected to your computer, a lot of computers (especially older ones) generally do not provide enough power to their USB ports in order to charge the iPad at a sufficient rate - it may still be charging slowly, and should be a bit quicker if the iPad's screen is off (if you leave it for a while and then disconnect it from your computer you may find that it's battery percentage has gone up). The wall charger is usually the most efficient way to charge the iPad.
If it says not charging when you are using the iPad wall charger, then have you tried a reset to see if it charges after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. Otherwise have you tried a different charger and/or cable ? Do you know anybody else with an iPad so that you can try their charger and cable and they can try yours ?

I switched off my "MCDN" in general settings to avoid high data traffic fee.

Yes, notification and also location services and wifi and blutooth drain the battery.
With time/number of charge cycles the battery capacity decrease.

This may take a while as it is drained, but be patitent and wait. And hopefully it would work.

I had similar issue with one of the macbooks in the office. Make sure you've got latest firmware installed (run Software Update). This resolved the issue for us instantly (you may need to reboot mac AFTER firmware upgrade for this to work).

Hi! My Ipad 2 32gb 3g battery is draining very fast. For 25 min it goes from 100% to 90%. I have bought this Ipad on May. I have let the battery drain down to 0% and then doing a full charge to 100% but it doesnt work anymore. What should i do?

What are you doing on the iPad in those 25 minutes ? If you watching videos, and have 3G, wifi, location services, email fetching going on in the background then the battery will drain quicker than if you are just reading an ibook in airplane mode. How do I know if an iPad mini needs a Battery Servicing? Is there an existing app for this? I read that an iPad's battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 1000 complete charge cycles. How do I check this? How do I know the charge cycles done on an iPad? You will know if it needs replacing if it drains quicker than usual. After 1000 charges the battery capacity will be reduced which means only 80% of power in the battery. But don't worry about the battery at this time. After the 1000 charges it can last another 1000 and after 5 years you may just want to just leave it plugged in. Anyway I'm sure you will be interesting in an upgrade instead of sticking to your current iPad?
Heres an eg:
IF you charge your iPad EVERYDAY - 1000 charges, Charge each day for 1 year is 365 days (365 charges)
1000 devided by 365 is around 3 years!
THe battery dosent completely die after 1000 charges, it will just reduce its capacity
and last another 3 years but by then you'll wound of probably upgraded!
Ycan out can also follow some of these battery saving tips so you may not need to charge it everyday
1. Lower the brightness or turn auto brightness
2. Turn on reduce motion in settings, general, accessibilit, reduce motion: this will eliminate the paralex of the apps and the animation of the apps opening and closing, turning it on will make the apps "Fade"
3. turn off location services, or turn off apps that use it and system services in settings, privacy, location services
4. Turn background app refresh off settings, general, background app refresh to off
5. Limit Or turn apps off in notifications settings, notifications
. Turn off push mail in settings, mail, contacts, calendars, push, push off and set to manual
turn Bluetooth off

my iPod mini's battery dies within 10 minutes. I'll charge it overnight and still only around ten minutes. I got the speakers but that charger doesnt work either. I don't know what to do.

i just changed my ipod mini's battery because of the same problem (10 hour charge to a 5 minute life span) . it appears to me that the new battery (more ampage than the original) provides no improvement whatsoever, in fact, worsened the lifespan!
If I leave my ipod switched off with the hold on, it will reset it self and then half of the battery will go away..
any reasons /???

After updating to iOs 6.0.2 my iPad mini battery seems to drain much faster than before :(

I updated my iPad mini to iOs 6.0.2 a couple of weeks back and I am suffering from battery drain issues.
Although apple mentioned there, it is supposed to fix wifi issues, I never had any issue with wifi.
But a black line was appearing when playing youtube videos in safari or chrome, which is fixed in this update.
But my battery life of the iPad mini is considerably decreased.
Is apple going to provide another update, which ll fix the battery drain issue?

Ipad mini battery problems

hello i have a ipad mini and recently i have been having some problems with it for around one week, i normally leave it charging through the night and when i wake up my ipad says that my battery is at 100% when i take it of the charger it says 99%. so i restart it and the ipad says that the battery is back to 100% (this happens every single morrning)
now this morrning i woke up and my battery was 100% so i took it of the charger and said it was on 99% i went to have a shower and when i came back the ipad was displaying that i had 88% so i restarted it and it said that i had 88% not 100% even though it had no use while i was in the shower.
so how can a battery drop that much in 30 mins

In rare instances when using the Camera Connection Kit, you may notice that iPad does not charge after using the Camera Connection Kit. Disconnecting and reconnecting the iPad from the charger will resolve this issue.
