My iPad mini, can only access camera roll photos. When posting on facebook. I can not access shared photos from my apple devices.
problem with iPad mini and iPhone 5c and Facebook app. I can only access camera roll, when posting photos, I can not see shared photos. Which I could before the previous 3 updates. I did speak to Apple support but they said Facebook was behind. i think over 6 months later I still have the same problem!

but my 5c is also only showing camera roll, pehich is rather annoying to say the least!

When you back up your Iphone/Ipad it backs up your camera roll. but when you take pictures and it uses photo stream, does that mean there are two copy's of your photos on icloud one set for photo stream and one set for backups?
What do you mean by storage quota, does that mean i could be photo streaming about 1gb of photos and it does not get taken away from my free 5bg.

If you're technically comfortable in getting to your Linksys settings - try changing the network mode or channel in your router's settings.
I still use my old Linksys router and when it's set to the default channel, which is 7, my Macbook Pro and Macbook Air sometimes have issues - changed the channel to 9 and have had no issues since.
Maybe it might work for you.
In any event - screenshots below are for your E4200 and play with those settings and see if any of the changes you've made improves how your Macbook connects. Before you change any settings, just remember what the old settings are in case you need to go back to your old settings.

If not then do you have a backup of the iPad on your computer's iTunes ? If you do then in iTunes go into Edit > Preferences (iTunes > Preferences if using a Mac) and on the Devices tab on that hover your mouse pointer over the iPad's backup : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4061 -

Why is Whatsapp only able to access camera roll and not other albums?
Seemingly a Whatsapp issue, that you can work around copying your photo in the Photos app then pasting in Whatsapp.

I am not able to access my photos through the photo application... when I click on the photo app, I can see the camera roll, but a transparent "album" screen is over it and I cannot click on the photos to see it... can any one please help ???
Known bug. Quit the Camera App, double-tap the home key and delete Camera from the recent apps bar. Fire it up again, should be good.

I have a new iPhone 5. I am trying to get apps like instagram, facebook etc to upload pictures from my camera roll. When i try to get a picture from the camera roll it instructs me to go to settings - privacy - photos and turn access on. When I do this, there is no option to turn it on. All i get is a screen saying "apps that have requested access to your photos will appear here". NO APPS APPEAR HERE. When I go to instagram I get the message "this app does not have access to your photos. You can enable access in Privacy Settings." I CAN'T enable it in Privacy Settings. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and it didnt work. Please help! Much appreciated.
I'm also on iPhone 4, iOS 6, and have exactly the same problem. I've tried resetting privacy settings, turning restrictions on and off, deleting and reinstalling apps. Nothing seems to work. The lists of apps in privacy settings are all empty, except for location services. When using Tweetbot the app is regularly asking for permission to access my twitter account, but even when I allow that, the app doesn't show in privacy settings. When I try to go into the camera roll from the Facebook app, the app tells me I have to allow access to the camera roll from the privacy settings - which I can't do since the app is not listed there.

all of sudden my iphone 4s any picture I take outside I cannot forward via email or text and I can only see it, in the camera roll. When I try to open the picture full screen it is blank. Anyone have any ideas to fix it?
Close out of the camera app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Then check your camera roll again. -
Ipad mini users only. Did the ios 7 upgrade diminish the camera and picture quality?
I recently upgraded my ipad mini from ios 6 to ios 7 and I still trying to get used to the new interface. However my confidence was shaken when i stumbled upon several internet posts claiming a diminishing in the quality of the pictures taken with the ipad mini especially in outside conditions. My plans to get buy an ipad with ios 6 on it were about to get scrapped but the post and complains i read online are making me reconsider them again. I would appreciate if a fellow ipad mini user share his or her upgrading experience with me so i can make an intelligent decision. Please i would truly appreciate non partial, thoughtful opinions, not fan boy/girl type of advice. Thanks
I haven't noticed any deterioration on ipad mini's at all. In fact i think it's almost seems better on ios 7 due to software enhancements.
In all fairness though, why are you using an ipad mini for taking photos.
Its not bad camera it's just there are much better out there. -

My husband has ipad mini data only, I have ipad mini cellular and data ( but I never buy cellular plan except for trips, so only use wifi)I have both updated to ios8 latest version. I tested this: I sent ipad messages (using message app already on ipad) and sent messages to my own iphone 6 and my husbands ipad and someone elses iphone and then to an ANDROID phone, and it worked perfectly ( gave me a code to enter to do it) but when I tried sending to android phone off of my husbands ipad mini, it did red error message saying not delivered. same household, same wifi in same room, so I cannot figure out why his won't go through to android but mine will. bought ipad mini's same year, same model except one(his) data only, but both use same wifi (home) what do I need to do to make his send those text messages? that is what is actually being sent, text messages from the apple message app on both. please advise step by step and no I don't use cellular data on mine, just wifi).
text messages from iPad are actually sent from iPhone.
on iPhone, go to Settings > Messages
if you have the same Apple ID signed in from other devices, you should see a "Text Message Forwarding", tap and you will see a switch for other devices.
1. so just make sure your husband's iPhone and iPad are both updated to the latest iOS 8.
2. sign in iMessage from Settings on both devices with the same Apple ID.
3. check the "Text Message Forwarding" option on iPhone, follow the tips given to complete.

after picking a picture in camera roll and txting it...I can not access camera roll again because the topof the phone where it says "albums" comes up lower - thereby covering the camera roll. I can see it, since the "album" is see through, but I can not access it. The only way it fixes itself is if I reboot the phone every time.
Seems to be a known bug in the firmware, until it will be solved in a future update, you can also bring up the Multitask bar, tap on the photo app until it shakes and hit the little "minus" icon to close the app. After that it should be working again without having to the reset the device.

I recently took pictures at a family outing and all the pictures appear on my camera roll but when I click on about 5 of the pictures they all pull up as a white screen even though I can see the picture on the camera roll. How do I get these to pull up when clicked on ? I have completely shut the phone off twice thinking this would reset pictures but it has not made a difference. What can I DO??
My sister's 5s is having the same issue since yesterday.
Neither resetting via holding home+power buttons helped, nor the "reset all settings" in the settings. The only option left is erasing the iPhone and setting it up as a new phone ( or restoring from a backup?) -

Kudos! I too am frustrated about this change to my personal page. I also know Apple is not to blame. I also manage a page for the company I work for using pages app. And that app is UN affected and I can choose from any photo stored on my phone (4). I do keep them seperate so I can keep a professional aspect for the company. But if you want your personal page linked to your public or work page, this maybe the work around your looking for.

Syncing notes with iCloud requires it have the correct email address linked, as notes get synced with an email address.
Now, assuming that you have successfully set that up, though most people don't first time around, then if you deleted the note from the phone, it will have deleted from iCloud as well.
Meaning, unless you have that note located in a backup in iTunes or iCloud you won't be able to get it back.
You can restore the iTunes backup simply by connecting to itunes and hitting restore backup. Only thing is, any info that changed since the backup was made will be lost. (i.e. if your backup is a month old, your phone will look like it did a month ago, and only have that info on it.)
Or, you can restore from iCloud, which requires erasing all content and settings, then selecting that backup. SO, you can see the predicament.
