My ipad mini doesn't rotate after lock. yea rebooting is fixing the problem but is there any fix rather than rebooting the device? im tired of rebooting it :3

I had the problem with my screen not rotating when I did the latest update. Tried everything by to no avail nothing I did at home helped. I backed up my ipad mini then headed to the apple store. He checked my hardware which told my apple guy it was all good. So he thought it was my software. So he removed and reinstalled my software. Thinking that would solve the problem. BUT... It didn't. So I left with a new ipad mini. Obviously it WAS my hardware. My ipad mini was only 11 months old.

Just go to www.icloud.com, open Contacts, then click on the little icon in the lower left and then choose to import contacts via vCard. Of course it would be necessary that you have exported your contacts as vCards from another source first.

My iPad mini doesn't charge sometimes, and if it charges it only can charge to 92% then stops.
At most time, my iPad mini doesn't charge at all. I have searched the problem on Internet, somebody says it is about the temperature, but the weather of the place I live ain't that cold. Once it can charge, it can only charge to 92% everytime. Someone to help me solve it? iOS 6.0.1!

My brand new iPad mini won't rotate done factory reset still not working. If I lock and unlock on landscape or portrait it remains in that mode. Any ideas pretty sure I've tried everything suggested such as off/on, reset, reboot, double checked lock off. It did work and I changed wallpaper and stopped motion, not sure if this related
Reset all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. Your iPad will reboot on its own. You will have to enter all of the device settings again, but no data will be lost.
I eould not spend a whole lot more time trying to fix this, if the device is really brand new. I would take it back to where you bought it, bring the box, the charger, the cable and your receipt and if they can't get it fixed, return it and get another one. -
I updated my ipad mini to ios7 and after that the restrictions have been turned on automatically. It was off before the update and I din do after either. I tried 1234 but it doesn't work. Please help me.
1. It is never a good idea to include personal info like your email address or Apple ID in a post on an open forum.
2. The email you received DOES NOT say your Apple ID cannot be used to unlock this iPad. The email informs you that your Apple ID was used to unlock an iPad. Fortunately the iPad is yours. The message confirms that. If your Apple ID was used to unlock an iPad that was not yours your would then know to change your password. Since the iPad is yours you do not need to change your password.

Typing on iPad Mini is very sluggish after upgrade to iOS7
After successfully upgrading to iOS7 on my iPad Mini things seemed to work beautifullly until I notice that typing (or even keying in my password on the lock screen...) was very sluggish. You type a few words and it gets the first four or five letters then pauses for 10 seconds or more before writing the rest of what you had already typed... It has rendered the iPad Mini nearly unusuable at this point. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know of a fix?
Ok I update the iPad Mini last night and since then the keyboard is no longer working correctly (The onboard one)
When you unlock the keyboard it freezes as soon as you press one of the number, you can continue pressing the numbers and all of a sudden 5-7 seconds later it clicks and unlocks.
Using the keyboard in anything now causes the Keyboard to freeze for 4-7 seconds and then unlock, then freeze again,
The ipad Mini has nothing on at all so its not apps. It went through fine as well.
In the Diagnostics of the Ipad Mini, There are loads and loads of errors and all say Keyboard crashed, error. So there is a major fault some where with IOS 7. the Ipad Mini you no longer can use with a keyboard.
Help apple or any one.

Ipad mini cannot use Safari after connecting to Youtube?
My ipad mini doesn't seem to want to open Safari after I try to watch videos on Youtube. I tried using the Youtube app, reinstalling it, and using Safari to open up Youtube videos, but no go. It seems that my ipad mini is also unable to use Safari after trying to watch these videos, and I have to go out of my way to turn off and turn on the Wifi button again. This is already my second ipad mini, because I exchanged the first one due to the "battery charging" issue.
I've already tried to do the home button + power button reset and reset all my other settings. I know it's not my router because I can use my netbook and my mom can use her laptop on it, and even her ipad. I have also had this ipad for about a month now, and the problem only arose this afternoon. If there is an internal problem, I'd really like to exchange it again while I still have warranty, but I was just wondering, did anyone else seem to have these problems? And if so, did you get it fixed?Go into Settings -> Safari -> Clear History and Website Data

I'd maybe try doing a search for Safari on your iPad first (swipe to the left to search). If it shows up in that search you can go to Settings > General > Reset and choose 'reset home screen layout' which will put it back where it would be by default.
All else fails? Restore it. -
My iPad mini says to connect to iTunes, and I try to restore it, but after its done extracting a message comes up saying that device is not found, is there anyway i can fix this? I don't care if i don't get my stuff back, i just want my iPad restored to its starting settings.
If everything else that you try fails, I would try using another computer. Since you don't care about saving any data, any computer that is running the latest version of iTunes might be able to restore the iPad. You could make an appointment at an Apple Store Genius Bar and they can do it for you.
If that isn't feasible for you, try using a different cable, a different USB port. reboot the computer, and reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Then try again. -

Okay , you should only delete EMPTY DUPLICATED folders, not preview folders or any others. I would put them all back. Then just delete any DUPLICATED EMPTY folders, do not disturb any other folders. On iOS switch off DOCUMENTS AND DATA under ICLOUD in SETTINGS. Do this on all iOS devices not just the one. Once deleted DUPLICATE FOLDERS on the mac in MOBILE FOLDERS then exit the LIBRARY. Open PAGES on your MAC and view folders on icloud. Check everything is all there as expected. If okay then DELETE and re-install PAGES app on iOS - THEN switch on DATA and DOCUMENTS in ICLOUD. Now open PAGES. If you have Time Machine on you can recover any 'lost' doc files and restore them from your mac from pages application. Try the process again and do not disturb any folders other than ones I mentioned as this is the system files LIBRARY. It is not a place to be over zealous in moving, altering and deleting folders and files. Take care please.

Ipad Mini doesn't load authentication proxy login

Im new using ipad mini. I am working in a private firm and the internet use system here is to login in the authentication proxy login page.
I already have my proxy login account and I can login successfuly from my laptop. But when I try to use my Ipad Mini to access the net, Safari loads, and I can see the login page is loading but is like skipping the page and finally says "Safari cannot open the page becasue the network connection was lost".
Thank you in advance.Do you happen to have Private Browsing Mode enabled in Safari on the iPad mini? If so, you might try turning that off, then try to log in to the proxy again.
Other things to try:
What is Settings > Safari > Block Cookies set to? It defaults to "From third-parties and advertisers", but try setting it to "Never" to see if that makes a difference when logging in. (Do not leave it set at "Always" or that will make most web sites stop working that require cookies to function.)
Does the authentication proxy use a pop-up window on your laptop's web browser? If so, and if Settings > Safari > Block Pop-ups is ON, then you may need to turn that setting OFF to allow Safari to log in to the proxy.
If you enable Private Browsing Mode on Safari on your laptop (I'm assuming you have a Mac), can you still log in successfully to the proxy?
Does Google Chrome on the iPad mini let you log in to the proxy successfully? (Chrome uses a different network stack on iOS.) -
IPad Mini update error 53 after screen replacement

I have a new iPad mini. Not too long ago it was dropped and the digitizer scattered. I sent it in for repairs but apparently it fell outside of the repair parameters, as it was a little too shattered? hum hum.
So I went about replacing the digitizer myself, and doing so the Touch ID home button was rendered non functional. I was just fine with this as I could use the iPad just fine without it, and I'm ok with a non functional home button. Problem is when you go to update. You can't update at all, and now it seems that because the home button is non functional, it bricked my fairly new $600 iPad mini by going through the update process (which itunes so gracefully asks you to do every time you plug it in now)
What options do I have here? It really seems idiotic that because of a non functional Touch ID sensor home button that you cannot update the software. This is a really poor design decision.illigal? i downloaded from an authourized site www.imzdl.com & my method of installation is simple via itunes itself. i still dont understand how it worked evading authorization from apple. but it sure did.
& for your info i downgraded my ipad mini back to ios6.1.3 & now itz back to being perfect.. thx anywayz. -
On my iPad mini, my inbox number count is over 500 even though the inbox. Is empty. All accounts do this on my iPad but all my other device are fine. Problem showed up two weeks ago???

It sounds like the Mail app on your iPad mini is showing that you have over 500 unread email messages, but your inbox is actually empty.
There are several steps I'd use to troubleshoot this situation.
First, restart your iPad to see if it clears up the symtom:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
If this doesn't correct the behavior, try removing and re-adding the affected email accounts next:
Get help with Mail on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap the affected email account.
Tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.
If the same thing happens after re-adding the account, you may need to use the steps below to reinstall iOS. You may want to back up your iPad to iTunes before completing this step.
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.
