My iPad mini freezes every 2 minutes and it takes another 2 minutes for it to respond again, after it freezes the screen goes black and after 2 minutes the pass code screen comes up then the cycle begins again. My iPad is fully charged and I have closed all of my apps. Please help.

I have tried pausing the film for a few minutes to let it download, and I have even started a film, and then paused it, half an hour before starting to watch it, hoping that this would allow the entire film, or most of it, to download, but it hasn't helped. I don't have this problem when I download directly from Netflix onto my laptop, but then I don't need Apple TV. Of course, I'd rather watch films on my TV than on my laptop. Any suggestions other than buying a new Apple TV after just over a year?

When I was searching I also found similar problems with screen brightness affecting wireless networking in iPads and MacBooks. So it seems like screen backlighting can generate wireless interference. The joy of technology.

Go ahead and set it up as new. It's just new as far as iTunes is concerned. Shouldn't result in the loss of anything.

If you had iOS 7 BETA installed, just go to developer.apple.com and log in using your developer account. There are discussions about this issue. Otherwise... for non-developers, I'm afraid you're on your on. Use Google.

My ipad mini keeps rebooting over and over again, even after a total reset. what to do?

I have my ipad mini since christmas 2012 and it was working like a charm.
But a few weeks ago it rebooted out of nowhere, and now it reboots like every 5 minutes average.
Sometimes it wont boot up properly and boot 3 times in a row, i sometimes even have to force it to reboot by holding the home+lock button.
I reset my ipad and then restored from a back up but it didn't stop.
Today I reset mty ipad again without restoring from anything, just blanc, like out of the box, installed facebook and youtube app and a few minutes later it rebooted again.
I think i've tried anything but maybe you can help me.

now im back i see that my ipad gave a blue screen :'(

It only gives me the option of signing in and when I do that I get an error message telling me that either my user name or password for my email is incorrect; even though I have been using my correct my apple ID in the password entry area. My apple ID works for every thing else. Please, can you help in this case?

Ipad mini freezes at syncing point 4. Brand new, only got for Christmas. No clue how to move on.

Tried to upload books, but now ipad mini freezes when I try and connect it, ie it says it is syncing, but then does nothing and the task manager says that itunes is not responding. Please, please help.

My ipad mini freezes occasionally while just browsing on the Internet and hitting e sle/wake button or home button doesn't do anything. The screen is just frozen on the current page I was on. It won't even shut off by holding the sleep/wake button like you would normally do. The only response is will respond to is holding the sleep/wake while simultaneously holding the home button, which will in about 10 seconds shut the device off. What's going on?!

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Also, I am trying to connect my Mini from the mini-Displayport to the Displayport of my Dell U2410 monitor. The image is very grainy,even though it is set to the correct resolution: 1920 X 1200 at 60Hz. If I use HDMI to VGA input, the image is much clearer. Is there a way to get the Displayport to work?

I'm having exactly the same keyboard issue. Certainly nothing has ever enhanced my concentration while coding like suddenly becoming unable to type.
I'm seeing a great many devicemgr and rake errors in my system log. I don't know if they're related. How 'bout you?
If you're unfamiliar with the system log…
Open /Applications/Utilities/Console.
If necessary, choose View > Show Log List.
system.log is at the top of the FILES section.
Try searching it for hot words like DEBUG, FATAL, and aborted.
I've found some discussions that would tend to indicate my errors are postGres related – I'm running OS X server.

As long as the indian carriers support the correct frequencies it should. Note, that warranty and service will not be valid outside of the country of purchase, so you would need to return to Malaysia to get it serviced.
Other than that most iPads are unlocked for use with sim cards from any compatible GSM carrier.
Note, that if the carrier you wish to use it on is CDMA, they will likely not activate a device that was not registered to them originally during manufacturing.
I suggest contacting the carrier you wish to use, to make sure they can give you a sim card with service for the iPad.

Reboot your iPad and see if that lets it start up properly.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If this doesn't work, you may have to restore your iPad using iTunes on your computer.

It's usually just a problem when the app crashes and then you tap it again and then it closes and opens again, it will usually stop after a few times. If this is happening while you are in an app and it crashes and does that, it's no problem, just wait a couple of seconds and play the app again, nothing will happen. It's no biggie, don't even sweat it, it rarely happens. Besides, it's happened to me too, it does no damage to your IPad mini.
