I can't open my tooncamera app in my iPad mini. I already deleted and dowloaded it again. What should I do?

    Hello Neigilray,
It sounds like you have removed and re downloaded it from the App Store, but when you tap the app icon it still will not launch. If you haven't already, I would delete the app just 1 more time then restart the iPad Mini:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device until the red slider appears. Then drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

Then install the app again and re test it. if the issue persists, I would next back up your phone to your iTunes library and restore it then test it out again:

    Try calibrating the home button.
Open a stock app like Calendars or Notes.
Hold the power button until the red slider switch appears.
When it appears release the power button and press the home button until the home screen appears.
Hopefully your home button now works.

  • IPad mini home button replacement cost?

I'm out of warranty , how much is the cost to change the home button on an iPad mini and the time it takes to repair

I would assume that the Home button replacement would fall under Apple's fixed repair rate of $199 (out of warranty)
    https://www.apple.com/support/ipad/repair/other/
In the interim of replacing your Home button, you can use AssistiveTouch which floats a virtual button on-screen which can mimic all hardware buttons on the device, including the Home button.
I personally use AssistiveTouch all the time, just to prevent wear and tear on my Home button...I seldom use the actual hardware Home button...you can even do a device reset (press & hold both Home and Sleep/Wake buttons for ~15 seconds) using the AssistiveTouch button if your Home button is bad (but not if your Sleep/Wake button is bad).
    Settings>General>Accessibility>AssistiveTouch: turn ON
*Note* If you power off the device using the AssistiveTouch panel (tap the on-screen AssistiveTouch button, Device>Lock Screen (tap and hold to power off)), you will NOT be able to power on the device if your Sleep/Wake (power) button is not functioning. You will need to connect the powered off device either to a PC's USB port or an external charger to power the device back on.

  • IPad mini home button loose

I received an iPad mini for Christmas. Using it last night I feel the home button slightly moving a bit if my thumb moves back and forth on it, as if it is loose a bit. Is this normal?

It may be normal, but without being able to test it myself I can't say. The home button on my iPad (not a mini) does have a bit of play to it. If you are concerned, make an appointment ot take the iPad to an Apple Store, if there's one in your area, and have them check it out. Or visit an iPad dealer and check out how other iPad minis feel.
    Regards.

  • Ipad mini home button

i bought an ipad mini, but the home button feels weird.... I actually can feel it when I slide my finger at the bottom. it is sticking up. is this a problem, flaw, issue?
    anyone else?

Sounds like you either damaged the Home button in the repair of the screen or you missed plugging something in...it could be any number of things.
If you want, you can try and enable AssistiveTouch which floats a virtual button on-screen which can mimic all hardware buttons on the device, including the Home Button. It may be able to return the Home Button's *function* to the device via AssistiveTouch's on-screen virtual button, but it won't *fix* the hardware Home Button.

  • IPad Mini Home button - Film?

On the iPad Mini is there a screen/film protector over the home button? Because I've noticed a small blemish on the home button and don't want to try and peel something off that isn't there.
    Cheers

Mine did not have a film protector on the home button

  • My iPad mini home button doesn't work all the time

When I click the home button on my ipad, it doesn't do anything. If I try a few more times then it will work once or twice. But not all the time.

    Calibrate Home button
    1. Open a stock application e.g. Calendar or Youtube
    2. Hold down the power button until the "slide to power off" control appears
    3. as soon as you see it, press the home button and keep it pressed until the red slider disappears and the app is force quit to the home menu

  • Ipad Mini Home Button Broken

My daughters ipad was bought in November 2012 and the home button has broken, when I say broken its not frozen or anything it simply doesn't click.  Now I know that its out of warranty but this is defective hardware in my opinion, anyone know if they'll replace it?  We've got two iPhones, three iPads and two iPods and this is the first incident of its kind.

If it has been like it since you bought it, you should have taken it back. If it is still in warranty, take it back, if it is not, there is little you can do except to pay for an out of warranty repair.

  • HT3226 Home button of my iPhone not responding quick. What should I do ?

Home button of my iPhone not responding . What should I do?

Turn it off and back on, otherwise take it in for service.

  • My iPod Touch 4G's home button totally doesn't work, or click. What should I do?

Well, I'm pretty sure I got a dud iPod. My batttery life started out ok then went to heck. Shortly before my warranty ran out I sent it in to Apple to get it fixed, I'm pretty sure they didn't do anything. Then, shortly after my warranty ran out, my home button needed to be pushed at the very top to work. Then, It just stopped functioning at all. I replaced the screen, and I also replaced the home button, that didn't help. Anyone have any ideas to fix it? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  • My home button on my iPhone 3gs is very hard what should i do???

I am having a problem with my iPhone 3gs home button it is very hard and misses a lot what should i do??? Pls advice.

If it is still in warrenty i would just take it to the apple store and let them look at it. However if not i could recommend going on amazon and getting an iPhone repair kit and opening the iPhone up to reposition the home button in the phone which may fix your problem.
