How can I switch off find my iPhone in order to restore it through iTunes?

I also tried to remove the device from icloud but still wont let me restore through iTunes as it says I need to switch it off through my ipad but that's inpossible!!

This is an iPad user to user forum, so you are not addressing Apple. You probably forgot to connect something or damaged something.
Try this - Some iPad users have been able to revive their dropped iPad. Turn the iPad over and give it a HARD SLAP on the back. May take several slaps.

IPad mini screen not working / water damage

I had my iPad mini and a bottle of water i in my bag - water started leaking. When I realised the iPad was still working (it was a bit wet but wiped it off and tested it and it was working), I removed the case and put it in a dry bag. Came back home and tried to use it. The screen lit up for 2 secs and then went dark. The iPad is still working - when I press the home button and the power button I can hear the "taking picture" sound. The screen however remains black.... Any idea what I need to do? Thank you, Eleni

You really should not turn the iPad on until it is totally dry. Turn it off, if it will turn off. Get a bag and fill it with uncooked white rice. Place the iPad in the bag for 48 hours and let the rice draw the water out of the iPad. You need enough rice to cover the iPad. After 48 hours, remove the iPad, if it still seems to have some dampness, get more rice and try it again.
When you think it is finally dry enough to try, power it back up again And see how it goes. A better alternative, IMO, would be to take the iPad to an Apple Store and let them inspect it after you dry it out and before you turn it on again.

just this morning, i accidentally drop my iPad on the hardwood floor of my house. now when i turn it on, the screen of the iPad is full of multicolors in lines and it moves around. i tried turning it off so i can turn it back on, but the screen is still the same. Its weird because i dropped it like 3 times and its in its case. it was unlikely for it to be like this now. But it seems as if the iPad itself is still working because when i charge it, it still makes the same beep when you charge it.. it just seems like the screen is broken. im not really sure if myself dropping it is the cause of the problem cause it fell down with the screen facing up at the ceiling. Sounds like there is some hardware damage after the most recent drop regardless if dropped face down or not.
If no change after the standard troubleshooting steps which in order are:
1. Power your iPad off and on.
2. An iPad reset.
3. Restore your iPad with iTunes from your iPad's backup.
4. Restore your iPad with iTunes as a new iPad or not from your iPad's backup.
Your iPad has some hardware damage. Accidental damage is not covered under the warranty.

Ipad mini screen not working??

so i picked up my ipad mini today and tried to turn it on but nothing happened.   i thought maybe the battery was dead so i plugged it in but it still wouldnt turn on. i hooked it up to my macbook and it made the noise acknoweldging that it was plugged in but nothing appeared on the screen. my macbook said it has 100% battery life. i tried to reset it by holding the top and home button but nothing happened, no apple symbol appeared. i held down the home button and i can hear siri's voice and she can still find stuff for me but i still have a blank screen? it seems the ipad is functioning properly just not the screen? please help! my ipad is brand new, only 3 months old, and i take good care of it!

You can always try to reset your device and see if it helps matters any:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

Why did my iPad Mini screen start glitching out of no where?! Hard reset did not fix issue... Which I could barely see the display at it was.. Please help..

Has the unit EVER been jailbroke? Has it EVER been dropped? Did it EVER get excessively wet? Did you EVER load a pirated developer's version of the IOS?
If "No" to all the above, first try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this.

Hi, i just shocked when i recognized, my Ipad mini screen full of scratches, after playing Virtual table tennis app...I have a griffin hard cover, and i always keep in safe my staff, ...so I did the scratches with my neal...wich i think is abnormal, in this case....
I saw a few youtube videos and they try to make scratches with key...andsoon...

You can either put a screen protector over it and ignore it, pay the $219+ for an out of warranty replacement or if you have apple care plus, cash in one of your $49 dollar accidental damage events and get a replacement.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I lent on my ipad mini screen in the bottom corner and now there are loads of vertical and horizontal lines on the screen which block the view. Would this be an LCD replacement or external glass replacement. Does anyone have any experience of this and how did they fix the ipad.

My IPad mini screen will not unlock. It was fine one minute and the next, I couldn't slide it to unlock it.

Does anything happen when you touch the screen, the slider doesn't get a box around it (which would indicate VoiceOver being 'on') ?
If not then have you tried a soft-reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
