My ipad model A1416 will not take the ios 7.0.4/6 update

My ipad A1416 will not take the update, the error message I receive says that Im no longer connected to the internet. That clearly is not the problem.

Have you tried a reset (different from just restarting)
Hold down on both the Home button AND the Sleep/Wake button for about 10 seconds until you get to the black screen and see the Apple logo. Then let go of both buttons. This "reset" fixes a lot of weird iPad issues and might fix yours.
After restarting, try running the update. If it still doesn't run, try the steps in this support article: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1398

Thanks for the screenshot. It's very helpful. Essentially, this is an issue with the internet security settings on your machine (Internet Explorer > Internet Options > Security), and not a Flash Player issue. I Googled "internet security settings prevented one or more files from opening' and it returned numerous hits. I'm posting a few for you, however, I'm not endorsing any of them. I recommend you search your self and select one you feel comfortable with.

When I try to reset my primary email for my apple id, the apple application reverts back to an email address that is no longer active -- it will not take the new address -- but it has taken my alternate address.

I am trying to reset my apple id -- my iphone defaults to an apple id that is not valid any more. I have tried to reset my apple id using my computer -- and that seems to work but my iphone still default to the old apple id and when I try to reset my primary email on the apple website, it will not accept it and tells me that my old email address is verified -- but it is no longer valid. Use Safari and you will probably not have the same problem.

When I pluged my iPhone into my lap top pc. My i tunes recognized that it needed updating, and when it started to up date, about half way through, an error poped up, causing my iPhone to stop functioning.
The reason is, because it is notcompatible with the new ios 6, the phone can not be up dated any more. Now this is what I need. It is not possible. Further, the iPhone 3GS is capable of running iOS 6.

iTunes can access CDDB for track information after a CD has been imported into iTunes by using the Advanced menu option I mentioned in my previous post.
If you want to check it out, import a CD when you're not connected to the internet - or with Automatically retrieve CD track names from internet unchecked in your iTunes Importing Preferences.
After the CD has been imported there will be no track information included. But if you then select the tracks - all together, one at a time or in any combination you desire - and select Get CD Track Names, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

Why would you get help from Apple? You need to contact your credit card company and find out why the security code is invalid.

Due to my account being hacked, I changed my Apple ID, I did not create a new account. Now my software updates want the old ID but will not accept the password. How can I update built in software.

My orginal Apple ID was hacked, so I changed my Apple ID. I did not create a new ID. I have changed my ID on my profile on my MacBook Pro. However now I have an update for factory installed software iPhoto and iMovie that is asking for the old ID. How can I get the updates or force them to use the new ID that I am using for every other Apple product I own.
