My iPad refuses to turn on... HELP THIS IS URGENT!
Just thismorning i had my iPad 2 working fine... until it ran out of charge. Yes, I put it on the charger. Once it had been charging for about 30 minutes, i attempted to switch it on, but the apple logo sign never moved. At some times, the iPad returned to the normal unlock screen, but when i did, it froze and the frozen apple sign appeared again.
I thought that maybe plugging it into my computer backup source would help... Well, it kinda helped but the iPad is reacting as if it is brand new and its name is now ''iPad'' when clearly, before i had this problem, it was named ''Nicole's iPad''.
Please help, this is urgent! I have school on Tuesday and if it is not repaired by then, my assignments and homework will be lost. Thankyou
Try to hard boot it by pressing home key and power key at same time and keep them pressed to the count of one to fifteen.
And wait for few minutes it will work
If its not working yet then connect it iTunes and update it to iOS 6,
Before updating do not forget to back up your iPad

If you are sure that the battery didn't die on you and that the battery has some power left in it, reboot the iPad and see if it starts up.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

ChrisIs the battery empty - it can take up to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond. And how long did you hold the sleep and home buttons ? For a reset you need need to hold them for about 10 to 15 seconds.

IPod Mini Refuses to Turn on {HELP!!}
I have had my iPod mini for almost a year now.It has always worked and been wonderful up till last week. I tried to turn it on, and it wouldn't work. So I got on this site and I looked up what others did.
I made sure that there was no other device hooked up to the USB and then connected (it didn't turn on). I tried to charge using the wall cord charger (it didn't turn on). I tried to "reset" it by leaving it be for 24 hours before trying to charge it again (it didn't turn on). I check to see if the hold button was on before attempting any of the solutions, and it wasn't...so I know that it's not that.
I also read about battery drainage, but my iPod won't even turn on and it wasn't showing any of the symptoms that battery drainage has (saying it's charged and then dieing).
I haven't dropped my iPod in a very long time either.I'm really worried that it's permanently damaged.
I really can't afford another iPod, so I am depending on you guys, please, any advice might help.

I have created a grid using JSP and HTML which has three columns and multiple rows. The cells are actually the text boxes and their names are EmpNo, Value1, and value2.
And every row's column's control name is same.

Can anybody guide me how can I access a value from a specific row and specific control. I am having problem because each column control name is same.
I know its possible in ASP using count method, because in ASP when you create a control with a same name, the ASP generates an array and it keeps the array name as control name, so that you can access the value through its subscript number. I was trying to do the same thing in JSP but couldn't do that.

Just to address my first posts.
1) The subject line is very annoying
2) Asking for people to email you is not on
3) The code is crap. It's unbearable lengthy and the more I looked at it the more I cringed. As you yourself noted in your reply more methods would be a good start. Even if hero were to get the program in it's current form to work then as a grade it gets no better than a D and possibly an F anyway.
So while I think encouragement is fine and noble there are sometimes you have to call a spade a spade. The OP (_hero_) if he wants help here needs to be prepared to interact on the forum in a communally acceptable fashion (see 1 and 2) and to start from scratch with his code (see 3). While this may not be what the OP wanted to hear playing pollyanna about it is counter-productive.
All I did was give my advice to the guy and now IM
getting torn to pieces by prometheuzzzzzzz and
marcrules.
Look:
1) I taught myself Java and I didn't learn the
conventions properly (at all).
2) I can't indent code directly in the java forum
message editor.
3) When I write my posts I often dont test them
because they're pseudo-code so they dont need to be
made in Eclipse or JCreator or w/e.There is a lot of whining going on here. Just take the advice given for what it is worth. Learn conventions. Start indenting. Stop using an IDE (for now).
Above all stop taking it so personally. If you post code that is crap on this site more often then not someone will point it out. Subtly or un-subtly as the case may be.
4) Stop being so violent towards people when they're

I've created web application in ASP.NET and I'm connecting to one of our Oracle server which resides in other country. I only have read access to it. I can only do select statements.
After couple of months that the application was running, their database admin told me that my application was creating session locks in the database.
I only have 4 select statements that's connection to their oracle server. Below one of the query that I'm using.

l have a 2540 all in one printer and have just had to reinstall because the Hp support doctor advised it after l couldn't get the printer to print properly it would print a test page but then wouldn't print a written document, then when l tried to print a test page after hp doc advised a nozzle clean l got a blank page?, l then tried to print a web page which came out fine but when l tried printing a copy of that it came out with portions missing?

Please print a test page and evaluate it- can you see any color as the included sample?
Load clean, white U.S. Letter or A4 paper in the input tray, if necessary.
Touch and hold the Power button ( ), and then press the Cancel button ( ).
Let go of the Cancel button and then the Power button. The test page prints.
Check the estimated ink level graphics on the test page.

If you see any print quality issues with either the Black or the Color part of this printed sheet, remove the cartridge which show print quality defect from the printer, then print the document while the printer in Single-Cartridge mode to get your document ready. (For ex.:if you see any issues with the Magenta, Cyan or Yelow remove the Tri-Color cartridge)

Before posting gui issues, please use a newer API, even jdk1.1 would be fine, anything would be better than what your using.

Three week old iPad won't turn off. Has words on the screen that say:

Firstly, try a hard reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears.
If this doesn't work, try restoring your device. Put it in recovery mode if iTunes doesn't recognise it, and restore it from there. I have linked to instructions below.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.
