My iPad say 99% charged after overnight charging! Is this normal?

I just calm my iPad about week ago, I always charging my iPad overnight after I using in the day. I found that my iPad always say 99% after overnight charging. Is this normal condition? And what should I do to make it shows 100% charged ?

baHave you tried turning the "Battery Percentage" indicator off and back on: Settings>General>Usage, turn it off, then back on.
Cheers,
GB

My ipad says disabled.  How do I fix this?

Because of a forgotten passcode? If that's the reason read the following and Pay attention to the Recovery Mode link.
You have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.

  • Ipad says it needs to be charged but i have charged it all night still willnt come on

My ipad has chraged all night and it says battery is dead.  and will not come on. please help.

Are you using the wall charger?
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
    http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. • My ipod touch is not charging after I charged it to incompatible charger and its getting hot when i charge it

after i plug my ipod touch 4g to the battery of my motorcycle using invented charger it 'reads battery charging is not supported with this accessory'...after a while my battery get empty and when I charge it using original apple charger it won't charge and getting overheat and I saw only a battery logo and current symbol z. Please help me how to fix this problem. Thanks to all...

    See the not-charging topic of:
    iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting
    Have you tried another cable?
Another charging source? Does iTunes see the iPod when you connect to your computer?
Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, foreign material and cracked or broken plastic.
An appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store would be next.

  • Slow charge after not charging at all

I had my electrics shut off while my laptop was on charge today, due to having a light repaired, when they were turned back on my laptop started losing battery and said "Plugged in. Not charging".
I turned the laptop off and removed the battery and put it back in, it's now charging but extremely slowly. It's managed about 30% in the last hour and a half with just facebook in the background whereas before I could have a game running and it would of been fully charged by now.
Is it the charger or my battery that's knackered? and how can it be fixed? Thanks.

That shouldnt' be an issue. the biggest problem that I know of using non-ipad connections is that an iPod charger doesn't put out enough wattage.
Since it connects to the computer its' probably not the USB connection on the iPad, but is possibly your power brick. I'd take it to the retailer that sold it to you, or an Apple store, let them trouble shoot and confirm that it may be the brick. They should replace it but if they won't, then you can take it up with Apple itself (for example best buy may not replace just the charger but apple should)

  • Ipad stops charging after it charges??? !!!

Hello, I have a problem and I would appreciate any help. I have an ipad (ipad 1) that I've been using for 2 years, it worked perfectly and the battery lasts for hours, suddently, the ipad battery doesn't charge anymore, when the battery drains, it is turned off and starts charging the battery, but just after it starts again (battery at 2%) it doesn't charge anymore, also the ipad is not recognized in iTunes when I connect it to the USB port. This are some things I've done:
    - iTunes and iPad have the latest version.
    - Turned off and on again the ipad.
    - Hard reseted it (pressing and holding both buttons until it restarts).
    - Tested all my ports, both in a PC and in a Mac.
    - Tested with two USB cables. I have an Iphone, it charges, connects to iTunes with both cables, but not the Ipad.
    - Tested connecting directly to a power source. Again, my iphone charges perfectly with both cables connected to a power source but not the Ipad.
    - I turned off the iPad, but had it connected about 40 minutes to a power source, and after I turn it on again, the battery is charged at 4% (looks that it charges while the OS is turned off).
It is strange to me that when the battery is drained and the ipad turns off, the screen shows the icon of the battery, a plug + right arrow + thunder symbol, after I plug to a power source or a USB port, the plug icon disappears (sounds to me that it recognizes the power source) and it seems that the ipad starts charging because after 15-20 minutes the OS starts again, however, after it starts, the upper right side of the screen doesn't show the the charging symbol and there is not a "Not charging" message, just the icon of the battery with 2% left, until the battery is drained again.
Hope someone can help me with this. Thanks in advance...

Meg is correct, based on all you have done it sounds like a failed battery.  Since it starts to charge, the cable and connector should be ok.  The battery itself has probably failed, could be the charging circuit but since the battery starts to charge and then stops, more likely the battery.
Best to take it, along with the charger and cable, to an Apple genius bar and have the techs run somr tests...they will be able to tell very quickly where the fault is and discuss options with you.  Do you have AppleCare on the iPad?  If so, may be covered under that warranty.
If you go to a genius bar, call ahead and make an appointment so you don't spend a long period waiting for someone to get free.

  • I phone 6 will not start after overnight charge.

Plugged my I phone 6 into AC charge and powered down for the night.  This morning after disconnecting from charger came up with very large size text and number keyboard.  I cannot log my code into phone because the numbers are two large to fit the screen.  Please tell me if others have had this problem and how they fixed it.

Tap on the screen with three fingers
Then you may want to go into settings - general - accessibility - change or turn off zoom settings

  • Continue charging after full charge?

    Hello!
I\ve just bought an iPhone an I have one question regarding the battery and charging. I want to charge iPhone via dock + charger and I need to iPhone always in the dock. I want to know principle of charging - when the battery is full and iPhone is fully charged is he continue charge the battery or it just turn off the battery and start to work from charger? I mean when my macbook connected to a charger it works from 220V and charge the battery in the same moment. When the battery is full macbook just turn off the battery and charging and start work from 220V. I ask it because many phones (nokia, siemens) work from battery all the time and keep charging when the battery is full. It's no good for battery life. I just want my iPhone to be charged always when I'm at home but don't want to make battery capacity smaller
    Thanx

I used the same process with my iphone I learned a long time ago.
1 -When you first buy a iphone, run the charge down to 10% the first three times and then charge it to 100% without using it.
2- After that, just charge every night, all night.
3-Put on your calendar to repeat #1 at least once a month.
This works like a charm. I barely use 50% of battery all day with constant email, phone usage, internet browsing, and ipod use. I do not turn off blue tooth or wifi and still get plenty of battery life.
This process works like a charm.

  • Can not connect to google on Mac mini or iPad, says Ido not have a certificate. This problem started after installing latest operating system

Cannot Connect to google on iPad or Mac. Mini says I do not have a certificate. What is the problem and how can I fix it.

I have Maverick on my iMac and haven't noticed any connection or any other issues. Also, that won't have any affect on your mobile devices.
Most likely an issue with your router or isp.
Try rebooting your modem and  router (if applicable)  by unplugging it for 5-10min.
At the same time, reboot mac and both/all mobile devices by pressing and holding both the home and sleep/wake buttons at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen.

  • How do I fix my scrabble for iPad, which crashes now after I updated it this am?

I just updated my Scrabble for iPad this morning, now it crashes while loading and I don't know the solution to this. any ideas? Thanks

If the item is crashing after an update this is likely to be a problem only the software developers can fix. Go to the App page for the Scrabble and look for any Developer/Support links, and send feedback.

  • The last time I recharged the battery from power outlet it took 18 hours. IPad is only one month old.  Is this normal?

How long should it take to recharge iPad 2 battery from power outlet?

Presuming you're using the iPad power brick and not an ipod's or other 5W one, 8 hours give or take (i do it overnight so I honestly can't give an exact answwer. ANd it also depends on how low it was when you started.
Do you get a 'not charging' up by the battery meter?

  • IPad Air HDMI - outputting at 4:3, is this normal?

    Hi
I have just bought a Lightning to HDMI lead to use with my iPad Air, but the output doesn't fill my TV screen - it's just 4:3. I know the resolution of the iPad is 4:3, but I thought that the output would fill my TV. Can anyone help?
    Thanks

Thanks for the response. Are you aware of a good media player that will play MKV files in full HD on my TV?
    Cheers

  • My iPad is buzzing. Brand new. Is this normal?

Device started buzzing at around 30% battery capacity. Is this dangerous or normal? I can feel it in my hands. The iPad isn't hot when it's doing it, but I have been using it for 4 hours.

"buzzing" is not a good sign.  Try a reset and see if it goes away.  if it continues, call apple or visit a store.
(As long as you are sure that this is not a notification from some app)
do the reset by pressing and holding the home and sleep buttons until the apple logo appears.  ignore the red slider.
