How do I reset my iPad password when it say my password has expired and won't let me log on?

If the iPad is disabled, then the only option is to restore the iPad to the factory defaults. The articles below will explain how to take care of that and sort you out.

Rudegar is so right, all you do is go the SETTINGS/iTunes & App Store, then select `Apple ID` `Sign Out` then you get the chance to enter your new ID, and it worked a treat!
Good luck with anyone else with this problem, as I spent so long on this, really stupid!

They don't expire. As far as anyone knows Apple IDs live on forever - if you forgot its password use https://iforgot.apple.com. Good luck with the answers to whatever security questions it asks.

Right! That's the reason you do not create a new Apple ID.
As far as Apple is concerned a new Apple ID is a completely different user, with absolutely, positively no access to anything available to any other Apple ID.
Concentrate your efforts on resetting the password to your old Apple ID. It has not expired, and is the only way to use all your existing iTunes purchases, App Store purchases, computer authorizations... etc. Forget about the new Apple ID you just created. -

all my applications are in trial mode. I paid for my student plan and still cant install, keeps saying that my trial has expired and then asks me for serial number which i never recieved. i dont know what to do

I bought Pages on Appstore, but when I quit the soft Pages, I get a window saying my test period has expired, and propose to buy it. I tried to install again in appstore, but same result - thanks
It used to be that to update the trial to the licensed version with the box, you just inserted the DVD & ran the installer to convert the trial to licensed. This changed with Snow Leopard. You now need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip. -

I have the same problem. It says trial is expired, so I select the "sign in now" button. After sign in, it comes up with a place to enter a serial number. The only two other options are "back" and "next".

My iPad says that she is busy and is unable to accept my request even when everything is closed and nothing is being used. What might be the problem here? 3 times my iPad has crashed while nothing was open or running and a small loading wheel would be moving signifying that the thing was loading something without permission. Even when the dang thing was on my personal wireless service that I pay for.
similar to what is happening to me....the difference is, after restoring itunes detect ipod and ask to restore again and again....
I know it may look kinda stupid but: just leave the ipod there for about 2 minutes, that's about the time my itunes is taking to detect my ipod...if it doesn't work, try connecting ur ipod to other computer with itunes (no need to sync, just to check if itunes will recognize) to check if the problem is with the ipod or with the itunes and/or computer. -

Been using my iPhone 4 for days with iOS 5. Got off a call and not it wants be to reactivate for some reason. so I go to iTunes to reactivate. It says the "The software on the iPhone has expired and must be upgraded to a newer version" so I click the update button in iTunes and it says it's up to date but still can't activate. HELP!!!!!
That's because you put a Beta version of iOS 5.0 on your phone. All the iOS 5.0 betas have expired. You'll have to restore your phone in iTunes to re-activate it.
