My iPad synched to an old back up on my laptop. How can I restore it?

I synched my iPad with iTunes and it replaced everything with an old version of what I backed up on the laptop. How can I restore it? Please help!!!!

Im a apple developer I would go back it up then reset it.

Does your purchased rmusic appears under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) ? If they do and you don't have the cloud symbol against them so as to re-download them, then do you still have the entries for them in your library i.e. where you would normally click on them to play them ? If you do then try deleting them from there (iTunes will be seeing them and assuming that you still have them somewhere) and they should then get the cloud symbol for re-downloading in the Purchased link.

My old MacBook Pro crashed before I could back up my iTunes. How can I restore all my music from that computer to my iTunes on my new computer?

My old MacBook Pro (2007) crashed on me before I had backed up all of my music on my iTunes to another source (my iPod has also crashed so I cannot use the iPod to sync all my music). I now have a new Windows 8 laptop and have downloaded iTunes onto it with my Apple ID. Is there any way for me to recover all of my songs from my old iTunes account and put them in my new iTunes? I had thousands of songs and would like to recover them if possible. Is the only way to do this by getting an external hard drive and paying someone to get all that information off my crashed computer onto the external hard drive?

You can transfer songs that you didn't buy from the iTunes store but it requires third party software such as Suneti. This is one of the best programs I know for the task and unfortunately I'm not aware of any freeware programs that transfer music from an iOS device to the computer.

HT1766 I did 2 back ups on one date. how can I restore from first back up from same date? I don't see in my list of back ups as 2nd back up overtook first back up.

I was syncing my iphone with itune and there was a update which system started downloading then something happened and i had to restart my computer. when i restarted my computer, itune started backing up my iphone eventhought there was nothing left on it. now this second back up overtook my first back up
and in that process i can not back up to my first back up (as its from same date i guess) I have lost all my contacts. If you are in the US then you should be able to download some or all of your films : re-downloading. If you are not in the US then have you not got them on your computer's iTunes and/or on a backup ?

First, your husband can create his own Apple ID via the web, computer, or iPad, if he hasn't already:

Next, he can sign out of the Apple services that are currently using your Apple ID on your old iPad, and sign in with his own.

In technical support, sometimes you have to make educated guesses. I'm sorry that you were offended.
iTunes does prompt when it is going to erase a device, and the message is clear.
She said in her message that she was able to successfully sync the old ipad. This indicated to me that itunes wiping the data was not an issue, because either it had been setup at the apple store (in which case it doesn't actually wipe the ipad despite saying it will*) (*based on a single case I saw), or because the itunes media folder was migrated.
Furthermore, my solution was to tell her how to backup her ipad (by either doing it manually, or as a last resort, by deleting the corrupt backup -- that she couldn't access anyway.)
I got that last part of the instructions from the "Taking Control of your iphone" book which I found samples of when I did a google search for "corrupted backup itunes".
She marked this as a solution, so it worked for her.

I installed iCloud for the pc and can see the backup up in the cloud. I just want to get all the data to the new phone.

When you go through the new phone setup, it should ask if you want to setup as new or restore from iCloud. If you have already setup as new, you will have to reset the 4S to factory settings, and go through setup again.

- Try on another computer/network

If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPad by tapping on the id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPad. If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps.

Find your serial number quickly
You can activate software without following up and registering it... at least that was the case in the past. The serial number is normally located on the disc case or a box inside the main box. If you did not purchase the disc from Adobe then it is possible you would have dealt with a redemption code, in which case it would have been up to you to keep a record of the serial number, especially if you did not follow up and register the software.
