My ipad want keep a charge what should i do ?, my ipad want keep a charge what should i do ?
Every time I put my ipad on the charger it never says charging or anything. I was wondering if I take it to the apple store what will they do?
1. Charge the battery overnight using the charger that came with the iPad. Do not use an iPhone charger. Do not use an iPod charger.
2. Operate the iPad until it shuts down automatically. Ignore any "low battery level" warnings that occur.
How long did it operate?

My iPad mini has a charger that has gold material and it looks like it is corroded and I can't get it to charge because it says "not charging" and I got it for christmas so I don't know what to do.
Doesn't really matter. Take the device and cord into your Apple Store. It is under warranty, and if it is the cord they will replace it.
If you think the port may have some debris in it, then take a soft, clean toothbrush, and gently brush it to clean it out, then try to charge again. If that doesn't work, then be sure to back everything up before going to the Apple Store in case they determine that the device itself needs to be replaced.

I recently bought an ipad 2 and wanted to use all the apps on my iphone4 on my ipad but have been charged for the first app I downloaded when I use the same apple id. What should I have done to share the apps and should I have been charged? 2 months ago when I got a new iphone, i was told in order to get all my apps back as I hadn't backed up my files, if I used the same apple id I would 'purchase' the app, but then would not be charged as apple would recognise that I have already purchased the app. That worked, but when I did the same thing on my ipad 2 using the same apple Id, I was charged... what should I have done and is this right as I thought the whole point of having multiple apple devices was I could share apps between devices. please help! thanks.
Using the same Apple id and Password you should be able to download purchased apps without being charged again.
I download to an iPad/iPad2/iPhone3 & iPhone4 with no problem. -
My iPad mini doesn't seem to connect on the pc. Every time I try to connect it my iPad always say that it's not charging.. What should I do to be able to connect it. Please help as I'm a new user.thnx
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. My iPad keeps telling me that I am up to date with iOS 5.1.1. What do I need to do to download and install iOS 6?
You appear to have a first generation iPad, which isn't capable of running iOS 6. To tell for certain, append the last three characters of its serial number to http://www.everymac.com/ultimate-mac-lookup/?search_keywords= and load the page.

Hey (: I have the new iPad and I want to ask what is "healthier" for the battery : turn the device off in the night or keep it on during the night ? Thank you !
BTW, statements like
"Use the device until the battery has drained to the point of self-shutdown. Basically, use it until it turns itself off."
in articles like the one at http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/ are complete BS and if you do follow their "advice", your battery life will be severely hampered. Particularly if you also follow one of the comments: "Step One.One: Leave the device for 5+ hours before start charging. This will fully drain the battery." Well, the guy that advised the latter certanly doesn't know anyhting about lithium batteries and the damage deep discharging does to them.
Again, what the article (and the above-cited comment) advices is complete b*llsh*t and noone should really do this. -
I would like to setup my eldery parents with an imac and ipad which I know will greatly help them in their daily life. The technology they love to play with whenever I visit, but they can never keep anything running or sync'ed unless I am around. Medical and other issues make this a real challenge for them. Unfortunately, I live in a different country and see them maybe once per year. I'm surrounded my apple products but never tried remote administration and wondered what I would need (software and hardware) to make this noble venture sucessful. Anyone out there has some experience or recommendations? I'm looking for something that is simple and reliable to implement ...
JokerGirl,
This is Scott J, I work for Intel and wanted to try and help you out. Sorry to hear about your current PC and your knee!
I agree with the bigger screen. I have the Samsung ATIV Smart PC with a screen 11.6" which is great to watch shows/movies! anything bigger is almost too big for a tablet (personal opinion).
Yes, most if not all tablets will have speakers and a headphone jack
You can watch YouTube
Only certain models have keyboards, you will want to specify this when making a purchase. Note: most keyboards are sold separately.
Covers are usually pretty easy to come buy, as well as screen protectors (clear plastic that covers and protects your screen from scratches, etc.)
Depending on the Operating System (Windows, Android, etc.) you will have access to an app store where you can buy and download content. Alternatively you can access your favorite sites to read news, get books, magazines, etc.
Hooking things to your tablet - different tablets will have different ports (USB, HDMI, etc.) Question to ask prior to making a purchase as some do not have ports (iPad). Back to my Samsung, I have several ports and do hook it to my TV
Tablets can run anywhere from $150-$1,000. The mid-range $400-$700 should fulfill all of your needs above and more!
Here's an article that might help you narrow down your search: http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/gadgets/high-tech-gadgets/5-tips-for-choosing-the-right-tablet....

Hello everyone!i got a problem about this used ipad2 that i had bought from a friend of my friend.the problem is i cannot activate it i asked my friend to contact the previous owner..according to my friend the previous owner had already removed the device from his account..but still it keeps on asking me to enter the email and password..what should i do now?maybe the previous owner didn't want to give me his Email add ppassword for his own personal reason..please help me this ipad has been in here since April 2014..thank you
The person who sold you the device can remove the ID without giving it to you. Follow the steos in "What to do if you no longer have the device." In the artcle below. If you can't find the person or they won't do it you're stuck with a unusable device.

I hope you have a backup if you don't want to lose your iPad contents. You have to restore the iPad now using iTunes on your computer. That's what the message on the screen means.
Take a look at this.

hello, my ipad mini doent work i charged it till the next day and it didn't work i charged it again till the next day and it didn't work what should i do i didn't use my ipad for three days please i need help????
Didn't work in what way. Are you unable to start it up? Does it start but then freezes? Does the screen stay black when you turn it on?
Try this - press the home and power buttons and keep pressing them until the apple logo appears. -
My Ipod touch (3rd generation I believe) keeps losing charge really fast after I charge it and when it's charging the apple symbol keeps popping up. Also, when I plug it into my computer it doesn't show up on my iTunes. What should I do?
Start here.
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Device not recognized in iTunes for Mac OS X
When you get iTunes to see the iPod try the standrd fixes to rule out a software problem:
- Reset. Nothing wil be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod
You could have a bad battery that needs replacment. I can't really tell since you did say how long the battery lasted. -
I have an IPad2. I've received two different ideas on charging the battery. One person indicates I should let the battery run almost down before recharging; another person indicated I should keep it charged closer to 100% . What is the best process for the best battery life over time?
I do exactly as Thomas Reed does. Always have from day one. Going on 15 months now and I get at least 10 hours of use out the battery every day. No matter how much juice is left on the device when I go to bed - I put the iPad on the charger - doesn't matter what the battery gauge says - I plug it in and let it charge all night.

was trying to send movie by email ipad said file to large do you want to reduce and send, i said ok, hit send, screen went blank and little circle keeps running round and round and wont stop.
how do i fix this and what is going on?"try to restart the iPad, if you can't access mail, try to hold restart by pressing home button and Lock button together."
You should click Reply in the specific message you are responding to. -
my iPad doesn´t work, I already restarted it, the screen keeps turning on and off, and I can´t see anything or work on it, what else should I do?
First lets assume you battery is completely or almost completely drained.
Plug the iPad into the charger that came with it and plug that into a known good wall outlet. Leave it alone for at least an hour. Then, while it is still plugged in reset the iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. If the iPad starts and seems to be ok let it continue to Harte until the battery is fully charged.
If this doesn't solve the problem I suggest having an Apple technician take a look at your iPad. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -
My iPad shows a message "Cannot find AirPrint printer". I used to use my iPad to print materials using HP wireless printer D110. Now it does not want to print. Is this because I am now using IOS 7? What should I do to solve the problem? Help please.
Restart your WiFi router and printer by removing power for 30 seconds.
