I downloaded a book but my ipad was broken so i got a new ipad and now the book is gone.
You should be able to re-download past ibook purchases (as long as they are still available in the store) by tapping the Store button at the top left of the iBooks app and then going into the Purchased tab at the bottom of the store page : re-downloading.

If you restore to an older backup, you will get the content that is in the backup. Everything on the iPhone will be erased and you will be brought back to the time that backup was made. If your backup is in iCloud, and your new iPhone is already set up, go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, then go throught the setup screens on the iPhone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup and follow the prompts. (If it isn't set up yet, just choose this option when setting it up.)
Be sure your iPhone it connected to wifi and your charger while it is restoring the backup. -

my phones screen was broken and i took it to a repair shop in turkey and they changed the screen but when we open the phone it gives an eror

Ho there I have an iPhone 4 and is currently away for service but I wondered if it will be covered by the warranty as the silent button was broken and I sent for a box and as the box was being delivered I was juggling a lot and dropped my phone in water. I wondering if it will be covered due to the fact the button was broke before the water damage.

I recently brought in a broken iPhone 4S and was told the damage was too great and therefore that is was BER and Apple would not cover the phone. I have never dealt with this issue before and was curious as to where in the terms and conditons Apple reserves the right to not cover if the think that the phone is beyond economical repair. When I asked clerk I was told that everybody knew that BER applied and "you would not expect an insurance cover to pay for a car if it was totalled." I told the gentleman in that case the BER only applies as to whether I received money for car or insurance company repaired the vehicle. When I asked to see the terms that set this out nobody in the store (or the chat support agent later). Does anybody know where this term or terms is set forth. Also, has nobody ever questioned if it is fair to sell consumers coverage for accidental damage and not tell them that only small damage is covered and not major damage? I am a little suprised unless I am missing something really obvious. I have never had this issue with Asurion or with Best Buy coverage. Thanks
You mention Apple Care, not Apple Care + which are two completely different things. Apple Care is nothing more than an additional year of standard warranty coverage. Apple Care + is what addressed accidental damage. Warranty has never covered accidental damage. What kind of damage did you do? An out of warranty replacement can be done for $199 for the iPhone 4S, and that just means you brought the phone in at least somewhat intact.
Never heard the term, but what I wrote above is what warranty is. -
I would like to know if apple will replace it. If not, then I will take somewhere cheaper but it has some scratches so I would like to get a new one.
The home button doesn't work, the LCD cable is broken and the screen is cracked! Wow. That's the worst case of abuse that I've seen. I think that Apple will laugh at you.

Udated iPad to 4.3 lost purchased books

A few days ago i updated my ipad to 4.3 and cannot return purchased books. Sync has been perfomed before updating. Even taking me to ibooks store and trying to download purchased books I get info that books not available anymore or smth like that

I too had a same problem, when I attached AUX IN pin of my car to my ipad it got stucked in it.I went to Apple Store, they were helpless and asked me to replace it with new one for 16000 INR.
What I did is, I took a refill of a pen and sharped its back so that it exactly sits into the gap. After thar I applied some pressure and pulled it out...I got the remaining part wich was stucked.

Go back to the article you asked this question from and use the Deauthorize All function. If that's not an option, use the 'contact iTunes Store Support' link.

You should ahve been syncing the contacts with your computer all along. Just sync them to the new one.
Everything should be on your computer as you should have been syncing.
If you failed to sync everything with your computer, then you can try restoring from the last backup.

Cancel the downloads and reset the iPad (Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts off. Ignor the off slider. Then turn the iPad back on). Go back to the Purchased screen in the I.tunes app and redownload. You may want to down load one at a time.

How do you get the UDID number from your ipod if you don't have the ipod anymore. The apple store took it because it wasn't working so I can't plug it in to get the number. Some of my apps are associated wtih that number and I can't move them to my new Ipad without that number. Any ideas?
Hi KT. I restored my information back to November 10th and the one app that I need the info on is still empty like I just downloaded it. Do you have another suggestion? I was able to track down my serial number but can't get the UDID without plugging it in and I no longer have it. Suggestions?
