My iPad was stolen and I can not find how to track it. Please help?
I am not on iCloud but used to be able to find although I never subscribed to any service just set "find me" feature on iPad.
    Regards
    Simon

Reporting it to the police is just about your only alternative at this point.

  • HT4858 My iPhone was stolen and I can't find the photos...

My iPhone was stolen and I can't find the photos I took with it of a certain day from last week, only from the day before and the day after. How can I retrieve them?

If they are not on your 'My Photo Stream, you only other option is try to restore an iOS device from a backup of your lost iPhone (either via iTunes or iCloud, where ever you were backing up to).  Obviously you will need ot inherit and iOS device to do this.

How do I turn on My Photo Stream?
After your devices are up-to-date and you have set up your iCloud account, it’s easy to turn on My Photo Stream on any of your devices:
iOS devices: Go to Settings > iCloud > Photos (Photo Stream in iOS 6), then turn on My Photo Stream.
Mac: Go to System Preferences > iCloud, then select the checkbox for Photos (or Photo Stream). Click the Options button and verify that the My Photo Stream checkbox is selected. Open the application you want to use with Photo Stream (iPhoto or Aperture) and confirm that My Photo Stream is turned on in that application. You can also adjust your My Photo Stream settings in iPhoto or Aperture Preferences.
PC: Open the iCloud Control Panel for Windows and select the checkbox for Photos (Photo Stream in iCloud Control Panel 2.x). You can click the Options button to verify that My Photo Stream is enabled and adjust the settings. Be sure to click Apply when done.

    Restore from an iCloud backup
If you have a new iOS device, or if you need to restore your iOS device to resolve an issue, follow these steps.
Follow the initial steps in the iOS Setup Assistant (select your language, and so on).
Select Restore from iCloud Backup when the assistant asks you to set up your iPhone (or other iOS device).
Select the backup you created earlier.
You can restore a backup only by using the iOS Setup Assistant.
If you've already set up your device, you can erase all current content to go through the iOS Setup Assistant again. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Do this only if you already have a backup, because this step will remove all current content from your device.
    Restore from an iTunes backup
If you have a new iOS device, or if you need to restore your device to resolve an issue, follow these steps:
Connect your iOS device to the computer that has your backup.
Make sure this computer has the latest version of iTunes.
Choose File > Devices > Restore from Back up.
If you're using iTunes 10.7 or earlier, right-click the device from the list and choose Restore from Backup.

  • My iphone was stolen and wiped clean is there a way to be notified using the serial number?

My iphone was stolen last week and was only turned on twice for a brief moment so find my iphone has not helped and the police refused to file a report. I believe it's been reset now. I have my serial number and was wondering if apple will register it was stolen and block others from registering it?

    no
    Sorry.
The police will not allow you to file a report for a theft?  That does not sound right.

  • My iPod was stolen, if you can find my iPod with the serial number

My iPod was stolen, if you can find my iPod with the serial number

    Nope.
    Sorry
Report it to the police and change your passwords.

  • My Ipod was stolen and I can't seem to register it's serial number

My Ipod was stolen a week ago, and  as a means of possibly 'connecting' to it, I  tried to enter the serial number to it, but It keeps on saying that it is registered to another ID despite me only having  the  one. What do I do? Thanks!

You cannot "connect" to it by using the serial number. The following has information from Apple regarding a lost or stolen device: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen

  • My iTouch was stolen and I can't seem to get the passcode off.

About six months ago my iPod Touch was stolen, but my teacher returned it to me when she found it in the classroom. The person that had stolen it syned it to their computer and now I can't get the passcode off is there anyway I can get it off and restore all of my stuff on it?

But he can't create a backup of the iPod unles he enters the passcode on the iPod after he connects the iPod to the computer. If you could enter the passcode then you could just change the passcode.
    The followowing is from:
    iTunes: About iOS backups
If an iOS device is protected with a passcode, iTunes prompts you to enter the passcode when you connect to your computer. Once you successfully enter the passcode, iTunes will recognize that device as authorized and you will not need your passcode to back up or sync.

  • I need to find my serial number for a unit that I have registered.  It was stolen and I can not find the case it came in.

Where can I find the Serial number if the unit was stolen?

    From an apple support page:
    iTunes
    Connect iPod to your computer.
When iPod appears in iTunes, select it on the left side of the iTunes window under Devices.
Click the Summary tab, and your iPod's serial number will display on screen. For iPod shuffle (1st and 2nd generation), click the Settings tab.
If your iPod is not currently connected to your computer, but has been connected to your iTunes library before, follow these instructions:
Hold down the Control key and choose Help > About iTunes (Windows) or iTunes > About iTunes (Mac).
    Release the Control key.
As the iTunes and QuickTime version information scrolls, you will see the serial number of the last connected iPod as well as the last connected iPhone's serial number and IMEI.
    Tips:
Hold down the Option key (Shift key in Windows) to reverse the scrolling.
Press the Space bar to pause the scrolling.
You can copy this information to the Clipboard and and paste it into a document.
In Mac OS X, choose Edit > Copy (or Command-C).
    In Windows, press Control-C.
Note: In iTunes, when you view the iPod serial number, you can choose Edit > Copy to put the serial number on the Clipboard. You can then paste the serial number into an email or web page (for registration, for example).

Finding serial number for a device - https://discussions.apple.com/message/18246553 - from box or backup file, not from Apple.
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2526 - If you registered a device you can use My Support Profile to find a list of serial numbers that have been purchased or registered with your Apple ID.
    My Support Profile - https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do
Maybe a way to find serial number after a device is no longer in your possession - https://discussions.apple.com/message/19524469 - "The easiest way to find your serial number is this Open Itunes...click help... run diagnostics.....(tick or untick as necessary) so that you just have ticked the last two, device connectivity and device sync. run these tests. it will say no ipod/ipad found but will give results of test....scroll down to bottom of results... here you will find the serial number of your last attached devices."

Although Apple does not have a process to track or flag lost or stolen product, you can use My Support Profile to find a list of serial numbers that have been purchased or registered with your Apple ID.
    Go to My Support Profile*.
