My ipad will not connect to my computer throught the usb nor will it start
Do you mean that the iPad won't switch on ? If you do, then assuming that the battery isn't empty (and it can take up to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a soft-reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
Or do you mean something else ? -
Has anyone seen this issue before?
Possibly. Do you have other devices and will they connect?
One possible thing that it could be is that the USB port on your iPad has gone bad. It happened to mine. Couldn't sync, could barely charge (it said 'not charging' even when plugged into the wall)
I'd take it to the apple store, see if they can replicate it, and if they can, then they can diagnose it. Just back it up before you go, in case they do exchange it. -

My ipad will not connect tot he server when trying to access my mail. This has been happening since last Sunday. Some have said it is due to the latest software update. I am able to connect to the internet.
I am not having this issue on iPhone.
I checked all the settings, the wireless router in my house and at work.
I have completed a hard reset of the device.
I had our IT guy at work look at it.
He said to contact Apple....
Any thoughts?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Ipad will not connect to open internet or app store
I have synced my ipad with my computer. It listed on my updated ITunes account. But, the Ipad will not connect to the internet to open the store or my apps. Also Safari will not open and says can not connect to internet. I have tried "resetting" everything, but still unable to open anything. What should I try next?
Really enjoyed the Apple Store. The "Genius" was pretty helpful. Since he could not be in MY environment, he was able to prove that my IPad was able to connect to the Apple Store network, no problem. So my device is not faulty. He told me how to reapproach the hook up at home that evening, but felt I probably really most benefit by contacting our Verizon Tech Support for specific info on our router connection. That is what was must helpful. When I called Verizon, they were quick to explain all the coding on our router box and that I needed the Wep Key Code entered as "password" (not anything we would have created). And that all O's in the code were the NUMBER Zero, not the letter, which helped. THEN, he pointed out that I needed to POWER OUT completely on the IPad, which I had not discovered before to do an official RESET! I had just been tapping the button at the top of the device, which only moves the device into "Sleep" mode. But, by HOLDING DOWN the button I got the prompt to slide to the bar over to POWER OFF! Of course, this did the trick. I was THEN able to attempt my RE-connect, with the proper CODE and it worked immediately! Yippee!!! Safari connected immediately to the internet and the App store opened with no problems. I think I am good to go! Thanks for your time and help.

Ipad will not connect to my air extreme router but my IMac&air mac will
Ipad will not connect to my air extreme router but my IMac&air mac will
The router is much, much newer than the computer, perhaps some characteristic of the WiFi network as it's currently setup is preventing the computer from connecting.
Try to go back to the basics: set your WiFi network to "b" mode only (i.e., turn off "g") and termporarily remove the password from it. See if the computer will at least establish a connection at that point. Then start turning on one thing at a time ("g" mode, then security, etc).
Not sure what format your WEP key is, but if it's not 10 characters (the minimum for the standard, which constitutes a 64-bit key), you can try making it that long. If it's 13 or 26 characters, it might be a higher encryption than the computer can support.
If all else fails, you could try looking on ebay/craigslist for a copy of Tiger to install on the iMac, which would have software support for more WiFi encryption schemes. Also, it would provide software support for USB WiFi adapters that would also be able to connect to more modern networks. -
My iPad will not connect to wifi, even though my computer is currently connected. Airport mode is off, and my iPad shows connectivity in the corner. Is there any way to fix this without completely resetting the device?
- Reset the iPad. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPad: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router.
- Reset networks settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

IPad will not connect to pc or iTunes, I get a double ping when I connect the USB cable
My iPad will not connect to either my PC or iTunes. When I plug in the USB cable I get a double ping from the PC. Any Suggestions?
I have never heard of this "double ping" issue in the before. You say it is coming from the PC so maybe it is a USB problem on the computer. I assume that you have tried another USB port on the PC. You could also try another computer that is running iTunes and see what happens.
I am not a PC user, so the only other thing I can offer is a link to the Apple support site for an iOS device not being recognized in iTunes for Windows.

Ipad will not connect to bluetooth printer
My Ipad will not connect to my network printer or via bluetooth
iPad bluetooth does not work with printers - it only is configured for keyboards, audio (headset/speakers), and tethering to an iPhone.
The only printers that you can print directly to are those that have Airprint enabled - at this point a narrow range of HP models. If your printer is not on that list, there are some work-arounds as well as printing apps that go through your computer to the printer. -
IPad will not connect to wireless
iPad will not connect to wireless network, keeps trying but will not connect. Working on our other iPad that has no issue connecting to the same network
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
And this - Unplug the charger from the iPad and then replug. May resume charging.
Or - Recalibrate the battery. See link below.
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
