My iPad will not download a movie purchased on my Mac

I can see the movie on "shared" when my Mac is on. Why is there no sync movies in the iCloud section?

Thinking about it meaning that the downloading circle is just spinning and spinning? Why don't you explain what you mean.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

My iPad will not download apps. It asks for my password, I enter it, then the app appears on screen with "waiting." Then nothing more happens. I am able to download email and get on webpages without trouble. We have an airport wireless router hard wired to our cable modem. Have looked at all the suggestions on apple support page...any ideas?

Try and closing the app (app store in this case) and switch it back on and then download. If it still doesn't work, then give the IPad a rest and try again later.

I have tried signing out and back in again, no joy. I have also reset the iPad as suggested. Desktop and 2netbooks are working fine on the wireless connection. Apps won't download, initially I was able to disconnect from wifi and reconnect and that would solve it but not anymore.
I am also getting an error message intermittently advising no Internet connection. This is all since the upgrade to 5.1.1 so it has messed with something.

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your Apple ID in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it works.
If that doesn't solve the problem, go to Settings > General > Date & Time and change the date to a few months in the future and then re-try.

Have you tried resetting your iPad, or uninstalling your iTunes account and reinstalling it? Also you could upgrade to ios 5.1 and see if that works.

Ipad will not download rotated photos to i-photo

If you have rotated any photos on your ipad (original one) to view them using the full screen, they will not transfer from the ipad to an apple computer using i-photo. I-Capture has the same glitch so it is in the underlying program. I have 844 pictures rotated, out of 3000 from a recent trip, which I can not transfer to my computer unless I manually un-rotate them. Then I will have to re-rotate them once they are on my computer. This is a major Glitch/ inconvenience. I presume apple is aware of this and mayabe has a solution. Maybe there is an APP or thrid party program that will circumvent this problem. Any suggestions?

I used two cameras, downloading them both to the ipad, and it turns out only the pictures taken with the SLR Pentax camera that were rotated on the i-pad prior to downloading would not move onto the computer. Those taken with the Luminex downloaded fine even if they were rotated.

FCPX will not open after move to a new Mac'

I've just invested in a "new" 2010 MacPro and transferred everything from my 27" iMac, ( same year vintage ), to the MacPro using Carbon Copy Cloner to a new 2tb Hard Drive, installed that drive into the MacPro as it's Start Up drive and everything opens up and works just fine on the "new" machine……..except for FCPX.
While it's not my favourite editing programme by quite a margin I still want to have it usable so I can maybe learn to like it down the road after I am forced to give up FCP Studio 7.
However now it's installed on the MacPro it will not open beyond the FCPX splash screen, it crashes and asks if I want to send a report to Apple.
I've un-installed it from the MacPro and re-downloaded and re-installed a new version to see if that would help, but it didn't. Same thing happens, it crashes before it opens right after the splash screen shows up.
The MacPro' is running the same OSX 10.8.5 as previously in the 27" iMac, no other changes apart from the machine switch and everything else that was cloned over is working fine.
Maybe I've missed something that needs to be deleted from the Mac Pro before FCPX will run in it's new "home", but I can't figure out if that's the case.
Any clues would be welcome…..Thanks!

Hello Tom, thanks for the very swift response!
Yes I know that the recent versions of FCPX will not run on 10.8.5, I was running the earlier version on the iMac ( 10.0.9 ) and that's the version that was Carbon Copied over with the rest of the iMac's drive to the "new" MacPro's start up drive.
When I found it wouldn't work I re-downloaded FCPX from the App store and got the message asking me if I'd like to install an earlier version of the App because the recent one wouldn't run on OSX10.8.5, I click "yes" and an "new" FCPX 10.0.9 was downloaded. However that still will not load beyond the splash screen. So something is upsetting it somewhere.
I do have FCP 7 Studio in a separate folder in Applications labelled "FCP 7 Studio Folder", this was as it was on the iMac and run both FCP's without any conflict or problems.
Odd huh?
PS. FCPX still opens ok on the iMac…..
