if you go in through the photos app and send your image to be wallpaper you'll have a bit more luck.
Also, go into the settings, accessibility and try turning off parallax motion.

As of today, PSE will not resize images for me. I typically use PSE for this function and am familiar with it.
I thought it might have been the windows update that occurred last night, so I restored my system earlier, but it does not help. I still can't resize images. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hi! I am having the same problem. What's odd is that a few days ago- the ipad was connecting to the network fine. No changes made. Other devices can connect to this network. I have also been able to connect my ipad to other networks.
I have reset all network settings, reset my ipad, reset the router, hard stop reboot, turn on/off wifi connection. what's interesting is that when i click the arrow next to the network i am trying to log onto- the ip address, router, and dns numbers come up automatically and the router number does not fill in (also- this process takes a long time- at least 5 minutes).
any thoughts?

While posting STO grn the error message is displayed "Part1 will not be done for the excess GR quantity".
We have checked CIN settings for Excise groups, the "GRs per EI" is maintained as "2 Multiple goods receipt, multiple credit".
In J1ID, for materials it is already maintained as "2 Multiple goods receipt, multiple credit".
No partial GR is posted for the delivery.
Still system is throwing the error message "Part1 will not be done for the excess GR quantity".

Thank you for this response. I have tried this but when I start enterring $ amounts some, such as $6.00, go in OK others such as $4.00 appear as a date ie 4 Oct 12.

ALL purchases are permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was used to originally obtain them. Apps can not be updated without knowledge of that ID and, more importantly, its password. Apple IDs can not be merged and purchases can not be transferred from one ID to another.

1. Turn router off for 30 seconds and on again, this will refresh the IP address of your iPad
2. Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
3. Try adding your SSID and Password manually

IPad Air not resizing images properly

Just picked up and iPad Air this morning. It's acting strangely. When I try to set a photo for wallpaper, it's not sizing it properly. I have even tried resizing images in a photo program, but that doesn't help. Anyone?

Resizing in iPhoto did not work.

My iPad will not back up on the cloud or on my PC or on my brand new iMac

IS there any fix for an iPad 2 that will not back up. I have tried the cloud back up and on the pc I originally paired with the iPad. I just bought a new iMac and it will not sync on it even though I went I went through the authorizing process. As a result of not backing up I cannot upgrade to IOS 6

When trying to sync with iMac I got the following: attempting to copy to disk IMacintosh HD failed. Unknown error (oXe8004002)
When trying to back up on the cloud, the back up time bar went to about 3/4 of the way to finishing and stopped. The message said that it could not be backed up.
When I previously tried to download IOS 6 using the PC, I had originally synced with the iPad, it looked like it loaded the IOS6, but crashed during the back up phase.
When I go to iCloud.com, it asked me to set up the devise, but when I go to settings it shows my account number and the list of mail, calendar, etc. that is synced

TS1559 Wifi will NOT turn on for the past several days except for a brief period of approximately 2 days.

My wifi stays greyed out and dim and will not turn on. For a little bit it did turn on but would NOT recognize the wifi in our home, although all other devices did without an issue. I've tried all the solutions I've found on here and nothing is working to solve my problem. (i.e., restarted my phone, my modem, reset my network settings, backed up my phone and restored it and still nothing!) Very frustrated!!! Apple support says it must be a hardware issue and I will have to take it in for a repair which since I'm just past my one year mark, will cost $199.00.
How can it be a hardware issue if for a brief period the wifi worked for about two days before it again went dim and won't work??? Any help or suggestions would be extremely appreciated as I'm not a very techy person and I'm baffled!

Your iPhone doesn't require as much power to charge as your iPad needs so there is a possibility that the charge could have a problem even though you were able to charge the phone. If you can try a different power adapter and still have no luck, then the only thing left - IMO - is to contact Apple support and see what they advise.

I'm not trying to be a nitpicker - but what you described is a hard reset and your post gave no indication that you tried a software restore - which I referenced in my post. That's why I suggested the restore.
Many times restoring the iPad to factory settings can help "revive" the device. If you have tried restoring according to the two support articles that I directed you to and still have no success, you are probably out of luck getting any further help on this site. That's all that you can try at this point at least AFAIK.

My iPad will not switch on, its the first edition so I am wondering if that is it. I can't access the serial number either so I can't fix it over the phone with an apple expert.

I need some help, is there something wrong with me, or is it the Ipad's that i unfortunately selected. This is the 3rd ipad in less than 3weeks that i have to return to the store. the problem is the same with all three, work, then stop, and would not power on again.
Is there some negative energy that is emanating from me that i triggering off this negativity?

It was said that lightning doesn't strike the same place twice, but that is not true. I have experience many same thing experiences in the past that told me for a certainty, that lightning can and does strike the same place twice. LOL. Unfortunately I didn't have to return the third I-pad i was able to get the problem solved by one of the support community members. (sorry i forgot his name now).
His suggestion to another one having similar issues, i tried and it work for me. Probably that is what i should have done with the first one. unfortunately I did not know of this support group, only after me returning the 2nd, and i discuss those issues with some computer tech guys.
I read that to get the I-pad turn on i was suppose to " hold in both the power button and the sleep button together for a few seconds and wait until the apple logo comes on, and by doing so it will not delete any data.
I did just that, and after about a minute, it powered on, saving me a trip back to the store.

SPD Workflow will not start automatically for the first entry in a list on any given day (subsequent entries start just fine)

Hi. I have various workflows on various lists that share a common issue. The first entry of the day on that list will not start the workflow automatically. We have SharePoint 2013 Foundation. This same issue occurred when we had SharePoint 2010
as well. Interestingly, I had read about a 'fix' by adding a 5 minute pause at the start of every workflow which worked fine for a while. Now I happened to find that this is no longer working (after I see a bunch of workflows that didn't fire over the past
month - ugh!).
I know I'm not the only one with this issue as I ran across others with the issue when I first researched it and found the 'pause fix' a year or so ago and I also talked with someone else during a SP seminar who used this same fix. NOTE: These
are end users creating the items. It is not logged as a system account.
Any help would be appreciated. I have a SharePoint developer I can hire if this is beyond my ability to fix. I just need some guidance (last time I inquired they weren't aware of this issue).

Can you also advise if these are complicated workflows or high traffic lists?
