My iPad won't remember my iCloud log in.
When I try to sign in it checks off that it was accepted but immediately loses it. I've tried many times and it will not retain it. Can't get photos or anything else iCloud related without it.
What kind of video are you playing ? It's from iTunes or synced from your computer ?
Try a new video with another extension (.avi or .mp4 )
When you exit the app, first you need to select the "Done" button in the left up corner, after this you can exit the app and do something else.

It sounds like you have deleted and re added the iCloud account to your iPad but none of the iCloud content will sync to this one device. I have a few things to recommend for you. First, delete the iCloud account again from Settings > iCloud. Then close all the apps on the iPad:
iOS: Force an app to close

Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that, reset the network settings on your iPad then retest the issue:

previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords
recently used Bluetooth accessories
VPN and APN settings

whenever I use SKY for my email [ many time a day] - ([email protected]) Firefox won't remember my password (it's in settings - show passwords - so I know its there..) So every time I have to enter it manually - it's becoming a bit of a pain....
All other sites I access using passwords (YouTube / eBay ect) ALL auito log in properly - I've tried deleting from the saved password list and adding again but it still won't auto log in..what's up...???Try this if you met the same problem
Syndrome:
The wireless network name appeared on the System Preference>Network>Airport>Advanced>Preferred Networks List, but every time when start computer or wake up, a popup window said "None preferred network is available" and ask me to select a new net work, if I select the same network, the password is there. The system keychain can remember the password but System preference cannot remember the Preferred/Joined wireless network.
Reason:
Fix to this problem that strangely centred on the specific location of the “System Preferences.app”, if other than the standard location of the root of the “Applications” folder.
If you have moved the System Preferences application (not alias, actual app) to any other location for any reason, your newly joined preferred network will NOT be properly remembered and will NEVER be properly rejoined.
Solution:
1) Move “System Preferences.app” back to “Applications\”.
2) Delete all instances of “Preferred Networks” in “Network Preferences”.
3) Delete all “Airport network password” instances in “Keychain Access”.
4) Restart your Mac.
5) Add/Join applicable preferred network using the Airport pulldown menu or in Network Preferences (as if for the first time). Use “Advanced” in “Network Preferences” to confirm the existence of your preferred network and the correct settings. Use “Keychain Access” to confirm the existence of the applicable “Airport network password” instance and the correct settings.
6) Restart your Mac. The OS should now find your preferred network and join it on its own. Good Luck!
NOTE: Simply moving back System Preferences will NOT suffice. Deleting and re-adding/joining the preferred network is a must after the app has been moved. -
My iPad won't sync with iCloud anymore, iPhone and Mac are fine, suggestions?

IPad won't remember usernames and passwords after iOS 7 upgrade?
Ever since I upgraded I have to re-enter my password and username on all of my sites. They would remember me before. I do not have this problem on my iPhone just my ipad. Any suggestions?
Just login to Amazon, Netflix and other sites in Safari. For each site after I entered the username and password, then after I pressed the "Log In" button, a pop-up message box appears:
Save This Password?
You can view and remove saved
passwords in the Passwords &
AutoFill section of Safari settings
Save Password
Never for This Website
Not Now
This pop-up message is new after the iOS 7 upgrade that just started to appearing in the last few hours. -

If you don't know the ID or password, you'll first have to find the ID (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5625), then reset the password (https://iforgot.apple.com/).

When I try to use my iPad I get a message that says my iPad has not been backed-up for 2 weeks. I've plugged it in, locked it and wi fi is working with other devices but I can't get passed that message. I've tried turning the iPad off but even then I can't slide the bar to turn it off. Any suggestions?
Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

Baffled by the message on screen as I have not tried to back up the machine. How do I do anything when I am unable to go beyond this message? I am on a friends laptop trying to make some sense of what has happened. I did get an email some time ago about verifying my id but have not had time to look at this and now can't find it. I am completely stuck - can anyone help?

My ipad won't remember ip address
When i put in a static ip address, as soon as I click the home button and then return to general settings, all the settings are gone. In DHCP and boot, the numbers are different to the ones i have inputted into static. Is there a way of changing the DHCP settings to match my ip address? Maybe this will solve the ip address being forgotten every time I go to home screen??

My iPhone and iPad are on my moms icloud account and i just got a macbook air and i want all my devices on my own iCloud account - i went to all of my settings and it won't let me change my iCloud account on my phone and iPad. can i change this?
You will have to do more than simply changing settings in your moms account. To set up everything in your own account, go to Settings > iCloud > scroll down and press sign out. Before you set that up, you will have to make a new iCould account which you can simply do after you sign out of your mom's account on your devices.

how do I fix this?Sorry, you said Gmail. If that's the case, you can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
